Bought van at 100k miles had a small shudder at around 50-70mph, thought it was the flex coupler got that recall done, still was there at 110k, put some torque converter shudder fix worked for 20k miles and shudder came back, replaced the torque converter at 130k. From my research pretty common issue because of how the transits are geared. At 150k now no shudder. Easy to change aswell $350 oem torque converter 4 days of work if your taking it easy.

Transit torque converts tend to go bad along with the transmission around 200-300k miles depending on use. Best solution is to replace the transmission and TC with a low mileage used one. That way you have an OEM built trans at a good price. My 10k mile used trans was around $2000-2200 plus $600 or so install. This was a pre-covid price though. Throttle bodies are also good for 200-250k miles. Never use electronics from the discount parts stores, except as noted below. The quality in general is poor. Alternators, throttle bodies, sensors etc are best bought from the dealer or if possible, from the OEM supplier directly. For example, AC Delco and Motorcraft parts from a parts store. My Sprinter shop has a similar line on Mercedes parts and it saves me a fortune

Please tell me it's not the evap purge sensor at the engine, i had a 13 focus, i practically had to change that every year. That evap purge sensor not working is dangerous your vehicle can cut out while your'e driving, had it happen to me twice, false fuel readings, problems trying to fuel your vehicle and when you do get it fuelled it doesn't want to turn over. I resorted to keeping an extra sensor because they always had to send for one.
