This is the BMW/ZF 53-BZ to Mercedes OM606 Adapter Kit (also m102/3/4, om602/3/4/5).
This suits the 53-BZ 6 speed transmission as found in BMW E90 E91 E92 335i petrol models 2006-2011. This extremely strong transmission has proven itself to withstand over 1000bhp and 1000Nm.

On these transmissions it's also wise to upgrade the bolts of the casing. These are alloy and can easily be swapped for stronger steel ones.

Im most likely buying a w210 300td, what would be the first thing to do to reach higher power figures, the best budget mod that also gives the most power? You guys got me deep into diesels!. Update, i now own a w210 with an om606.962.

Is this a viable swap for an om603 W124? It looks like it could work if the transmission is short enough to leave room for the selector to be placed in the right area.

I saw you a yellow om606 with supercharge, Could you speak a little bit about the diferences between supercharge and turbocharge, in that engine... why you recomend one over the other

There's a Wikipedia article about the ZF S6-53 transmission, it has the ratios of the petrol and diesel variant on there.

I see this OM 606 in front of a manual box on one of our 4x4s What kits are you making for an American or foreign tranny with a compatible transfer case? Obviously a divorce transfer case would give more options (including a 300 bmw series) providing the rear nose piece was not too long.

Yes it will fit m103 also. Remember you will need an external trigger as our flywheels are for mechanical, if you want to use original auto flex plate as a trigger then you will need “flex plate” version and may need to move dowel hole.

i have a 85 turbo 123 and it runs weird it will run fin and run great the out of the blue sounds like its down a cylinder and wants to die anyone have any idea what it could be
