Emma has her father's hair color and her mother's chin, cheek bones, and white skin. When i first saw once upon a time, there was a minute when i thought that snow white was Jennifer Morrison in a black wig.
I thought the same! when the first promos of the show appears, and i watch one where you see Regina as the Evil Queen and in the real world, saying "if is the last thing i do" to snow white and in the real world to Emma and i supose that Emma was snow white but in the real world she was blonde!
@@captiantimecanary6958 ya that’s true she has her mother chin cheek bone she has her father smile and her father eye color and Emma has blonde hair so I think David has blonde hair to because her mother has black hair until Emma broke a curse so her parents know it’s their daughter and Emma said so it’s true when snow said now I find my daughter
This scene is so cosy, Mary Margaret at home folding laundry Emma coming in chatting on the bed, MM offering to leave left overs for dinner! I love it !
I love how even though MM doesn't remember, she's still so motherly. "I'll leave you leftovers..." This scene made me so sad. Why didn't she just remember!?
Because of the evil queen did that so they can't find their daughter because when Emma was little David did remember and David gave snow white true love kiss to remember to and find Emma when she was little girl but they didn't get her out of that house since they wanted her to become the savior to save them and after a while they can't remember anymore until Emma broke a curse and found her parents
Erik Theodorsen I think a memory kind of did. But not like a full on flashback, so it was not obvious. It was a more subtle memory. The blanket jogged something in her, because of the way she mentioned it to Emma, and picked it up. It’s kind of like with David and the windmill. He remembered the windmill from his mother’s house, but the curse made him believe it was from Kathryn/Abigail. Side note, I kind of wish we could have seen more of Abigail and Frederick in Storeybrook. I think They could have been really good friends with Snowing.
A daughter giving her mother dating advice about being with her father that is summit u dont see everyday. But emma totally looks like mary margaret/ Snow White and David/ Charming
Favorite scene. The two actresses did an amazing job pulling off the mother daughter thing. It was so touching. I want them to figure it out this season but something wants it to be later only because it's Emma's whole goal, if she finds her parents then she's completed her whole mission and the interest fades... : ( But I can't wait to figure out how they do it, hopefully it's awesome.
one of my most favourites scenes...did anyone else hope, when they watched this episode for the first time that Mary Margaret would start remembering or it was only me?
I was hoping, and I think in a sense it did. The blanket clearly jogged something in her. It was like a Deja Vu type thing. But she thought she was crazy so she put it down really fast.
I wonder what it would be like for Snow to look back on this conversation and think about Emma’s comments once she realized they are her parents.... I know television pulls out the drama and new curses and such for ratings, but I wanted an episode or two of more poignant moments after the first curse broke. Snow excitedly telling Charming Emma still has her baby blanket and asking to see it. Emma showing them the box full of things from the childhood they missed. That sort of thing. And maybe another more comedic episode. Or a lot of the Once cast members have done RU-vid and Instagram chats with each other since quarantine started-I wish they’d do a miniseries as their characters. A play on reaction videos, but “Hook reacts to Disney’s Captain Hook,” etc. I want to know how each of them responded to their pop culture version.
i remember watching episode two when i still wasn't sure where the show was going... i thought it was kind of a weird call to have two leading ladies look so alike, there were even moments where i was trying to figure out if they were the same actress ( i did not pay attention to opening credits at the time).....Then when i realized they were mother and daughter (i had not seen the pilot yet and i honestly thought there was a chance they were gonna keep both storylines separate) it all made sens
I love that they are so much like mother and daughter in this scene! At first I was wondering if they would be able to pull it off, but they really have! It's awesome!
I HAVE watched the show I KNOW Emma is her daughter. I'm just am REPLYING to other people's comments about that in Season 1 of the show (which this clip is from) that MM and David should have had a blood test. I'm saying that since no one has aged in the last 28 years (and in the last 10 only Henry has).Even IF they had blood done,MM/David would more likely believe that Emma would be their share half-sister then their daughter since they are all around the same age due to the curse not aging.
