YES, I know the original date/year was 2002. YES, I fucked up and put 2022 because I was high/drunk. NO, I'm not changing/updating it because IDGAF... The correct dates are above in the description. Enjoy!
Hey that’s what I figured and Shit…. I’m on your side. When your high and drunk this episode aired 2022 point blank idky people giving you hell. KEEP ON ROCKING IN THE FREE WORLD!
@@mikepowers5288 Getting the dosage just right is difficult and dangerous and unforgiving. Factor in that you build a resistance with regular use so to get the same effect you have to up the consumption and then if you go cold turkey, what was once a mild high becomes lethal. A recipe for disaster.
Sir, what a treasure we had in Michael K Williams, an actor who played every role to his utmost abilities. May he truly rest in peace 🙏. 🙏 😢gone too soon. Ijs 💯 💯 💯
"thats if I happen to be constabulatin like y'all" Omar had a unique way with words. Hes from the streets but you know that if he had better opportunities he'd probably be a lawyer or something smart
@@JoshuaKerwoodit’s all apart of the game. Like yeah he snitched but at the end of the day they’re all trying to play chess here and be a step ahead of their competition or in Omar’s case stay one step ahead of his enemies because if they do catch him he’s a dead man. Only a few of the characters in this show didn’t actually understand the game and how it’s played but Omar is easily one of the best players this early in the series. Those same characters who didn’t understand the game often got themselves killed. And even the cops I think they knew what they were dealing with when it came to Omar and were willing to take anything he wanted to give. To me it’s really not that surprising to me that he would snitch, mcnulty said it himself they have a mutual problem when it came to Avon and both expect to gain from a slight exchange of info. Plus it’s not like Omar’s got a gang or crew he needs to be loyal too, he’s basically a one man army after Brandon is killed.
@@SergioMendoza760these aren't probably from the environment we're from , there's wad no codes it's only survival now that doses apply to everyone in it , but now and even during this time everybody is cutthroat
Omar was a King...look at how he moved anything he wanted to do he did...how a man with all them enemies and powerful enemies too can just take a morning stroll through the ghetto with his morning robe on to pick up cereal and stroll back home. His name was so legendary that some random dropped drugs down to him while he was just walking by.
If I leave here tomorrow, would you still remember me? For I must be traveling on now 'Cause there's too many places I've got to see But, if I stay here with you, girl Things just couldn't be the same 'Cause, I'm as free as a bird now And this bird you cannot change, oh-oh-oh-oh-oh And the bird you cannot change And this bird you cannot change Lord knows I can't change Bye-bye, baby, it's been a sweet love, yeah, yeah Though this feeling I can't change But, please, don't take it so badly, 'cause Lord knows I'm to blame But, if I stay here with you, girl Things just couldn't be the same 'Cause, I'm as free as a bird now And this bird you'll never change, oh-oh-oh-oh-oh And the bird you cannot change And this bird you cannot change Lord knows I can't change Lord, help me, I can't change Lord, I can't change Won't you fly high, free bird, yeah?
Even if they believed Bey they have no evidence he did it while they do have a conviction on Bird. If they could prove Bey did it it is still extremely hard to get the convicted guy out of jail.
Bubbles was one of the smartest dudes on the show, no doubt. dumb ppl would just see him as a dumb worthless junkie. but he was hella smart, and he knew how to manipulate EVERYONE even the cops. Bubbles was my hero back in the day cuz he was a good hearted junkie. I was a dumb, vicious ruthless jack boy hooked on Oxy(real oxy, I started in 02 when 80mg green monsters was only 10 a pop😅) and Bubbles reminded me of myself back in the day , besides the while being homeless thing, but a LOT else about him was me, all day e'rry day.
I think the second scene was more gathering intelligence than snitching. He read that board and found everyone he had to off for Brandon's death. The last scene Freeman was reliving his cast days from The Corner. I like how Simon threw that in there.
