His collection is always changing. He can’t stick with any watches for any appreciable amount of time because he hates himself and isn’t comfortable with who he is and the constant changing of watches reflects that. I would bet his personal life is a train wreck
I have both . The Seamaster 300 professional I have is the 43mm ceramic case titanium bezel versions. The Seamaster 300 heritage is the black sanwich dial one .
If you own a Rolex Sub or Sea dweller then putting on the SMP 300 with the 5 link bracelet and non taper, then unfortunately the Omega does feel a bit less refined. However the bracelet is its thing, its part of its look and heritage. and if you really hate the bracelet then you can buy Omega's Milanese mesh strap or the rubber, both of which are excellent ( i have my SMP300 on the mesh and its great). I can never understand why so many people rant about the HE valve or the scalloped bezel, or the bracelet - these are its unique features. Why do they want an Omega to look like a Submariner? Just buy the Sub.... i like that the SMP has those features it makes it so distinguishable
I have the SMP diver 300/m in black wave dial. The bracelet is a hunk of metal even on my big old 8.3 incher. So I’m thinking about getting the OEM rubber strap.
Changing anything on these two watches will put them in price brackets i dontbwant to be.Both watches are beautiful,reason i bought the Seamaster diver 300 blue and saving up for the Seamaster 300 next.
10:23 I think you should buy it and keep it. Looks good on your wrist. While I love the sub, on your wrist , this 300 looks better. Dont know if its the vintage vibes or not. Maybe the slimmer bezel. I dunno, the shape of the watch along with that bracelet just compliments your wrist shape more .
I've been eyeing this exact blue Seamaster Heritage for c. 2 years now, and on a recent trip I've made a mistake of trying one on at an Omega boutique. Why a mistake? Can't stop thinking about it every day ever since ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
So ironic the vintage is more modern in wearability and function than SMP. Have SMP current iteration in Black. Think I would go Planet O over 300 Vintage.
Can you just imagine what increase in sales Omega would get if they took that hideous Helium escape valve off the 300 ??? !!! Whys they don't try it has got to be the work of a hard head somewhere.
One warning: Exquisite Timepieces is sending lots of secondhand and even new watches on tour to YT’ers like Marc hete and Random Rob. That realize that those watches are being handled,used and abused all the time. And the YT’ers are functioning as sales reps for Exquisite Timepieces.
