news.blizzard.... Clarification on probius q level 7, these pulses are not Qs, so they get no benefit from the level 20 talent. Read it 3 times and still missed it.
How is that good? Just reduces gameplay variety... again... Let the ARAM players stay with this. No need for regular game modes. It's note like you can one shot wells with any hero in early game. You need to trade a long presence for doing this and also it makes you way too predictable and ez to be just anchored/trapped from fog of war/bushes. If one cannot realize wellsnipe in time that's a skill issue. It will make map objectives less affective again as you won't be able to achieve even the minimal value of destroying wells, you need to go for the fort/keep - with an extended health - giving the defending side more time to answer. Also the extended health gives global heroes and talents like Mule a massive meta advantage...again...
So if the issue is well sniping early game dont completely remove the ability to kill wells especially on forts. It adds strategy to prepare for objectives. I don't get why this is a thing at minimum they should be killable after ten or something.
I disagree with immortal wells. .. if they wanted to stop well snipers then they only needed to double the health giving more time for players to defend it. Or even make it immortal until the gate and towers are down but not the freaking fort or keep that’s insulting blizzard. Being able to delete the other teams well as a trade is a very nice strategy when your behind and helps stop the snowball. Or setting up for the next objective. Else the game becomes a brainless ARAM with more lanes especially in lower ranks. They should bring in a mechanic now to reinstate the strategy that was lost, to disable wells for the duration of an objective - but without destroying them so that more work is involved. Perhaps attacking or channelling the well for 45-60 seconds could lock or poison the well for the duration of the next objective. A reasonable trade-off between the annoyance of well sniping and the ability to use it as a strategy.
Rehgar was the first hero I really picked up and "Mastered" back in the day. I think he's the sole reason I wanted to be a support (now healer) main. I always had a blast playing Rehgar. I haven't really touched him in quite a while. We lost touch, so to speak.. I'll be looking out for the Rehgar video, because it's high time I play some more HotS, and get back in touch with my boy.
As a Probuis main, this is the day I feared. It means he's going to be too accessible( OP) and people wont underestimate him as much. Few things gave me as much satisfaction as when people cried when I prepicked Probuis in the draft only to change their tune at the end of the match.
I'm looking forward to testing him as well. Only real down side is he is still MEGA squish, but now doesn't require as hard of a preemptive setup to make at least somewhat work. Also not totally dependent on pylons to make things happen as well, which is nice.

With probius being one of the lowest played heroes that wasn't "special", who's next on the rework list? I always think Nova needs a rework since she hasn't been touched since like 2017 and doesn't really do much as a stealth hero or as a "sniper" kind of damage dealer.
I like the pylon ult and cannon change, but the change to warp rift may be bad, Probius is all about area denial and they are taking some of that away, but I’ll have to try it out on the PTR and see how that affects him some.
I think although his winrates sucked hard in skilled Hands Probius was one of the stronger ARAM heroes thanks to that area denial. The pylon requirement for the cannon barely mattered and with Pylon Overcharge I usually waited for a setup where I had 2 Pylons in good positions and "Warp in Pylon" on no more than 6s cd, so I could get at least 4 more seconds out of the third pylon after one got destroyed. With that strategy I think the 10s>8s nerf actually hurts just as much as the invuln buff helps. (And since it prioritozed heroes that targetting-change is an outright nerf) I think Warp Resonance is still way better than echo pulse. I also think that the best lvl 16 changed towards interference. With his nerf to cc and his bush-trap idea (put 3 warp rifts into a bush and wait) he's probably going to be more reliant on Null Gate. At least his Photon Cannon got a good buff while in Pylon range. Gosh darn, I don't like the Prob changes.
@@andy02q I play a lot of Prob and I’m definitely gonna miss the bush kills/damage. I’m definitely mixed about his changes even though I was overall happy that he was even in the patchnotes to begin with. And the buffs to his Q might make me try it some more. As far as his pylons, it’s definitely gonna help with late set ups to some degree(even though you shouldn’t be late with that)
I think his area denial was just a little too strong and he sucked in other areas just a little too much, but I agree he should stay more a control hero than an assassin. But blizzards want everything to be an assassin as they must class everything in to a boring set standardised role Lol! I’m wondering how his wave clear and push abilities have been affected. I think his Q will be nice now if they don’t make it to powerful in terms of damage (and I’m sure they have). So I hope % damage doesn’t apply on the 20 talent, or any slows.. I forget his talent tree.
