Captain Fur Missile reporting for nom nom!!! Wow, what a brilliant dog! 👏 His Dad was pretty firm and straight laced, but the K9 was perfectly controlled. I love seeing these amazing animals doing their thing, just incredible. Thank you this excellent video 😊
This dog is not a "Blood Hound" type. It is trained to follow a track on the ground that has recently been disturbed. Broken insects, grass and any disturbance is picked up by the dog that is why the handler kept asking if the Officer had been in the ditch as that would also leave a track and confuse the dog. Obviously if the offender is hiding close by the dog will pick up a scent but would not know if that was the actual offender or not.
@@arkansaspoliceactivity I have just been really busy with unpacking from this crazy move. I just move so slow. Enjoyed both Premiers last night. Great seeing every one in chat.
Sure seemed like a solum bunch along side the highway. Not much verbal interaction with the dog in the car either to get him interested. I have nothing but respect for these handlers now days. Everyone has a gun.your walking up to areas with your light or the next guy to you. And you have to feel like you’re pulling your buddy in the worse possible situation. Especially the traffic. It’s a little different in the military. But you’re attachment to your dog. May God bless you all. (The barking when he’s back in the truck . Can I drive now??!!)
Someone answered it in another comment, in summary it’s that the dog isn’t a bloodhound so they aren’t going by scent (if the dude is nearby they could smell them) but they are going off what’s disturbed (bugs, grass, etc). Which is why knowing where the cop has gone is important so that they know if the dog is getting confused or not!

@APA Grandma Wolf, I got here late. I saw your question about the Body Cams and I love them! I really think all Police and Troopers need them to protect themselves against false claims of abuse and what not. I saw Aztec Art on here as well. I recognized the name from another channel we both watch. Small World. 😊
Dog needs a bright yellow cop vest on with iridescent stripes. Can't even see the vest he's got on now its so dark if he ran across the street he'd get run over.
@@mrsteadog1313 Yes ma'am, that would be T-30, Sgt Follette, who came with the Drone.......The legacy liveas on.....LOL Anyone with over 15 years still working, knows PaPa......LOL
@arkansaspoliceactivity I love it!! You have *quite* a legacy at LRPD for sure! It's a thing of beauty! It'll be a long, long time before your touch exits the building...
I swear blind that at 2.02 the guy is stood behind the light-pole. I've watched it back a few times and I'm 100% sure. Easy for me to see in hindsight, not making any comment on the Policeman's actions.😊

PUGGS I got a CHILL reading this comment.........Thanks for making my night. BTW, next Live, I am promoting you!!!!!! Welcome to the WOLF PACK. Congrats
🇬🇧 Why did the K9 officer not let the Dog sniff the inside of the Hellcat to pick up the persons Scent so he has something to Track , and what sort of command to the dog is " Zook " in England the police dog officer would use the command " Find him Boy "
Your Department is the best! Y’all do your job beyond expectations and lm amazed and the outcome of these arrests. Great job keep pushing and STAY SAFE! Goodnight and god bless!
Poor dano doesn't have the faintest who he is tracking .That's the handlers fault ,no praise or encouragement . He needs a desk job .bitter and twisted
The K9 behaviour seems to be lacking in training and purposefulness. Perhaps a young dog that needs more work. Good luck, the dogs are definitely worth the work.
1:48 should have got him in the foot or the knee right then and the chase would be over they need to bring that back to when they run they can get shot in the foot or knee to stop them save on man hours 😂😂
I’d never spend that kind of cash on a car that couldn’t be GPS tracked and/or remotely disabled. Even my cheap cars have AirTags on them (speakers removed to prevent pinging location).
"With a Bow-wow-wow, yippie-yo, yippie-yay, Now We Doin' it Doggystyle". 🐕🦺 I just wish one of these K-9s were named "Kracken" then we could hear someone yell out "RELEASE THE KRACKEN!!!", LOL!
