Great sermon. I have a new perspective on the first 3 Gospels now. They were for discipleship and to people already saved. Thank you Jesus. HALLELUJAH. WHOOOHOOO. Sorry got excited there.

Some say it is easy believism. How hard is it to believe that all of your sins are paid for. First John 2:2 Would you rather have hard believism? Some say it is just cheap grace. What a horrible thing to say, it cost Jesus everything and cost us nothing. It is free. Romans 11:6 Romans 6:23. Eternal life is a free gift. We did nothing for it. Jesus paid it all and we paid 0. We can not save ourselves by what we do. Our works. Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved. John 6:47

Repenting of sins can not save you. But yes, you should as a born again believer keep from sin. Not to save you, but to keep from the chastening of the Lord. And for rewards in heaven. First Corinthians 3:11-21. You can not lose eternal life, but you can lose your physical life early and have no rewards in heaven. Once you trust Jesus as the only way of salvation by grace apart from any works, He gives you eternal life. All of your sins are paid in full, past, present, and future sins. Romans 4:6-8 He imputes His perfect righteousness to us, and will no more impute sin to our account. And it is a free gift from God apart from works. We can not earn our way to heaven. Salvation is totally dependent on what Jesus did for us. Our rewards in heaven are based on what we do after we have received the free gift of eternal life. John 5:24. But you can not lose eternal life. We are all sinners to a degree because we can not be made perfect in the flesh. First John 1:8 If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. John 3:16-18 is true. God loves you and me so much, He sent His only begotten Son, Jesus, to live a perfect sinless life, die on the cross to pay for the sins of the whole world, and then rose on the third day to prove He is the Son of God. First John 2:2. So any one can be saved by believing He did it for us. John 6:40, and John 6:29. it is the GIFT of God, That means it is free. Romans 6:23. Since all your sins are paid in full, you can not go to hell because the burden of your sins is on Christ. Not on you. But, we still reap what we sow to keep from the chastening of the Lord and for rewards in heaven. First John 5:13 These things have I written unto you that BELIEVE on the name of the Son of God, that ye may KNOW YE HAVE ETERNAL LIFE.

Just a little more. What if once we have believed on Jesus alone for the free gift of eternal life and we lose our faith and do not believe it anymore. Second Timothy 2:13 If we believe not, He abideth faithful. He can not deny Himself. Ephesians 1:13-14 and Ephesians 4:30. If we keep the faith we will have a reward in heaven. If we lose our faith, we are still saved but lose the reward. First Corinthians 3:11-21. Salvation is a one time act of faith that we trust totally in what Jesus did for us apart from any works. Romans 4:5 Justified by a one time faith alone in Christ alone for the free gift of eternal life. Jesus paid it all and we paid 0. Romans 11:6 AMAZING GRACE, JESUS PAID IT ALL, NOT PART. Remember the song. Can we change it? Jesus paid only part, I have to pay the rest. No. Jesus paid it all, and we paid 0. IT IS FREE. Romans 3:26-28. You can not boast in free.

" For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life". Only by receiving the gift of eternal life based on the merit of Jesus' finished and perfected work at the cross that God will let us in heaven. "Jesus paid it all, all to Him we owe...He washed us as white as snow".

