Castos curios make the best carcano bullets close to the origonial load

Sellier & Bellot makes a superb 6.5x52 117 grain round

I have had some success lately using resized 270 projectiles

If guns shoot high, shoot lighter faster load drop target impact. Just tips of yesterday you probably know. Lee hand loaders making new again

I use the Norma factory 6.5 it has a 264 diameter bullet, but the 156 torpedo shape round is very accurate , compared to the ppu 139 grain bullet, plus they are loaded a little hot then the ppu, try a box , it would make a good video

Rember the old wise tail. Back powder off couple grains in ammo

I had to almost completely bury the front sight blade in my TS

Years ago I had 2 nice Carcano's with plenty of Milsurp ammo n when I shot them they were just ok nothing like a K-98, K-31 or Finn M-39.. But after I ran out of this ammo I soon learned Ammo was an Issue period .. Buying correct sized projectiles has always been an problem... I also reload.... I didn't jump on the RTI bandwagon with these old milsurp rifles... And will Never buy from them again cause I have a pair of Wall-hangers from them.... I'm just west of you near Hickory and the LGS's won't even take a Carcano in on trade... be well Mike , MB...
