my hometown. although i now reside in the state of florida, seeing these photos puts an ache in my heart. richmond has changed too much now but history never will!
Many of the buildings in RVA still stand,with the Jefferson Hotel being the best looking currently. The difference between Richmond then,and RVA now,is what I would call "divine progress "!!!
🚲 truly fantastic architecture. Can't imagine razing any of them. But shouldn't the Capitol building be first properly vandalized and then torn down by an uneducated gang of protesters since it served the Confederacy ?🏛
Mike...That is a very good point. And every battlefield should be bulldozed too..!! Yea, it's insane, isn't it. It has been proven that Marxist organizations are well funded and supplied and trained and it's them...primarily...that have started the riots and destruction. But...BLM is also just a front for Marxism. Their website ( unless it has been scrubbed recently ) calls for the destruction of America. Americans need to WAKE UP....Blacks need to WAKE UP...they have been used by the Democrats since the days of Lyndon Johnson as ECONOMIC SLAVES; kept in poverty by the Democrats and used as political puppets ever since. Socialism has gained a strong foot-hold in this country and it's astounding to see. I urge...I plead with every freedom loving American to VOTE President Trump in November and put a stop to this madness..!!
@Kris Karbunkle 🏍️ We realize our perspective is not unanimous throughout the city or the South. Actually it's one that is most assuredly declining. So it's a good thing we just don't care how much of the 'rva' is sharin' our affinity. Oh yes, context. Keep in mind that the losers are called traitors, but if they win they're called founding fathers.