Question: "What is the KJV Only movement? Is the King James Version the only Bible we should use?" . Answer: Many people have strong and serious objections to the translation methods and textual basis for the new translations and therefore take a strong stance in favor of the King James Version. Others are equally convinced that the newer translations are an improvement over the KJV in their textual basis and translation methodology. GotQuestions.org does not want to limit its ministry to those of the "KJV Only" persuasion. Nor do we want to limit ourselves to those who prefer the NIV, NAS, NKJV, etc. Note - the purpose of this article is not to argue against the use of the King James Version. Rather, the focus of this article is to contend with the idea that the King James Version is the only Bible English speakers should use. . The KJV Only movement claims its loyalty to be to the Textus Receptus, a Greek New Testament manuscript compilation completed in the 1500s. To varying degrees, KJV Only advocates argue that God guided Erasmus (the compiler of the Textus Receptus) to come up with a Greek text that is perfectly identical to what was originally written by the biblical authors. However, upon further examination, it can be seen that KJV Only advocates are not loyal to the Textus Receptus, but rather only to the KJV itself. The New Testament of the New King James Version is based on the Textus Receptus, just as the KJV is. Yet, KJV Only advocates label the NKJV just as heretical as they do the NIV, NAS, etc. . Beyond the NKJV, other attempts (such as the KJ21 and MEV) have been made to make minimal updates to the KJV, only "modernizing" the archaic language, while using the exact same Greek and Hebrew manuscripts. These attempts are rejected nearly as strongly as the NKJV and the other newer Bible translations. This proves that KJV Only advocates are loyal to the King James Version itself, not to the Textus Receptus. KJV Only advocates have no desire or plan to update the KJV in any way. The KJV certainly contains English that is outdated, archaic, and sometimes confusing to modern English speakers and readers. It would be fairly simple to publish an updated KJV with the archaic words and phrases updated into modern 21st century English. However, any attempt to edit the KJV in any way results in accusations from KJV Only advocates of heresy and perversion of the Word of God. . When the Bible is translated for the first time into a new language today, it is translated into the language that culture speaks and writes today, not the way they spoke and wrote 400 years ago. The same should be true in English. The Bible was written in the common, ordinary language of the people at that time. Bible translations today should be the same. That is why Bible translations must be updated and revised as languages develop and change. The KJV Only movement is very English-focused in its thinking. Why should people who read English be forced to read the Bible in outdated/archaic English, while people of all other languages can read the Bible in modern/current forms of their languages? . Our loyalties are to the original manuscripts of the Old and New Testaments, written in Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek. Only the original languages are the Word of God as He inspired it. A translation is only an attempt to take what is said in one language and communicate it in another. The modern translations are superb in taking the meaning of the original languages and communicating it in a way that we can understand in English. However, none of the modern translations are perfect. Every one contains verses that are at least somewhat mistranslated. By comparing and contrasting several different translations, it is often easier to get a good grasp on what the verse is saying than by only using one translation. Our loyalty should not be to any one English translation, but to the inspired, inerrant Word of God that is communicated by the Holy Spirit through the translations (2 Timothy 3:16-17).Recommended Resource: The King James Only Controversy by James White

Romans 6-8 Since He imputed His righteousness to us, and will no longer impute sin to our account we are given the Holy Spirit who seals us unto the day of redemption. What a trade, His righteousness for our sins. Ephesians 1:13, 4:30, and Second Timothy 2:19.Romans 11:6 It is all grace, what He did for us, not works, what we do or do not do. You can not mix law/works with grace. If we add one work, it is no longer grace. Galatians 2:21 I do not void the grace of God, for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain. If we were under the law/works we would have to be perfect to be saved. But since no one is perfect we have grace. Under grace we have His righteousness. Keep preaching it brother, maybe someone will get truly born of the Spirit and be saved forever. It is eternal life, not temporary or probationary life, but eternal life Just because He loved us. John 3:16 is true even though the Calvinist liars do not believe it.

To many get discipleship mixed up with salvation which is a free gift from God plus nothing. Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, and we all sin, but the GIFT of God, is eternal life, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Becoming a disciple of Christ does not save us. The gospel. First Corinthians 15:1-4 That Christ died for our sins, according to the scriptures, that He was buried and rose again on the third day, according to the scriptures. If you believe that gospel, that Jesus paid your sin debt in full for ever, then you can never be condemned again. John 3:18 We have eternal life now. Ephesians 1:13 In whom ye also trusted, after ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation, in whom also AFTER ye believed, ye were sealed with that Holy Spirit of promise. Hebrews 13:5 For He hath said, I will never leave you or forsake you. Salvation can only be a free gift because no one can earn it. Romans 11:6 It is all grace, not works, if it was by works, it would no longer be grace, Romans 4:5 But to him that worketh not, but believe on Him who justifieth the ungodlly, his faith is counted for righteousness. First John 2:2 And he is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only, but for the sins of the whole world. So, any one can be saved, even sinful me. John 3:16 is true. For God so loved the world. (put your name here) that He gave His only begotten Son, (Jesus) that WHOSOEVER, (put your name here) BELEIVETH IN HIM, should not perish, but HAVE EVERLASTING LIFE. Once we believe it we have eternal life. AMAZING GRACE, JESUS PAID IT ALL AND WE PAID 0. IT IS FREE. No one has ever earned eternal life. It can only be received as aa free gift. Heaven is not a reward for good behavior, but a free gift from God to every one that believes. First John 5:13 These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God, that ye may KNOW YE HAVE ETERNAL LIFE.

