Day 1 of 3 at the Manukau Live Steamers Waitangi Weekend 2017 was for NZR (New Zealand Railways) locomotives to come and run for a special day without passengers.
This gave the opportunity for a wide range of locos to come down, some that hadn't been seen in a long time! It also allowed for a special lineup of NZR locos like nothing before, that made for a fantastic and special day. Enjoy the sights and sounds of many NZR KB, A, WAB, C, F, DXR, DFT class locos and more!
