We all feel sadden by the fact the Bruce Lee died at just the age of 32, but in truth this man has and will continue to outlive us mere mortals, rarely a year goes by when I was growing up was there not a movie, a documentary, a remake or a TV soapie of some sort featuring Bruce Lee, then with the advent of the internet came all the Bruce Lee memes, then the IP Man movies......Bruce lee is immortal

Thanks for making this video. As a Kung Fu instructor I was massively inspired by Bruce Lee. I've been to Hong Kong several times and it has become one of my favorite cities. I wish this video existed when I was going there about 8 and 10 years ago, I would have been able to visit some of these iconic locations. At the time I thought filming was mostly done at the studios so I never even made the effort to see if they did exist. At least I took a picture infant of the Bruce Lee statue on the Hong Kong Walk of Fame. Cheers!

In my 60’s today, growing up in Torrance CA, Bruce Lee was a big influence in my life. I even joined the FKA in 1975, Jerry Poteet, Richard Bustillo rotated as instructors for the kids class and of course Dan Inosanto. So yes, Bruce Lee was influential in my life. Missed but not forgotten. RIP

J'ai fait hong Kong 🇭🇰 deux fois pour visiter les différents lieux où Bruce Lee à été et j'ai eu la chance de pouvoir voir l'exposition sur Bruce Lee au hong Kong héritage muséum et J'ai été aussi en Thaïlande 🇹🇭 dans la maison du film big boss à pak chong, ce sont des moines qui vivent dans le domaine. 🙏🏻☯️❤️🇨🇵

Great video : fun fact : The movie title "The Chinese Connection" was a marketing strategy based on the success of another movie from the same year (1971) " The French Connection " ( starring Gene Hackman ) ! ❤🙏🇬🇧

Thanks for a very interesting video. I really like the overlay of the photos. The reason for the changes of the titles for Bruce's first two films was for the distribution of The Big Boss in America, due to the drug smuggling, "The Chinese Connection" title could cash in on the French Connection. But both films arrived together and the canisters got accidently swapped.

When I was younger I saw the original cut of Fist of Fury. There was a guy who jumped out of a black van he started talking to Bruce Lee however it was not part of the script the two guys fought and he tried to drown Bruce Lee and muddy water Bruce Lee pretended like he was dead and he jumped up smashing the guy in the chest doing that yelled at he always do. Where is that footage because Bruce Lee smash the camera he was very upset about that this happening during filming.

Thanks. Hard to believe the city just didn't care, although it must be said that since having been a love hotel the house hardly resembled Bruce's original house.

I think maybe the number of rooms did not change that much, it's mostly the house facade, which used to be all glass, which was replaced by concrete wall for maximum privacy. And his lovely zen garden that became onsite parking lot.

In Enter The Dragon, down at the beach where Bruce Lee arrives from the boat. There is a small house there, every location video have this small jouse or cabin. I cant remember it from the film, do you know why everybody film that house?

The exterior of the restaurant was filmed at Via Borgognona 29 in Rome. The interior and back alley fight was done in Golden Harvest Studio.

Please, In the way of the dragon, do you have the exact address of the ending scene ? The one where Bruce is walking alone. I can't find which cemetery it is. (Verano ? Non catholic ? ...)

Me neither. The only 'abandoned house' I can think of was Bruce's own house in Hong Kong, but that has been demolished by now.

That was a studio set. They used to have a permanent shanty town set behind Golden Harvest Studios and that is where they filmed that scene.

What is the net worth of Bruce Lee today ? I've found here and there that was 10 millions $ at his death around 80 millions $ in 2024 Which is still ridiculous.

There is no Way of the Dragon in U.S. It's called Return of the Dragon, mainly because it was released after Enter the Dragon even though it was made before that film. What determines the actual name of a movie is what the marketing department decides upon. That's where the money and promotional efforts are spent. It's not what some Bruce Lee purist says the movie should be called. Go back in time and look at all the posters, magazines and newspapers clips from the 70s and you'll have your answer. Stop rewriting history.