I forgot to give these men a big thank you for preaching the true gospel of all grace for salvation. So few are preaching the truth of the gospel. We have to do nothing to be saved, but believe on Jesus as the only way plus nothing. Not plus what we do, but only what He did for us.

Ashmyre Lim *Here are some true tests of faith and serious questions you should ask yourself, that can prove wether or not you have likely believed the gospel or not!* *Are you truly resting in the finished work of Christ?* *Do you truly believe Jesus took away the sins of the world?* *Do you truly believe Jesus took away and purged your sins?* Or do you have a conscience of sins? *Have you ceased from working for your salvation?* Or do you go about trying to establish your own righteousness? *Do you believe Jesus when He said it is finished?* Or do you doubt Jesus and think you must do something? *Do you have full assurance of your salvation?* *Do you have full assurance of your salvation... especially when you do sin?* The answer to these questions can be very revealing and should serve as a wake-up call for many professing Christians! *It's a total lie and very deceptive to think that a changed life is evidence of salvation!* *Unbelievers have a changed life all the time, so that proves absolutely nothing!* Sin is bad, it's always bad and there's many bad consequences in this life for sin. But sinning does actually prove we qualify to be saved by Jesus because He didn't come for the righteous but for sinners only. *A true barometer that you are saved is that you are truly resting in the finished work of Christ and know you are saved and don't doubt it, especially when you do sin!* Believing is more than simply believing the facts of the gospel, it's also believing what Jesus actually accomplished by and through the gospel! Most that claim to be Christian *(like you)* believe the facts of the gospel, as far as the death, burial and resurrection but they don't believe what Jesus accomplished! They don't believe He actually took away the sins of the world, as John the Baptist said He would! *They do not believe He took away their sins and they do not rest in His finished work!* John 1:29 The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, *Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.* *Other barometers that you are likely saved that come along with resting in what Christ did are, ceasing from working for your salvation, having full assurance of your salvation, not having a conscience of sins and not going about trying to establish your own righteousness!* Most professing Christians *(like you)* have a false peace that they get from doing works and turning from sin but that cannot save and is very deceptive. But that false peace is usually short lived, at least if they are honest with themselves and are not deceiving themselves. *Ceasing our works and resting in Jesus' finished work go hand in hand!* Hebrews 4:9-11 *9There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God.* 10For *he that is entered into his rest,* he also hath *ceased from his own works,* as God did from his. 11Let us labour therefore to *enter into that rest,* lest any man fall after the same example of *unbelief.* *Believers should not have a conscience of sins, if they believe their sins have been dealt with and purged!* Hebrews 10 2For then would they not have ceased to be offered? because that the worshippers *ONCE PURGED should have had no more conscience of sins.* *The blood of bulls and goats could not purge sin! But Jesus did purge our sins!* Hebrews 1:3b ...Then *he had by himself purged our sins,* sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high. *If you believe Jesus purged your sin then you should have no more conscience of sins!* *Believers do not go about trying to establish their own righteousness!* Romans 10:3 For they *being ignorant of God's righteousness,* and *going about to establish their own righteousness, HAVE NOT submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God.* *Believers have FULL assurance of their salvation!* Hebrews 10:22a let us draw near to God with a sincere heart and *with the FULL ASSURANCE that faith brings,* having our hearts sprinkled *to cleanse us from a guilty conscience...* *These are true barometers that can show if you are likely saved or not!* *So test yourself and make sure you are even in the faith! That would be, faith that's really in Him and not in yourself!*

One of the main things that causes so much division in Christianity today is, not recognizing that the warnings in the bible were to those under the law, so they could avoid the soon to come fiery judgement against unbelieving Jews, Jerusalem, and the temple with animal sacrifice that came in 70AD, that brought the Old Covenant age to an end. It was the *time of the end* NOT *the end of time!* HUGE DIFFERENCE! The reason they had to persevere to the end of the age, was for the obvious practical purpose of avoiding the 70AD judgement. If they remained under the law or went back under the law, they would face the judgement in 70AD. They needed to be watching for His coming in 70AD. The sign was when Jerusalem was surrounded by enemy forces and when they saw that sign, they were to flee to the mountains. And if they were not sober they would likely miss it and be destroyed! This explains much of why there is so much division between Free Gracers and Lordshipers. It was the law that caused wrath and that's why the law came to an end in 70AD. Romans 4:15 *Because the law worketh wrath:* for where no law is, there is no transgression. If you view all the warning verses in light of the judgement that came in 70AD, they all make sense and most disagreements regarding them would disappear. Matthew 16:28 Verily I say unto you, *There be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom.* Matthew 24:34 Verily I say unto you, *This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.* Luke 21:36 “But keep on the alert at all times, praying that you may have strength to escape all these things that are *ABOUT TO TAKE PLACE...* Revelation 1:1 The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants *things which must shortly come to pass;* and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John: Revelation 1:7 Behold, He is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see Him, *even those who pierced Him...* Revelation 22:10 And he said to me, *"Do not seal up the words of the prophecy of this book, for the time is near.* Luke 21:20-24 20And when ye shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that the desolation thereof is nigh. 21Then let them which are in Judaea flee to the mountains; and let them which are in the midst of it depart out; and let not them that are in the countries enter thereinto. *22For these be the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled.*

