Dobey had been playing at that level for the past few weeks and tonight he was finally rewarded despite losing the final, MVG was winning nights but relatively easily without playing his best stuff
People seem to get very complacent against him. I think the respect isn't fully there yet or they actually get nervous which I doubt. Over confidence can be a very bad thing.
Price thinking about his score at 20.32 was very impressive. Deciding to go for 25 to leave 156 rather than stay up top to leave a more difficult 161, and then taking it out to win the match. Those little things make a difference with the elite players.
Missed tonights darts but i cant believe what ive seen. Dobey whitewashing MVG i mean wow. And well done Gezzy for winning the night, some of his checkouts were absolute class today, the 156 and 138 just too good 👌🏻.

Love to see gezzy win the nights and get points , he hasn’t been himself in the majors lately so hopefully the premier league will be in his grasp this year , I’d like to see him win the match play aswell .. someone of his standard should be winning atleast 1 major a year but I was buzzing for Dobey again especially his whitewash of mvg
Personally I love Wright's darts (it's his trash talking attitude since he became world champ that I don't like). Darts like these never did The Power any harm. He just has to get used to the way they land in the board. I hope he sticks with them (and proves everyone wrong) but I doubt he will 😂
Snakebite seems to have lost his rattle. It sucks cause it looks as if he's playing without heart and you got to have heart. C'mon Peter you're better than this. You're a champion, compete like it. Quit using different diameter darts. Stick with the skinnier ones.
I think we knew MVG's streak was gonna come to an end sooner or later... Just not like that. Nice one, Chris. Ok, he got beat in the final but whatever. He whitewashed MVG, not many can say that. Kudos to Price though, he's a joy to watch when crowds let him play well. Meanwhile... Wright... you're done for, mate. You ain't making the playoffs from here, I'm afraid.
Everyone is bored with it or never liked it from the start, check out Matt Edgar's video about it last week and read the comments. Next week the 4 quarters will be a repeat of last night's - just to make it even more stale.
Pl is so stale this year....they need 12 plyr pool A pool B. Round Robin 2 top from each pool advance to SF then a final. 6 matches a night and less talent gets snubbed.....
Peter Wright using these darts that clearly don't work for him is an obvious sign that he now has completely given up on the PL and just using the PL matches as practice
Still enough weeks to make top 4, although you may be right. He's defending serious ranking money this year, so its going to be real pressure from the matchplay onwards.
Snake with a mohawk is entitled to loose... indefinitely! Man's totally lost it!🐍🤢🤮 If only he'd loose them loud pajamas, the mohawk, the snake paint job, the attitude & be faithful at least to a set of darts, then maybe... Because really, without the darts, you just get a sad clown begging for attention! 🙄
