i love the winter, the fact that its dark most of time is the best thing of winter, going to school in the dark feels unreal, leaveing the gym in the evening feels unreal, the dark and the cold give me a feeling of mysteriousness, peace and quiet. I feel numb, angry and mysterious. Winter Matches my inner mood. I cant wait for winter, best time of the year.

i love this song, it gives me a melancholy and also relaxing feeling. i really love the cold seasons, where i live cold hits very hard since its kinda of a desert, going to school in the darkness feels very relaxing, the air hitting your face when you just woke up. everything is so cozy and amazing. i love winter.

i was in Spain on a school trip. I lived with my host family and connected with them so much. i met a bunch of friends and connected with them. after three weeks we left in the morning. i can still remember that dark morning. saying goodbye to all of the people i spent time with. it was still night outside as i got on the bus with my class and i listened to this song. saddest feeling ever.
I was born in the cold country of Kazakhstan and only lived there for a few years before migrating to hot tropical climate country where I would live for the rest of my life. I'm now 15 years old and when I think back about my Kazakhstan childhood I can recall the snowy seasons and boy oh boy they give me lots of nostalgia. Walking on the snow with boots makes a soothing sound. Kazakhstan is a sparsely populated country so most of it is basically empty. This evokes a liminal feeling in me.

Wow I know it's a turkic language but I never knew that Also to me German grammar is annoying lmao so that doesn't make Kazakh too pleasing, I prefer studying Russian grammar to German (even tho it's "harder" my 1st language is lithuanian so its more similar)
I live in a tropical country, so it doesn't snow. Either way, this song still sticks with me. I've known it since December of 2020, and the closest thing this song can remind me of is how simple life was back then. 2020 isn't too old-it's fairly recent-but this song takes me back to even older times. I was a child and would ride home with my mother in a van because I would often visit my cousins and aunties on my mom's side. I'd come home with either a new book or a new toy. I was so extremely happy then, and those were the days when it seemed like there was nothing to be sad about. No worry, no anxiety, no over-analyzing life. Poison Tree, one of my most favorite songs.

I was at one of the places I believe. Everything is so familiar like I saw it yesterday it’s now 2022 and I feel like life’s been going by fast. These photos make me think of 2010 exploring the winter snowy streets and woods at night playing with old friends then walking home and feeling happy just being a kid and not worrying about life I am now almost 16 and I worry about many things I don’t feel like a kid anymore and I’m growing up and changing it’s really sad I miss those good times it makes me sad…