John 10:1-5,14,26-27 Truly truly, I say to you, he who does not enter the sheepfold by the door but climbs in by another way that man is a thief and a robber. 2But he who enters by the door is the shepherd of the sheep. 3To him the gatekeeper opens. The sheep hear his voice, and he calls his own sheep by name and leads them out. 4When he has brought out all his own, he goes before them, and the sheep follow him, for they "know" his voice. 5A stranger they will not follow, but they will flee from him, for they do not "know" the voice of strangers.14 Iam the good shepherd. I "know" my own and my own "know" me 26but you do not believe because you are not among my sheep. 27My sheep hear my voice, and I "know" them, and they follow me. Only those who have a changed life by repentance, and striving for Holiness are those who are Jesus's sheep and follow him. Jesus uses the word "knows" as in an intimate way just like that word is used throughout scripture. Matt 7:21-23 Why does Jesus say depart from me I never "knew" you ye that work iniquity. He's not double minded The works mentioned are works that He told us to do Matt 10:28 John14:12 Mark 16:15-17. Jesus and Paul: Acts 26:18-20 To open their eyes, in order to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and and inheritance among those who are sanctified by Faith in me. Therefore, King Agrippa, I was not disobedient to the heavenly vision, 20but declared first to those in Damascus and in Jerusalem, and throughout all the region of Judea, and then to the Gentiles, that they should REPENT AND TURN TO GOD and do works befitting repentance. Clearly they claimed they believed in God to do those works He doesn't say you trusted in your works He doesn't say I knew you once and you later rejected me. He says I never "knew" you (in scripture "knew" means intimately) They never changed their minds about their sinfulled life (repented) Of their sins as Jesus the disciples and Paul all preached They didn't have a personal relationship with Him. They were pointing to their works as evidence they knew Him. They believed repentance is works God didn't know them because they hadn't been regenerated, forgiven of their sins and died in their iniquity. Titus 1:16 They profess that they "know" God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good works reprobate. Jesus wouldn't refer to what He commanded us to do as iniquity or lawlessness Note: They didn't say I repented of my sins which is the first requirement for salvation. What is the will of the Father? The Greek word that is translated as “does” is poieo. The word appears 598 times in the New Testament. It has been demonstrated that the Greek word for “does” refers to action that performs an activity. This word is a verb and not a noun.Since poieo is a verb, we must also determine the meaning of its tense, voice and mood. The tense of poieo in Matthew 7:21 is in the present tense.Poieo in the present tense refers to action that is ongoing. For example, when Jesus said, “he who does the will” He was referring to ongoing action at that moment in time. In other words he who is doing the Father's will. The Greek word for “does” is a Greek present participle which implies ongoing behavior. The person who does the will of God once in a while does not qualify.Jesus is describing someone who habitually does the will of the Father. Poieo is also in the active voice, which means that when Jesus said, “.he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven will enter” Jesus was saying that the individual must be performing the action. A life of obedience (present tense “do” [Ποιωv] for continuous action) to his will is, in fact, the definition of righteousness. when Jesus says “. . . but he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven will enter.” The word “does” is a present, active, participle verb which means that those who continuously are doing the will of the Father go to heaven. Jesus was referring to a pattern of life and not perfect obedience. The character of true Christians is that they sin less and less as they mature in their faith. 1 John 2:17 The world and its desires pass away, but whoever does the WILL of God lives forever.

