@@QuiltAddictsAnonymous I finally got it! Was having trouble getting the fabric to fit under the presser foot and had to unwrap some of the beginning to get it started. I am about half way through the collosial round rug

You need a goof strong thread and a lot of it. The big spook of Aurifil meets both requirements.

I'm trying to find out how large a round rug i can make with 100 yards of the jelly roll batting. would anyone happen to know? i need one about 6 feet in diameter to go under my kitchen table and i don't want to get started and not have enough. thank you!!

The pattern for this rug comes with instructions to make it with 100 yards of batting. It finishes 52” in diameter, so I would probably go with 150 yards. We have rolls available. They are linked in the video description.

I agree. I purchased the pattern and the instructions to start the coil are hard to understand, even after reading it multiple times. ByAnnie patterns include a video if you purchase the pattern. Would be nice it the pattern designer did this as well.