The end of the first scene, Omar let's them know how deep his knowledge is. Calls out Bubbles as their snitch. Power move and the look on McNulty's face respects that
I drove by this cemetery on Moravia one day & saw Prop Joe walking up the street carrying a suit ..must’ve just wrapped up shooting or about to begin 🤷🏽♂️ #BMORE
Was at work thinking of the "constablatin' like y'all" line and knew it was that time of the year again to binge watch the wire clips on RU-vid... Props for putting these together and uploading them
@@TheWireUni don't trip over them smartass airing date comments lol. But if u ever do edit n reupload could u also add the witness stand courtroom scene as well as bird yelling at Omar in the court hallways? Makes it even better 😂
I felt that. I’ve seen this show about 59 times …….. and hear I am again. Just started season 3 ….. again. This will be probably the 12 or 13th time I’ve watched it smh. Just never gets old. Wish they would do a modern times wire in Baltimore.
There ain’t no rules, you don’t snitch on friends but on enemies HELL YEAH !! I’m snitching, Eff this stupid rules, Ninjas be out here killing fools and they be talking bout i ain’t no snitch, I ain’t no rat, bet ya a bullet to the head gone change your mind on all that 🔥💯FACTS
They later explained that bird yelled something to get him to turn around and shot him there. Omar lied he later admitted he never seen bird do it. Js wanted him locked up for killing Brandon. But a lady seen bird do it
He knows too much about Bird for it to have been from watching/stakeouts. I wonder if it's implied Omar and Bird used to have a more "personal" relationship that didn't end well but they just never say it and nobody noticed the subtle hints.
Enemies in jail. Bird was likely the one yo cut his face. The intimate thing shows how sick your generation has become mentally. No subtle hints smh. Unreal how messed up yall are
@@lordoffaiyum9727 The Wire is a show of subtle hints. I don't agree with the dudes theory because I don't think Omar would've ever liked Bird, but it's nothing to do with our generations. Weird comment
God i love this show...thank you for the clips!!! Omar on how to find Byrd..."if I was constablatin like y'all" i'd go....brilliant...n Bupps putting the red hat on the targets...priceless.. thank you!
@@lightfeather9953 That's definitely snitching.. they also let him walk on a murder and another attempted murder. And of course numerous armed robberies and aggravated assaults.
How did Freeman get away with bottling him? Watching this clip again, it's a great set up, but didn't he just bottle him in the face wtf? How does he explain that to Daniels etc?
This was right around 9/11, so no body cameras or cell phones recording stuff. That means Freeman didn't get away with anything, Bird tripped while being apprehended and did that to himself by falling down.
@@TheWireUnimaybe not but he definitely saw something in Bird that made him think twice. Omar went after EVERY single hustler, shooter and king in the series with violence, except Bird. Omar even warned the police to 'be more careful when dealing with Bird'.
There are so many good actors in this show. The real crime however is drug prohibition. Either the country does not learn mistakes or they know it is a mistake but too many are "in the game" the politicians, the police, the jail system etc etc. Simple solution is to decriminalize, educate and rehab those few who are addicted-fact is legal or not, people will abuse whatever gets them out of their mind. At least MJ is becoming legal.
@@sultantouma5437 Way different culture in Singapore and a much smaller area to police. We have too many ports, borders, and most importantly too much demand to ever replicate their policy

@@simmonsmichael317 that’s disgusting I can’t lying or not he gave a man life that’s a snitch from when he snitched I stopped respecting him he was still dangerous but a straight up dangerous snitch
Dude grow up and stop acting street when you're not. You get criminals who kill civilians iff the streets. This is why I don't live exclusively around my ppl because they think ignorant like you. You'll rather a killer be on the street to kill again than get justice for a innocent victim. I'm glad my sons don't think ignorant af like you. Grow up my guy, this is a damn tv show.
@dg1593 .. Stringer told on Avon to get him out the way because he was bad for business!! He was worrying about going to war with Marlo and it was fuccing up the money!!
@@BigA678 yea he only became a snitch because they killed his boyfriend he should’ve tool up and went to war. He was stealing there package and etc stuff but mad when they killed his boyfriend is crazy