Amen brothers. Faith in Jesus finished work is salvation by grace. John 3:18, we can never be condemned. Jesus took our place before God and took the punishment we deserve. Ephesians 2:8-9 For by grace ye are saved, through faith, and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God, not of works, lest any man should boast. Notice faith is not a work because it is faith without works. Ephesians 1:13 In whom ye also trusted, after ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom also AFTER ye believed, ye were sealed by the Holy Spirit of promise. Ephesians 4:30 And grieve not the Spirit of God in whom you are sealed unto the day of redemption. Notice we are not given the Holy Spirit until we believe, not before. How does God know them that are His. Second Timothy 2:19 Nevertheless, the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, (the Holy Spirit), and, Let everyone that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity. Romans 8-9 Those with out the Spirit of God are not saved. How do we get the Spirit? Believe on the one He has sent. Believing on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved. Believing is receiving the free gift of eternal life. The simplicity of the gospel is the gospel, John 3:16, John 10:28, John 6:37, John 6:39, John 6:40, Hebrews 13:5, He will never leave us or forsake us. He will never cast us out, John 6:47, John 5:24 First John 5:13 These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God, that ye may know ye have eternal life. AMAZING GRACE, JESUS PAID IT ALL AND WE PAID 0, IT IS FREE.

Milan I'm not a pastor but am the owner of this channel. I usually pray to the heavenly Father but I think it's most important to pray in Jesus name because on our own we have no standing before the Father. But I sometimes start out prayers by addressing God as Lord but try to always finish with in Jesus name amen. I Don't know that the wording is so important because God knows what's in our heart. I think some of our most efficient prayers is when we don't say a word. Sometimes the words do not come and sometimes we actually don't know for sure what we should be praying for. So it's awesome to know in these situations that we can just humbly kneel before the Lord in silence, in awe of Him with the attitude of placing everything at His feet or in His hands and the Holy Spirit will even pray for us. Isn't that amazing? Praise the Lord! 1 Peter 5:7 *Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.* Romans 8:26 *Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.*

John 1:12 But as many as received Him, to them gave He power, to become the children of God, even to them that believe on His name. Since you are a child of God by faith in His Son, Jesus, God is now your heavenly Father. So pray to Him through Jesus. Jesus is our mediator to God. He has bridged the gap between us and God. Now we are made righteous through Him who saved us by grace. God loves us, but hates our sin, so He went to the cross to pay our sin debt in full so that we could be saved by what He did for us. Jesus paid it all and we paid 0. It is a free GIFT of God, not by any thing we do or do not do. Our works. Ephesians 2:8-9 For by grace ye are saved, through faith, and that not of yourselves, (we did nothing for it) it is the GIFT of God, not of works, (what we do or do not do,) lest any man should boast. When we trust Jesus as our savior, believe and receive the free gift of salvation by grace, we not only have all our sins paid for forever, we receive eternal life, and His righteousness. Romans 4:6-8 He took our sins, and gave us His righteousness which is the righteousness of God that we could never live up to. What a trade. Our sins for His righteousness. Second Corinthians 5:21 For he hath made Him who knew no sin, to be sin for us so that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him. Two things you will always find in false teachers, They add works to grace, and they do not believe John 3:16 They say they do, but they do not believe it. Even the Catholics say they believe Ephesians 2:8-9 but they do not believe it. Calvinism, Arminianism, and Lordship salvation are not the gospel of the bible. They are doctrines of men, not the bible. What do the Catholics believe? If you have not done enough good works to go to heaven, but you have done enough so that you do not have to go to hell,. you go to purgatory. There is no such teaching in the bible. When we die we either go to heaven if we have believed, or hell if we have not believed. Once we believe we have eternal life. It is a free gift that we did nothing for, and we have nothing to boast in.. Jesus paid it all and we paid 0. it is free.

I think you are being sarcastic and saying if these people believed they were working for Christ they obviously believed in him. The reason these people were not saved, I believe, is that they were not trusting in Christ alone for their salvation, but Christ and their works. What Christ did on the cross was sufficient for salvation and trying to add human effort to it in a sense shows you do not believe in the sufficiency of his sacrifice. We should do good works as a Christian, but not to be saved, but because we are saved. Isaiah 64:6 says all our works of righteousness are as filthy rags. So all the good we do cannot cleanse us. We have a sin problem not a works problem, and only the shed blood of Jesus can make us right with God.