For Johanna the baseline Ironskin cooldown was reduced from 25 sec to 22, so the 'nerf' to Hold your ground is just a balance adjustment to keep it the same :P In a way picking Hold your ground is gonna be the same, but the cost of not picking it will be less, since you get that extra 3 sec CD you didn't have before. Just thought its worth mentioning o/
Which was kind of his point seeing that Hold Your Ground was already not super popular as it's competing with other strong talents so now there's even less incentive to take it.
@@dynastes4938 I thought last patch was 6 months ago with the Overwatch skins. But blizzard's website is so shitty there's sometimes patch notes missing so maybe there were some patches after that but ai missed it.
Surprised they chose Rehgar as the major rework hero as opposed to others like Nova, Illidan, etc, but it's a welcome rework nonetheless. Also interesting Probius got a mini rework, lets see if it's enough to make him see some actual play now, though I suspect he'll need more tuning to get anywhere near the meta. I like the rest of the changes, especially the ones to Brightwing, though I doubt the Stukov nerfs were enough as they were just minor base line changes so now Stukov will again be alone at the top of the healers, or perhaps new Rehgar will join him there though new Rehgar seems to be all about the flexibility rather than raw healing power, though Ancestral is still Ancestral...
My poor girl Lunara gets turned into a discount burst mage because the dev team didn't want to lean in on her DoT/utility to make her interesting. But the burst they gave her was overtuned. So what do they do? Sure, they tune down her burst. AND HER DoT. Blizzard please, her poison is already the less significant part of her damage. Please stop nerfing her poison.

Im not sure if I agree that Probius W will give you more reliable damage now..when you place it down and run off (cause of safety reasons)..what are the odds that someone is gonna actually stand in the AoE after 3 seconds? I have to think about Flamestrike, having people stand in that without CC is oftentimes not happening, and that doesnt only explode 3s after placing it down. At the same time, this change weakens the Probius area denial, which was kinda where he was partly shining as on obectives imo.
It can detonate before 3 seconds I think, what matters is the arming time that I think is unchanged. Your still hit a big hit box like dehaka and diablo if there to slow to move away or get blocked/stunned. It looks like there nerfing the area control (probably to much) and making him an assassin (probably to much).

Guys its time to be real, its been years and they barely do anything with this game anymore, i used to spent my whole days on this game back in the day, had a 88.9% winrate on malthael and 70% in solo, its slowly dying and soon its gonna be just a meme.. i loved watching streams and this kind of videos to learn new things and then suddenly they cancel everything, well.. i moved on about 2 years ago, just saying, some of u might consider moving to some new game that at least has a working team behind it and not just 2 guys

Considering the changes made to a few heroes, I honestly wouldn't mind a small change (buff) for one of the few heroes that are way too niche and almost never seen these days; I'm talking about Kharazim (the D3Monk) : His biggest issue is that, he has NO waveclear whatsoever, like a few heroes, but I believe that since BW, Anduin, Rehgar, or even Stukov, the top healers currently, all have many tools including some decent waveclear , I think that each 3rd hit of the Monk should also send a small aoe shockwave that would do like 25% or even 40% of one of his regular AA dmg ( think of it as Malthael's cleaving aa once every 3 atks ).. Also it would be cool if each hit would activate the trait : if you choose Transcendence -healing, more healing, Insight -mana, more mana ecc... ofc the aoe only being each 3rd atk and in a rather small cone in front of where the monk is pointing at, I really don't see it being gamebreaking ! What are your thoughts ?
Dehaka - lurker strain, still silly bad troll talent. I’ve yet to see any high ranked player getting better value from it than the other options lol. If you need it then you picked Dehaka into the wrong team comp. I’d only pick it if it magically nerfed sonya’s boom boom boom that you just can’t deal with. Spoiler alert .. it doesn’t. Seriously show me a match with good players, where lurker strain was a better pick. I had 1 ARAM in 800+ Dehaka levels where lurker strain was a requirement as the other team was 100% AA heroes and I needed it to get in to land a Q for my less than skilled team. BW If they wanted to nerf her then they should have nerfed polly - greater rewarding you for landing her other talents. Since her rework she’s just a polly bot with an annoying strong heal. It felt a lot more involved to play her in her old build and a lot more enjoyable. A longer CD on polly would be a good start before they poke her healing amount. I also feel her D cleans was a mistake, a single person cleans is a lot better all round and feels more balanced and is something lower ranks or new players can understand better. Also stop apologising in your videos lol.
