As a fellow male Olivia Rodrigo fan, its soo refreshing and affirming to see a fellow male fan who isn’t afraid of hidding his love for this absolute force of a girl, love you❤
As a fellow male Olivia fan im not afraid to hide my obsession anymore but my cousins did bully me for it and i just ignored them they thought i was gonna stop being her biggest fan and i do not regret a little bit for liking her iv been with her since hsmtmts
Dude, I'm a 45 year old man and this show is going to be the best night of my life. It is VERY possible I will be crying with joy the entire time. 😅 Good video!
I'm 31 and went to the Montreal show and was also surprised at how diverse the crowd was. But I was surrounded by 2 teenagers and it was the BEST experience because I felt more free to act like a teenager myself and jump up and down while screaming my heart out 😅
As a 27 y/o gal, I think it’s more that we older fans feel weird being amongst so many youths lol. Has nothing to do with yall, but all to do with how old we feel. I’m so happy teens have a great artist to look up to, Miley Cyrus was and still is that person for me and watching teen girls grow with Olivia reminds me so much of the experience i had with miley :’)
When someone says a person is too old to be a fan of music and artists that are trendy within the younger population or Gen Z.. I ask them " so, does that mean that those fans will stop being fans and stop supporting and streaming the artists songs after a certain age? " they don't have an answer for thar. Music is for everyone. Nobody is too young or too old to enjoy music. I like many genres from classical music to techno, rock, metal and recently some k-pop. It's enjoyable music and thats what music is for, to enjoy or to be motivated or inspired or have a good workout or be in the zone at work or relax. Nobody is too old to be an Olivia Rodrigo fan and nobody is too young to be a Metallica fan. Let's all enjoys music 😁
Thank you thank you.I'm 15 almost 16 next year. and Man am I glad to hear This, so many people just can't accept the fact that different people. Enjoy different types of music.
I love seeing male fans of Olivia! I just saw her a few days later after you did last week in Boston and it was Chappell’s final stop on the guts tour and it was amazing ❤
@@garrettmartin7085 there was surprisingly a lot of guys at the shows I was at. I also was hoping not to feel so out of place as I’m 28 and a lot of fans of hers I have seen are late teens/early twenties
She does no have a single bad song bro. my friends hate me for blasting her music in the car lmaoo. When I went to her concert I think I was the only guy in my entire section
I’m a straight guy in his mid-30s so I’m definitely the minority (could probably be the father to a lot of the fans there- in fact someone actually thought that). Been following her since she released Driver’s License and continue to enjoy her music. I have to say it was one of the most incredible concerts I’ve ever been to. I came in thinking I’d have fun but I walked out blown away.
Me now finally seeing other male olivia rodrigo fans just warms my heart as im criticised for liking her, ive memorised all of her songs and i mean ALL OF THEM, and i only really listen to her, she is just amazing and she has really helped shape how music is interpreted today. I love you so much olivia ❤ :)
i’m seeing her in 3 months and words can’t explain my excitement. she saved me when i was at my darkest times and is my whole personality. i’m so happy to finally see older people like u enjoying her music
I’ve been a fan of Olivia since her American girl doll movie but still haven’t seen her live. Rlly hope I can find cheap tickets a few days before she comes close to my state!
Went to toronto night 2 and it was incredible! I loved watching your perspective on Olivia and this video was a blast! Thanks for normalizing male fans of OR, I feel she's seen as basic white teen pop too much and is underappreciated for all of her talent.
So excited to see how your experience unfolded😊👍 PS, I got waitlisted for the shows at Madison Square Garden, but I got taken off the waitlist back in January which allowed me the opportunity to get tickets for two of the shows this week💜😊!
olivia is so talented there really is no one doing like her in this new gen rn. im so excited to see follow her and chappell as their careers progress. also i might get cancelled but imo shes doing a lot better than some more seasoned artists rn 👀
I just went to a concert with a bunch of people where everyone in the crowd was in their late teens and mid 20’s, mostly girls, and my dad went with me because he didn’t want me to go myself and he had to go bc my younger brother was going. I wonder how many people were judging me, my brother was by far the youngest there, I was 18, and my dad was in his 40’s and knew like none of the songs so he was just standing there. I was just enjoying the music the whole time but when we got in line everyone was staring at us, maybe it was bc on top of all this I was in a walking boot cast. Anyways I’m self conscious now, and I didn’t realize how embarrassing I probably was, hoping no one remembers that or thought I was a loser. The girl directly in front of me turned around and gave me a look for a solid 10 seconds, idk why, but this is why I have social anxiety
I went to that same show by myself as a 29 years old and had the time of my life. I really enjoyed every part of it and to see all the cute outfits and excitement!