Tyler W You are spot on, brother in Christ! I think you'll be hard pressed to find a professing Christian that doesn't believe on Jesus work on the cross, but is trusting ONLY in their works. I don't even believe those Christians exist. However, professing Christians that somehow, in some way, believe they have "a part to play" in their salvation-IN ADDITION to what Christ did- are a dime a dozen. They might not even outright state it....it might be on a sub-conscious level, ingrained and entwined into their beliefs about their salvation. That's why when you present these professing Christians with the potent truth of "saved by the Grace of God ALONE by faith ALONE", they come out swinging-ready to bludgeon you verbally to death. These are the people Jesus spoke about. People that have ALWAYS believed this way and never FOR ONCE believed the potent truth ('cos one moment of believing the truth is enough to get you saved). And He said they'll be many.....and from what I see out here in Christiandom, the Saviour did not lie. God is clear:- "....to him that worketh NOT..." "APART FROM WORKS". Doesn't get clearer than that!

I don't understand how they couldn't have been genuine believers if they cast out demons, healed the sick, and worked wonders in His name. The 7 sons of Sceva tried that on a demon possessed man and all it got'em was a severe whoopin'. Acts 19:15, " One day the evil spirit answered them, "Jesus I know, and Paul I know about, but who are you?" And then it attacked them with profound ferocity.

It's very obvious that the ones that were saying Lord Lord were trusting in their works instead of trusting in Jesus and what He did for them! *They kept saying look at how good we are with all our good works. We did this in your name and that in your name but those works got them nowhere! Why? Because they were trusting in their works instead of trusting in Jesus and what He did for them!* Ephesians 2:8-9 8For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: *9Not of works, lest any man should boast.* Matthew 7:21-23 21Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. 22Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, *have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?* 23And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. *And what is the will of the Father?* *That you believe in His Son! Trust in what He did for you!* John 6:40 And *this is the will of him that sent me,* that every one which seeth the Son, and *believeth on him,* may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day. I hope this helps.

People who called Jesus "Lord ..Lord.." could actually be those people who thought that their souls were saved already from punishment by faith alone but then realized that they could not enter the kingdom of heaven for they have not done works like helping those considered by Jesus as least of His brothers and sisters, so they started complaining.

The only reason they were not saved, is they never did the will of the Father. John 6:40 They trusted in their works to save themselves. They thought if they did good works and kept the law, that they would be saved. But as good as those things are they can not save us. We can only be saved by what Jesus did for us on the cross plus nothing. Romans 11:6 It is all grace, not works, if it was works, it would no longer be grace, and if by grace, it is no more work. Jesus paid it all and we paid 0. Those that say you can be lost are trusting in their works to save themselves and not on the finished work of Christ. They are deceived, but they do not know they are deceived or they would not be deceived. John 3:16 For God so loved the world, (everybody) that He gave His only begotten Son, (Jesus) that WHOSOEVER, (anybody) that believeth in Him, WILL NOT PERISH BUT HAVE EVERLASTING LIFE. John 6:37 All that the Father giveth me, will come to me, and all that cometh to me, I will in no wise cast out. John 6:39 Jesus has never lost one. John 10:28 And I give unto them eternal life, and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. Nothing can separate us from the Love of God. Romans 8:35-39 First John 5:13 These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God, that ye may know ye have eternal life.

What about those who appear to be Christians but then quit the faith? Were their names erased from the Book of Life? John explained that as well. "They went out from us, but they were not really of us; for if they had been of us, they would have remained with us; but they went out, so that it would be shown that they all are not of us" (1 John 2:19). No, their names weren't erased. They never were believers in the first place, meaning their names were never written in the Book of Life

Even if someone leaves the faith it does not mean they were not saved. You cant lose your salvation for any reason nor can you prove you never were saved by anything you do or dont do. That kind of thinking proves someone does not understand salvation. The moment someone places their trust in Jesus to save them they are sealed by the Holy Spirit and that seal can never be broken, even if your faith is completely overthrown! 2 Timothy 2:18-19 18Who concerning the truth have erred, saying that the resurrection is past already; and *overthrow the faith of some. 19Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his...* Ephesians 1:13 When you heard the message of Truth gospel of your salvation, and when you believed in Him, you were also sealed with the promised Holy Spirit. Ephesians 4:30 And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.

