Off the Record with J.D. Souther | American Songwriter Exclusive Interview 

JD will always be the brightest genius behind many, a number of amazing songs and famous performers who wish they could have been him. Looking at him, and having read about him, tells me his life hasn't been an easy ride all the way. Of course, we adults know that the wisdom comes in exchange for the trials and tribulations we endure. We the world are blessed a little more because of JD's wisdom and genius, and his life. If by some happenstance, I were to bump into JD, and I only had enough time to utter a few words, from a stranger, it'd be "Thanks JD, you've made life significantly better for a world that needs a daily release".

JD Souther being so graceful to this very young and rather inexperienced interviewer. JD is the most underrated singer and songwriter of the 20th century. Pure talent. I never get tired of listening to him and his songs. Thanks JD Souther for the music and the memories.
