The grip he has on his handgun with his thumbs pointing forward like that is the correct way to hold it and that's something that 99.9% of movies/actors get wrong. Even though this film is based on welcome back Frank and tom Jane done a good job, Frank having to get loaded on bourbon to get stitches put in was pathetic ,I'd say the most faithful punisher is Jon bernthal and Ray Stevenson .I do enjoy this dirty laundry was okay but Frank wouldn't just stand by and let gang bangers terrorise civilians. again I may be nit picking but Frank character revolves around having insane pain tolerance and utter devotion to up holding his brand of justice in this movie the elaborate scheme was dumb Frank would have methodically just wiped them out he didn't need to turn them against each other to do so.

@@rhysoneill7399 lol Thomas Jane probably killed more people in this movie than Bernthal did in two seasons of his own show..and Bernthal's take was pretty annoying because he only killed as a last resort, whereas this one has seen that killing is the only way to get things done because the justice system is a failed system..plus this version also became hollow inside after his family died, unlike Bernthal who was still capable of hacing flings etc...this guy was just focused on his mission..Bernthal's also retired in the first episode as part of the prologue...something the punisher would never do...and even in the end when he killed all the people that were linked to his family's death (which for some reason involved what felt like the whole government for some reason), he just retired again and went into hiding, whereas this one just vowed to keep killing people...lol, we can nitpick both versions

I Think the Problem with Bernthal's Punisher is that you never get to see the Emotional Side of Frank, instead They just showed all the Cool Stuff where that's Not the Point of the Character, With Jane's Punisher you see the Emotional Side of Punisher, Honestly I Miss these Marvel Movies where They actually care about Developing The Character and have Great Action while also containing a Serious and Mature Tone

There's so many little things, I'm still waiting for the day when people realize how good this movie actually was and that it was way ahead of its time. If it came out now on some streaming service I think it would be super popular. Obviously it would have to be a little different because times have changed, but a lot of how it was made was more like how such films are made nowadays. Sort of like Iron Man 1, Netflix Daredevil, Captain America, etc. where there's a little sci fi or super powers, but it's rooted in a more realistic world. Now MCU is getting pretty sci fi, but phase 1 was way more down to earth.

@@TheGoldenHawaiianSwordsmanDrag Although not necessarily my favorite version of The Punisher, this version of The Punisher is the closest resemblance to a character in a book I’m writing called “The Road Ranger.” The Road Ranger is a Punisher meets Fallout: New Vegas kind of story where it takes place in a post-apocalyptic city-state called “Calivada” and a Calivadan Army Ranger named “Matt Santos” leaves military life after six years of service to reconnect with his mother and stepfather. Only thing is he finds them going through a bad patch and weeks later despite being promised legal protection as a witness, his mother is shot dead but strangely his stepfather is spared. Initially he lets his lady friend Maria Garcia in the FBI find the murderers but the chief wouldn’t allow an investigation. Hearing this bad news from Maria herself, Matt eventually decides to go on a rampage after he comes across a possible gang member by chance who may have some connection with his mother’s murder. Matt Santos uses a Glock 19 pistol, a MK18 CQBR (M4 Carbine variant), and a bow and arrow for stealthy approaches.

Thomas Jane was the best Frank Castle/ Punisher hands down. As much I appreciate Jon Bernthal and his performance/ characterization, Jane's version was in a league of it's own. Jon's was too emotional and a loose cannon that lashed out every chance he could. Jane's was methodical, systematic, and above all: calm. He made moves carefully and planned two to three steps ahead. He was a damn skilled hunter/predator and when he made his move it was game over. Yes I'm aware in the comics they portrayed Castle in various different dispositions but this one tops em all

But unlike putty Bluetack is an affordable commercial stationary used to stick paper on anything of your choosing, quick and simple but it's effectiveness is debatable, hence why I referenced him sticking IEDs to the car as using Bluetack as he just lightly pushed them into position. And considering the yield, I bet even if those things fell off it would not decrease the effective use of the booms.
