If the family see's this comment, I think as a suggestion you should take the section of Daddy Jack giving the tour here and posting it as a seperate video. Really enjoyed seeing this and it was pretty special to watch. Thoughts with all of you after the tragedy of losing a good man.
I've been watching Jack's videos for years. Been meaning to make the trip to New London to visit his restaurant, but unfortunately I never got to do that. His recipes were basic but fantastic. What I loved about him was that he was just a regular guy, he wasn't a "celebrity chef" but just a very kind, generous man. He seemed to love what he did, shared all his recipes and gave back to his community. We're all going to miss this man.
Daddy Jack. In my opinion you are the Greatest Chef on the Internet . And a real sincere man . I wish for you and your family good health and much prosperity !
@@paolo-n2000 I am sure you will find it establishments like Jacks. Every community has it. Some establishments are famous than others. You really just have to explore your city a bit more.
Miss you Big Daddy! You replied once to me on a Polish Dish I was familiar with, and you made my week by simply being kind. The world lost an assett of humanity when you left us. Sending you love wherever you are now brother, aloha🤙🏻
This guy was an incredible chef , his food looked delicious , he was also a genuine man who took great pride in his craft and business. Better than any "celebrity chef" the Media pushed. He treated his employees and customers with respect. I really miss his videos.
This man is all heart, I have watched hours of his videos, learned so many things from his unselfish sharing. I especially admire him for his generosity and caring for others. My oldest brother retired from the Fire Department, I so appreciate his acknowledgement of the hero’s that storm into a burning building to save all they can. Thank you Sir.
You really are a good soul brother. I love the stories/jokes you tell while you cook and the way to talk kindly about people and remember everyone's name. God bless you brotha 🙏
What a great guy! I'm watching this as a home hack cook, but I feel it worthy watching for anyone in the restaurant business. How to genuinely treat staff, delight customers, and serve community. Big shoes to wear and few could do that. I also immensely enjoy his cooking methods! :)
@@CookingWithTheBlues Lol. I like that even though I'm a "Droopy" kinda guy. Search for "Harissa people" and you'll get closer to the jack pot. Thank you again for showing us your restaurant. Hopefully I will some day come over and get a supreme treat. I will bring a couple of harissa jars as a proof of my full appreciation. Love from a Tunisian fan.
It was so great to see the inside of your restaurant. I am really looking forward to seeing you one day and trying your cuisine in person. Love from NJ
Jack seems like a rare character and I'm sure Daddy Jack's is much loved in its community. I feel a lot of warmth watching Jack's videos, it really seems like somewhere my Californian ass would love to be able to stop if I ever make it back East. I'd be honored to meet Jack and take in a nice warm dinner on a chilly evening inside that bar.
Glad you enjoy my babbling Lonnie, I appreciate that you enjoybwhat I'm doing! Hope you stay healthy, Jack Become a Member Of "Cooking With The Blues" www.patreon.com/CookingWithTheBlues?fan_landing=true
It is always great when ya xan repurpose old materials, and the history that they have to go along with it. Ya have some cool stuff there. Thx for the tour of the place. So so cool to honor the history of the area and to share with others.
I just recently found your videos Jack. I am addicted. I considered becoming a chef I just never followed through with it. Thank you for sharing your skills and dishes. Great job. Thank you
I’ve lived in Fort Worth for 25-years and regret so much that I never visited Daddy Jack’s in Sundance Square when you were here. I hope you had a good experience while you were here, Fort Worth was lucky to have you!
What a great guy Jack is. I love to watch him and listen to him. Wish I could come to New London and eat in his restaurant. Thanks for such happy moments.
Oh man. Wow. This is a wonderful video. That incorporation of history into your establishment is wonderful as well as the family history. Great dish too! I'll be trying that out on some friends as usual. Thank you guys for this. I got to get up that way soon.
What a great video! I so enjoyed touring the restaurant and hearing all your stories. Great idea donating pressure cookers to fire departments! I hear that they are good cooks and I’m sure will use them often.
You can’t help but love Jack....now this is the type of guy you support because he makes your city a town, your town a community, your community a home and his home is always open and welcoming...

Very nice recipe there Jack. Loved the tour of the dinning and bar areas and the local history lesson as well. Hope that you have a great week and take care. Peace
That was a great tour of your establishment. I love your cooking videos and this gave a great new aspect. Thanks! I don't know when, but I will be up to eat sometime.
I've been wanting a chicken stew recipe and this looks real good. Thanks👍Hey, a Gregg Allman organ 👏 Very nice and informative tour. Beautiful restaurant
I did a couple of your recipes together for a Chief from a German Club in Winnipeg. He was very impressed with my cooking!! But I wasn't too bad at first. LOL I have always cooked from my guests, but when a Chief compliments you on your cooking .... not too bad!!! LOL You have an amazing place!!! I really going to have to come there!! More than anyplace that I have been in the States!! My favorite as well is the wing or the drumstick!!! Comfort food!! God bless, take care and stay safe!!
As always he comes through something I can make using my left over veggies and such. I love soups and stews there's almost no recipe just whats on hand
I love that you didn't just hire an interior decorator. It's obvious you have poured everything into every inch and it shows when you are talking about your spot. God bless
