On April 23, 1946, Dr. Alfred Seidl, counsel for Hans Frank, called Joseph Buehler , State Secretary in the Government General beginning in middle of 1940. He testified that Frank had limited authority concerning police matters and opposed Nazi resettlement policy. He discussed the Treatment of the Jews, Pacification Action in Poland and lack of forewarning re: Warsaw Revolt. He was further examined by Servatius on behalf of Sauckel and Soviet Prosecutor Smirnov.
