I feel like that's why his songs are so refreshing. We have gotten so far away from real music. We've all gotten so used to 5 to 8 minute songs about nothing, full of synthetic sounds and beats. The sound of that guitar seems to find the cracks in my soul and find it's way down into the core of it all. May be the reason for the way we all respond to it.

Pure, honest, transparent communication doesn't take a lot of words.

The thing about WWIII is I am afraid it will be fought on our own soil, and be worse than all prior wars. I do know that we need a major change in DC.

I know things are rough, but twice this year I've seen ordinary people come together on a massive scale to help their fellow man. The first was when I visited Poland and I saw how the Polish people are helping shelter over a million Ukrainians, and how well treated and focused on building a better future they all seemed. The second is much closer to home, the fires up here in Canada have been the worst ever recorded, over 1000 of them, and have displaced 10s of thousands of people, my region is the closest safe zone from the fires and we've been taking in tons of people of all ages, wealth, races etc. People are coming together to help fight the fires, evacuate citizens and even rescue pets and animals, and so far, thanks to everyone's efforts, not a single civilian has died, which I think is fucking impressive. What I'm saying is we don't need WW3 for people to put aside the bullshit and come together, we just need common cause, to work towards a greater goal, whether that's saving every single life we can, or helping people fleeing from war. We need to hold our governments accountable and make them value our lives. Because if they don't, you get 1000 people burning to death in Hawaii, you get 10s of thousands of people dying with a needle in their arm. Maybe this is just wishful thinking or cringe, but I think it starts with us caring about each other again. God bless man, I hope you all make it through these times 🙏

We're going to have to come together at some point, with large crowds standing in front of those sherrifs. Right now, we the sheep just watch as the devil devours our fellow human beings being over cost of living. What are they going to do when thousands are willing to resist even the eviction of one person trying? They can't jail and imprison us all and those debt collectors, well how many generations of our families have they harassed, how many parents have missed out on their children growing up because of them? Millions upon millions of lives ruined over late mortgage, late vehicle, late electric, late water, later cell phone etc.....Just so little to ruin our families and government talking about fixing world problems when they should be worried about my families problems.

@@TormentedVet_Reactions 10-4 , appalachian music (bluegrass/folk) has always been soul bearing truth, I grew up on this music, even though I play/listen to a wide range, I always come back to my roots, I guess that's why his songs hit a nerve, I'm glad others in the world are discovering this beautiful, soul wrenching music that's a part of so many of us here in the mountains.
