Heya! It's finally time for my first sketchbook tour! What's better for that than my first finished sketchbook? :) Grab a warm cuppa and your favourite supplies and enjoy!
In this old sketchbook tour we'll be flipping through the pages that started me off improving my art skills, gaining confidence in sketching, and exploring different methods of self studying art. Old is a bit relative here as the sketchbook is only from 2021! I've filled several since then and my skills, interests, and even how I use sketchbooks has grown and changed over the course of a few years. You will see me exploring perspective and construction, learning to draw simple shapes in space, the ups and downs of animal drawing and head drawing studies, and how I continued on no matter what.
I look back on these sketches now with fondness. The trail of sketches, drawings, and paintings I create show where I was, where I am, and where I may go. The ups and downs, the ebbs and flows, the slow burns, the leaps, and everything in between.
🍂MATERIALS🍂

Whow what a journey 🥰 I espacially adore the way you draw hair 💖 I'm not a pro artist but I do notice that sometimes when painting or drawing from references they just don't make much sense, and when that happens I usually alter it to make it make sense to me 😅 because personally it's more important to convey what's happening than to be 100% accurate to the reference

Thank you! 💜💜 That's a really good point! Often times studying from reference is half what you see, and half the knowledge you've built up on art & fundamentals.