Simon was saved... then sinned... now being told to repent from that sin... or he will perish.... it obviously scared simon and he begged for peter to pray to god for him.... Why, be so scared if once your saved you can never lose your salvation.... BECAUSE ONCE SAVED ALWAYS SAVED IS A LIE

One of the main things that causes so much division in Christianity today is, not recognizing that the warnings in the bible were to those under the law, so they could be saved from the soon to come fiery judgement against unbelieving Jews, Jerusalem, and the temple with animal sacrifice that came in 70AD, that brought the Old Covenant age to an end. Luke 21:20-24 20And when ye shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that the desolation thereof is nigh. 21Then let them which are in Judaea flee to the mountains; and let them which are in the midst of it depart out; and let not them that are in the countries enter thereinto. *22For these be the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled.* A Jewish historian recorded that no believers died in the 70AD destruction. They all fled to the mountains outside of Jerusalem. Matthew 16:28 Verily I say unto you, *There be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom.* Matthew 24:34 Verily I say unto you, *This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.* Luke 21:36 “But keep on the alert at all times, praying that you may have strength to escape all these things that are *ABOUT TO TAKE PLACE...* Revelation 1:1 The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants *things which must shortly come to pass;* and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John: Revelation 1:7 Behold, He is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see Him, *even those who pierced Him...* Revelation 22:10 And he said to me, *"Do not seal up the words of the prophecy of this book, for the time is near.* Luke 21:22 *For these be the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled.*

Lamentations 3:31-32 *31For no one is cast off by the Lord forever.* 32Though he brings grief, *he will show compassion, so great is his unfailing love.* Everyone will ultimately be saved. 1 Timothy 4:10 For therefore we both labour and suffer reproach, because we trust in the living God, *who IS the Saviour of ALL MEN...* John 12:47 *And if any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world.* 1 John 2:2 And he is the propitiation for our sins: and *not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.* Romans 5:19 For as through the one man's disobedience *THE MANY were made sinners,* even so *through the obedience of the One THE MANY will be made RIGHTEOUS.* Jesus the second Adam reversed the curse of the first Adam. We took no part in being made sinners and we take no part in being made righteous. If we don't believe Jesus reversed the curse of Adam then we are saying that the first Adam was more powerful than God.

@@SalvationByGrace not all who call me lord lord will make it to heaven, but those who do the will of my father in heaven. Jesus destroyed the power of sin through repentance. And by repenting you will draw nigh to Jesus, your heart will begin to change and you will love what god loves and hate what god hates. Paying special attention to verses 12 and 16 Philippians 2;12-17 12 Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. 13 For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure. 14 Do all things without murmurings and disputings 15 That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world; 16 Holding forth the word of life; that I may rejoice in the day of Christ, that I have not run in vain, neither laboured in vain. 17 Yea, and if I be offered upon the sacrifice and service of your faith, I joy, and rejoice with you all. If you think you have not a purpose for god your going to miss it completely. We are called with a perpose. Deny yourself daily and pick up your cross. Then Jesus will guide the rest. First John 1:8 If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. So we all sin. but all our sins have been paid for. AMAZING GRACE Should we sin? God forbid that we should walk any more in it, But when we sin, we have grace in time of need. Where sin abounded grace much more abounds. We do reap what we sow, but can never lose our relationship to our heavenly Father. We may get out of fellowship with Him, but He is always are Father. Galatians 3:3 Are ye so foolish? Having begun in the Spirit, are ye now made perfect by the flesh? Self righteousness is sin. Our righteousness is in Christ. He gave us His righteousness when we trusted Him to save us. Romans 4:5 But to the one that worketh not, but believe on the one who justifieth the ungodly (all of us) His faith is counted for righteousness. AMAZING GRACE.

These types ignore 7:19 and 25:31ff! Of Matthew! Those who think Christianity is not all about works miss the point! For the Christian they are gospel works by the SAVED!! NOT WORKS DONE UNDER THE LAW IN AN ATTEMPT TO EARN SALVATION! MOST IN PULPIT AND PEW LIVE LIVES OF GREED AND SIN! IT IS THESE TYPES SCRIPTURE CONDEMNS! WE ARE TO WALK IN THE STEPS OF JESUS (1JOHN) AND JESUS WAS ALL ABOUT HELPING PEOPLE WHICH IS ALSO THE WILL OF THE FATHER AS IS NOT TO LIVE IN SIN! AS IS WE MEDITATE ON WORD OF GOD AS SERIOUSLY AS WE SERIOUSLY TAKE EATING TO SUSTAIN PHYSICAL LIFE! STAY AWAY FROM THESE BLIND PEOPLE!

The Scripture does not say pretend! They were like we conducted Bible studies on RU-vid! Zane puts a spin on the Scriptures that is not in Scripture to stress their warped theology!
