NYONYA ‘JIU HU CHAR’
Ingredients:
✏️ Udang Kering / Dried Shrimp (20g)
✏️ Sotong Kering / Dried Cuttlefish (40g)
✏️ Bawang Putih / Garlic (3 cloves)
✏️ Bawang Merah / Red Onions (1 nos)
✏️ Sengkuang / Jicama (300g)
✏️ Lobak Merah / Carrot (1 nos)
✏️ Kobis / Cabbage (100g)
✏️ Cendawan Shiitake / Shiitake Mushrooms (4 nos)
✏️ Selada Hijau / Green Floral Lettuce (1 nos)
✏️ Garam / Salt
✏️ Gula / Sugar
✏️ Lada Putih / White Pepper
✏️ Minyak / Oil
Instructions:
1. Heat up some oil and fry the dried shrimps until fragrant, then add in the garlic, onions and dried cuttlefish to fry.
2. When golden, add in the mushrooms. Once the dish is fragrant, add in the rest of the vegetables.
3. After it’s cooked, season with salt, sugar and pepper.
4. Serve with lettuce and your favourite chilli paste!