Emma - Making it hard to look??? Oh PLEASE. Wanna talk about looking??? Look at her face, and then yours, and then David's. It's not that hard. And to think Henry's the only one who noticed... And Mary Margaret - your CHIN??? THAT'S IT?!?! Have you looked in a mirror lately??? (NOT a reference to Sidney... XP)
Mary Margaret always had this familiarity with Emma that she couldn't explain and my guess is in the same way she felt like she had met Emma before in the pilot, she felt like she had seen that blanket before and sometimes scent is the best way to recall an old memory. And after the conversation they just had where MM finds out, according to Henry's theory, that Emma is actually her daughter, I think for a brief moment she was considering it...which is why she smelled the blanket. So if you look at it from a mother/daughter perspective, her smelling the blanket makes sense. From strictly a roommate perspective...yeah it's a little weird...which I'm sure is what MM was thinking when she abruptly snapped herself out of it and put the blanket down. :P
hoping this scene/moment will be a topic of conversation once the curse is broken... they'll be like "do you remember that time... you said I had your chin..." xD also want another blanket and Snow scene when they get back to Storybrooke! it's the little things that are so so precious :)
Seriously! If I was Henry I'd be like, "Take a blood test! If I'm wrong, I'll never bring up the fairy tale stuff again!" They couldn't explain THAT away.
Yeah, but Henry's ten. He's not likely to think of DNA testing. Also, DNA testing is expensive so the adults were unlikely to agree to it just to humour him and they seemed to think the best thing for Henry was to let him indulge his fantasies until he grew out of them so they weren't really bent on proving him wrong. Also, the tests would probably have had to go through Storybrooke channels so Regina could simply have doctored the results like she did with the results of the DNA test on the heart found in Mary Margaret's jewelry box.
I "Get" that time WAS detained in storybrooke until Emma comes. But remember the only person who aged at all in the last 18 years (not counting the 10 years before) is Henry? So I was just pointing out to the other person (clois) who said to get "A blood/DNA test" that until the curse was broken that David/MM would/might believe that Emma was a shared half-sister and not their daughter since they are around the same ages (28)
You think it's conafusing now, but imagine if they both have more kids! If MM has another daughter now (we'll call her "Emily), and Emma has another Son (I'll make up the name "Harry", \Henry's brother), then Emily (emma's sister) would be Harry and Henry's Aunty, even though she would be younger or the same age as them lol.
If one was done, it would have been subject to rigging. I also seem to recall a paternity test was actually done in Season 7 with the older Henry, but that’s a different story.
The continuity when Emma is on the bed is so off every time it cuts to her. Her hands are on her stomach and her undershirt can't be seen, then her hands are by her side and her undershirt is out, then back to no undershirt and hands on stomach.
In which episode do emma and mm talk about one night stands because i do no recall? Do both of them discuss this or was it just mm who had the one night stand?
One thought I had : Emma was sent to the realm without magic the exact same day that she was born. I would think Snow White would show some signs of postpartum and thus know if she had a kid 🤔
Graham remembered everything after he kissed emma perhaps all Mary Margaret and David need is to kiss emma too.... LOL i'm just kidding it's kinda disgusting....
stupid, stupid CURSE !!! ARRRGGGHHHH !!! seriously ,in the book James has a scar , david got it too ! baby nam Emma ! blanket and so many other things ! why can't adult believe in magic ??
@moranna910 i thought the exact same thing. lol bur,i also thought it would be equally weird execution wise.then again, maybe the spell was weaker with graham,so it came back to him first? i dunno.
I love when Emma told Mary Margaret that she is the mother of Emma when Henry tells Emma that Mary and David is her parents but there real names is Snow White and Prince Charming and I love Mary face when Emma said to mary that she’s Snow White daughter that is Mary because she’s Snow White and Emma didn’t tell David that it’s his daughter only Mary Margaret until Emma broke the curse and they are reunited
@@hopemarshall2971 and i have 4 disney songs for emma the prince of égypte : All I Ever Wanted hercule : A Star Is Born Treasure Planet:i'm still here My Once Upon a Time: "disney Descendants 3
ok i love this show dont get me wrong but this entire time are we meant to believe mary margaret gave henry a book of stories that she never read. i mean she just gave henry a random book without scoping it out? should she have noticed a few of the original stories were tweaked like oh i donl;t know snow white had a kid that had a blanket that looks exactly like emmas
She probably just leafed through it enough to know it was a book of fairy tales. I doubt she read it thoroughly. What's weird is that Emma never took a close enough look at the book to notice just how much the characters in the illustrations look like the people in the town.
