No front but biggest cap i have seen this week. Zeus has more experience on the battlefield and is pretty much unkillable. Odin is a mortal. He didnt even stand a chance against Kratos (even tho he got some help by Freya and Atreus) while Zeus literally killed Kratos on their first encounter. So clearly Zeus is stronger. Even in the game it´s said, that greek gods are kind of stronger.
Odin wins countless wars as stated on the lore from gow and never lost except from kratos Hes basically a mastermind both in the battlefield but overall in intelligence aswell shown with the game he basically manipulated asgard, his family and people he ruled, hell even heimdall got manipulated by odin too The only intelligence feat i can remember from zeus is tricking kratos from using the blade of olympus which drained his powers but even then thats just basic thinking hell i can count how many times zeus did more stupidity than making intelligence feats
faxxxxxxxxxxxxxx odin is heavily underestimated because of his boss fight in which he was alone facing 2 really powerful gods and the strongest god and still gave a good fight. if kratos was alone it would be the most difficult fight he would have ever had

Zeus destroys Odin Greek gods are immortal and death still has grasp over Odin because he got killed by Fenrisúlfr. in norse mythology Odin got swallowed by a giant wolf that just proves he is just a mortal. in Greek mythology Zeus never got killed so Zeus is superior to Odin so it's basically immortal god Vs a god who is still vulnerable to death it only took a giant wolf to easily kill Odin so he is inferior.

you may like odin or zeus but remember that in the game the characters talk about the powers and the greek gods themselves as being stronger than the norse gods, i know the fight between the norse and greek gods would have been even but the gods of olimp would have easily won against odyn thor and baldur, why? poseidon and hades beating each other unarmed destroyed the titans as shown by the creators in gow 3, zeus killed kratos as many as 2 times and his fight with zeus lasted as long as 2 parts of god of war, odyn after 2 rounds with kratos and artreus had enough, the greek gods didn't need magic to live forever, they were just immortal, if it wasn't for the curse baldur wouldn't have stood a chance against kratos, zeus was afraid of the prophecy and the fact that his son could kill him and take over on olympus, odyn was afraid of ragnarok who was going to show up anyway but also kratos who was better than him, the makers of god of war showed a war between gods and titans where zeus annihilated hundreds of titans with one sword stroke, don't just look through some silly stuff, it counts too: the storyline and the epic battle that was shown to us and their skills, if you don't know then I recommend you to play the previous parts of god of war, and I will also add that odyn needed some kind of fire or ice shield to defend himself against kratos, zeus was tough enough that he just didn't need it :)
The only time i remember kratos talking greek gods are greater is when he fought heimdall but even then he probably compared him to the enemies mostly the greeks not the norse pantheon. Even in the game it was stated that baldur and thor are the strongest opponents he had faced and norse are more like warrior like gods than greek ever was so greeks are far above against greeks in terms of combat capabilities
@@spider-man5544 Norse gods are shown to basically be humans with super strength, who are mortal and need either special weapons or be taught magic to do anything special. Greek gods are born with powers.
@@darkimperator2540 Zeus doesnt need weapons to do shit. The Blade of Olympus is just overkill. Ares can summon meteorites, delete armies with a wave of his hands and open up pocket dimensions without any weapons (he can also alter his size and body without any magical items). Poseidon doesnt use any special weapons (the trident in GoW3 is made from his powers and isnt the actual trident of Poseidon). Hades only needs his claws to rip out your soul, but has the power to control the souls of the dead without them. And they all were born with those powers. What the fuck can Baldur or Thor do without his hammer that isnt just punch hard? And Odins powers comes from being taught vanir magic by Freya, which originated from the giants. Thats why they die like regular dudes while the greek gods cause world altering disasters when they die. So cope harder.

What makes them overrated. Poseidon was taking on almost all the titans and bloodlusted kratos with power of hope but somehow loses to Odin. Hades has stolen countless of souls in his ifetime INCLUDING ATLAS but loses to Odin. Yet Odin is losing to kratos holding back.

Such a statement was not made, and even if it were, it is explicitly explained in Ragnarok that Greek gods are depicted as more powerful. Game expressions>everything.

Overated was killed by gow 2 Kratos. Doesn't matter how angry gow 2 Kratos was base gow 3 Kratos one shots him regardless. And that same gow 3 Kratos needs poh to even have a chance against gow 4 Kratos. Being death does not scale anywhere. Concept of death does not scale anywhere.

@@nicholashoward971 Incorrect. That is NOT stated by the novels. And the fact is that it took only 2 games to bring down the Norse pantheon. In the Greek era, it took 3 mainline games PLUS the prequels. The Norse pantheon was absolute joke.

Odin solos all except for the main trio Zeus Hades and Poseidon. Those three are ridiculously overpowered characters and the fact that Kratos murdered them shows how broken Kratos really is
Well Yes, most probably, but so can Zeus. Basically, Zeus is physically stronger than Odin in terms of raw strength, being the second physically strongest of the Olympians gods, surpassed only by his son, Hercules, without supplementing his strength with his other powers.