She’s truly amazing. I’m happy to be a fan of her! Because like you said so many people also relate with songs in their own ways. She’s just pure talent and I am grateful to be in her fan base.
Olivia Rodrigo will take over Taylor Swift's throne as a queen pop singer this time around after The Era Tour is over for Taylor Swift. This might be her peak of her career entertainment.
As a 20year old male fan who is fully upsessed with her music I feel you completely incapsulated why we all relate and connect to her music even if some of her song are all about hating guys lol I was following her on insta quite a while before drivers license was dropped so I sort of feel a weird sort of support and ownership that I discovered her and her music before most of the world did. I'm am a bit over the top with merch tho to the point everyone I know makes fun of me for my OR merch lol Also happy to hear other people love (Love is Embarrassing ) as much as I do one of my fav songs by her not that she has a single bad one lol fingers crossed she come to NZ
You have to listen to Stick season album by noah kahan, I feel that you would looooove it 🙏🏻🔥😭 it's so good, Olivia did a cover of his song and then he came on stage at Guts tour in New York a few days agooo 😭
I saw your video two months ago. I immediately bought a ticket. It was my first concert and I was alone in a city I had never visited before. I couldn't imagine that it would be sooo great. Thank you for motivating me to buy this ticket.
I actually went to her concert in Cologne by myself and it was the best decision I ever made. I almost didn't go because I also had no one to go with but I'm so glad I took the opportunity and pushed myself to go alone. Next time you want to go to a concert don't miss out on it just because you don't have anyone to accompany you. You will be thanking your future self!
Damn, I like Olivia but wouldn't consider myself a major fan, but that was a beautiful concert. Made me tear up a little listening to you recall it. Glad you were able to go and enjoy yourself.
38F here. I’m going to her concert here in Tokyo this September. I’m so ready to let nostalgia wash over me and have one of the best times of my life 😄
Only seen a couple of this guys videos. The first one I saw was the evolution of Gracie Abrams concert w a stranger (Erin) Seeing them together now just makes my day.
i went to the toronto sour tour mere weeks before i left for the military and it was but now that im in the military i never go the luxury of being able to get this time off to go to the toronto guts show. sad i missed it. i got one last chance to go... cause i have a chance at getting my leave pass approved so i can go to the UK in cardiff to see taylor swift and 2 days later olivia will be in Madrid, so imma just fly there real quick for like 12 hours then go back to the uk then back home... i am willing to do this cause i love her concerts so much
One of the reasons I wanted to even get OR tickets in the first place was so I could see Chappell Roan - sadly, she’s not coming to open for my show :(
I’ve been a fan of Olivia Rodrigo since high school musical the musical and I always wanted to go to her concert but I can’t afford a ticket to go but it’s my dream to meet her I love her and she’s my celebrity crush only if I could afford one to go
man as someone who lives in asia.... lucky you for getting to see her 🥲 people are so worried about feeling old meanwhile there are millions of fans who don't even have the option to see her
i went to the guts tour two days after my birthday (i went on april 5 and my birthdays april 3) and i was SOBBING lmfao 😭😭 i couldnt see the screen from my seat and i got overstimulated during the opener(i got the breeders) but i loved it nonetheless!!!
dawg... it hurts the wallet but its worth it... thats why i spent 900$ getting a a ticket to her toronto show and a plane ticket to toronto... i did this the very night right after i saw her play in Denver... broke my fucking bank but it left me with an experience i will cherish for the rest of my life.
If tickets were between 50-100$, I'd go to see it. She's got some hits for sure. It would be pretty cool to jam with Olivia Rodrigo. But no way would I feel comfortable spending 200$ for that. I appreciate you posting this and sharing the experience.
@@AllAroundTheWorld1225 you dont think its sorta fucked up bringing a child into this world that you dont actually want or cant care for and then viewing it as a "consequence" u must pay for? i wonder how that child will be treated.... also plenty of people use protection and it fails. its not fool proof. and not everyone believes in or cares for god. i think we gotta agree to disagree on this one!
I’m a 14 year old female and my little sister absolutely LOVES Olivia’s songs (I do too but I like Tate McRae’s songs better), and I’m glad a male is showing that he likes listening to Olivia. Some males are to afraid to show it.