As someone who has played a decent amount of Probius, those changes sound REALLY strong, except for the shorter W duration, not a fan of that one, not like anyone is gonna step in it as it explodes on it's own anyways. I would much rather have seen them add the Q return talent to his base kit since that's how you safely detonate the W for pushing usually. But it already sounds like he might be borderline OP once people actually try to play him after this, so whatever I guess.
Imho they should make Reservoir of Hope baseline too, but rather than +75 Energy per full cast, she only gets +5. That would give more or less the same value in the long run.
I don't like that probius' cannon now takes time to wind up, even if you place it directly in a pylon power field. but that's a minor complaint, he needed some love.
This patch killed my will to keep playing HotS, in all honesty. I was waiting for a patch, that would help me quit League. It brings literally nothing new to like 95% of the playerbase, appart from the Fountain changes... Which isnt something new, as its already a thing in ARAM. Most of the things are minor number changes (Imperius literally 10 points of damage changes, for instance, facepalm). I was expectinga a new hero, map changes, or big mechanic/gameplay stuff. Totally not a 2,5 months' work patch. Shame.
Although I agree this isn't a lot for 2,5 months, those are no small changes. The "10 points of damage" is just the base damage, that's a 15% damage increase for the skill, and the probius changes are huge, gonna take him from trash tier up to really strong, potentially too strong even.
Disagree about what you said for brightwing level 1. There isn't really a BAD situation to take it. The lower ranks LOVE picking one build and never changing. Polymorph range only sees good use in competitive. Same with being able to hit your Q tor reduce CD on your W. I think bribe depends on the map entirely. So maps where you don't want bribe, brightwing will be worse (which already was true after the first time they nerfed this talent, which is why people thought about bribe in the first place). I think that's reasonable considering BW popularity and WR at most levels.
I think Hyper shift would be a solid pick (although way less often optimal) even at 0 extra healing. BWs global is at 40s which can in extreme cases be halfed. 40s>30s is more realistic, but given it's additional benefit that's still not terrible. Meanwhile Falstads global has the same windup, but isn't insta, isn't true global, has 75s cd and no additional benefit.
Honestly 2% is nothing unless it’s a big tank. 5% is sort of a cut off point to me to say there is no extra healing here. My issue is in lower ranks you need to stay with your team to keep them from feeding, I never have time to bribe a camp at the ‘right time’! and timing matters. The other talent I only take if I feel I need the range (think needing to get in when your team blocks you a lot or the other team is focusing you hard for playing to well), there is little benifit from lowering the CD on poly in lower ranks as people don’t respond fast enough for it to matter on both sides lol. Her lvl1 talents in lower rank all feel kind of meh to me lol. I normally take the healing to pad my stats just little more XD
I think that Junkrat's change is quite interesting... Now you simply get to choose if you want 2 small or one BIG trap... I actually consider this a buff, cause you can control almost as big an area with 2 silence traps as you could with 2 BIG ones, and now you just get the other option of having one BIG AS silence destroyer trap... pretty sweet
erm.. if u fight near an infernal shrine and attack HEROES instead of minions -- you are doing something terribly wrong, plus the enemy will get the infernal..
Real quick note about what he said during the Imperius part: the w talent at lvl 7 doesn’t mean that the mark doesn’t get consumed, it means that the second instance of the center part of the w no longer consumes marks that are already there. You still get the same amount of trait value from any autos afterward
I may look into Probius now as I love to play mages but the style did not fit for me. But Reghar is more important but I fear he will be banned now so one of my 2 healers I fill with will be missing.
What does "cast finish time" even mean? On another note. Those comments are getting more and more ridiculous. A joke is ok when a joke is expected or nothing is expected and a joke is a nice surprise. But when explanation is expected and we get a stupid joke instead, that's just annoying. Actually I start to wonder if the only reason they mess with those heroes isn’t just to have an opportunity to shine with their wit. Could someone explain to them to stop please?
