@@lauraschoenborn3544 well she wanted to talk to her daughter and Emma doesn’t seem happy because she was abandoned for 28 years because her parents sent her away for 28 years and her parents are same age as Emma and she broke a curse and she found her parents when snow said now I find my daughter and Emma said so it’s true and they turn around to Emma and they looked at her and they hugged her and snow said you found us
One of my favorite scenes because it shows how similar Emma and David are. They have similar backgrounds so he understands. He knows if his dad came back he wouldn’t just forgive him because nothing can change the fact that he felt betrayed for years, and nothing can change the fact that for 28 years Emma only knew she was left on the side of a freeway. As Cory Mathews from Girl Meets World said “that kind of forgiveness, it doesn’t come so easy.”
They are both not the only ones who felt that way before they realized they were wrong about their own parents from the beginning (when the real villains, behind those dramas, Regina and Hook, were both responsible). Balefire went through the similar way with his dad, before he sees and realizes at long last that he never abandoned him but came back for him.
I agree withy you about Emma and David is more similar. Snow wants to continue where they left of and sees the world with pink glasses. Like she did with Regina's mother. Like everyone forgive like she does. Anyother person wont forgive David like that for example. I agree with Emma she was alone all her life for 30 years. No body loves anybpdy like a parent does and when your parent doesnt love you( who should be love you no question asked) or you thought that way you develop trust issues and more. somethings break and you cant fix that. you can make it better but cant fix. Like breaking a cure, like magic she wants to make ammends.
no its not that david doesnt want a relationship as much as snow its just he is more understanding whereas snow is pushy and he knows it. he knows his daughter more than snow@@youtuber2646
@@JamesNYCGuy3 Yeah, but she had time to adjust to it before hand, she already _knew_ about Katherine/Abigail. I've said before that if Snow found out by surprise that David had been with, say, Red, or Cinderella, or (far worse) Regina, during the Curse, I'd bet she'd be a lot less relaxed about things!
True, but he was caught by surprise, where Snow already knew about Katherine and had had time to adjust. If Snow suddenly found here that David had been with, say, Red, or Regina, under the curse, with no warning, I'll bet she'd freak out too.
I'm so glad I convinced my wife to watch this. It's hilarious how she thinks my shows are stupid until she gets into them and then is literally cussing at the screen when something is going wrong.
I love that for you! Makes me happy knowing I'm not the only grown man who loves the show! Always feels like a rare blessing. (Apologies if I just assumed your gender.)
eh the first half of season 3 was so slow and boring. The dark one arc was also the absolute worst in season 5. The arcs were hit and miss, season 6 was excellent though and it should've ended there.
OneAndOnlySound season 3 was kinda boring, the underworld thing in season 5 was rlly good, at first u didn’t like the else storyline in season 4 but now it’s actually pretty good, season 6 and season 1 we’re by far the best, season 3 also wasnt bad and there was a lot of Regina coming to the good side, if you think about it your first thought would be season 7 was bad but if you watch it again, it’s actually pretty good. Having Emma, snow, and David would’ve been better but
I think the show is good but I get annoyed when it’s constant problems. There are plenty of drama shows that give a few episodes of happiness and normalcy to both the characters and the audience. When well written, it isn’t boring. Shows like Buffy and Charmed (the original) had what some call filler episodes to give bit of a break and reward after or sometimes before big trouble. It just gets old when there isn’t enough of a break, like what’s the point.
No, Emma, you wouldn’t have been together. That was part of the curse. Do you remember David being in a coma? Him being engaged to someone else? He and Snow weren’t together in Storybrooke, and you wouldn’t have been with them.
Kolbe Disselkamp Yes, but since Emma's the Savior, who's to say that the curse would affect her fully? I believe that some things would have been different for her
Oh, it would have been much worse than that. In the episode that described the events leading up to the curse, we get to see the reasoning as to why her parents sent her away. As the curse was approaching, Regina had sent her knights ahead to attempt to kill Emma before Charming could get her to the wardrobe. So technically, Emma wouldn't have even made it to Storybrooke, cursed or not.
Grace-Marie Strong well if snow and charming weren't planning on sending her, the wardrobe wouldn't exist and regina wouldn't have to worry about Emma escaping, so the guards wouldn't have been sent to kill Emma since there was no point. Regina could've stuck with plan which was cursing the whole family, including Emma, making sure she doesn't remember anything so that the curse isn't broken.
Even though I felt the show got boring later on during season 4 one of the things I like is how Emma’s actress looks like she could really be their daughter it’s the facial futures she looks like Snow but also looks like David in a way too with the blonde hair and the way she acts is very similar to Charming it’s just amazing how they nailed this
Yyaasss agreed. They really chose the perfect actors to play on their aesthetics and similarities. Emma had Snow's face shape and eye color and David's hair color and stubbornly tough demeanor. Snow was raised pampered and surrounded by royalty so Emma and David can't really relate to that. They were both hard knocks and poor during their early years... Emma truly had the best of both dynamic backgrounds from her parents.
I have this odd idea about what would have been if they never put Emma in the wardrobe. Regina would have been Emma's mother, now before anyone says 'but she's the saviour it wouldn't have worked...' listen. Regina wanted Snow to suffer by any means necessary. You really think she wouldn't have raised the saviour just out of spite? And the more you think about it, the more it makes sense. The savior was to stop Regina's curse, who's to say that Regina wouldn't have told Emma about the curse and Emma (the child she raised mind you.) Emma could have simply asked her to put a stop to it.
@@pmparda Actually Emma would have grown. She is the product of true love, which is pure magic. With her being a savior to boot she would be strong enough to continue growing. One downside though is that she wouldn't have Henry😭. But, with how fate is, likely chance Henry would still be created, I just don't know-how 😂.
Regina went to Snow's castle with the intention of killing Emma which she told Rumple upon learning of Emma's existence and her role. If she didn't then it's possible she could have raised her more likely she would have subjected her to alot of pain.
As much as I love this scene, I can't help but think that if they didn't put Emma in the wardrobe I'm like 98% sure Regina would have killed her as a baby
@@shermanlee4037 She would've not died. She would've ended up in Storybrooke just like everybody else. And, as she said, atleast they would've been all together.
@@kerol5905 Sigh. NO. Whether we like it or hate it, if they had not sent baby Emma away, _Regina would have murdered her_ . That's not debatable. It's canon. Regina had learned that Emma was a threat to her curse and had set out to kill the baby. She and her troops very nearly _succeeded_ in killing Emma. David saved his daughter's life by getting her into that wardrobe, just _barely_ in time, and he almost died himself doing it. Emma was either going to grow up alone and one her own...or she was not going to grow up at all. Those were the only choices.
@@kerol5905 regina came to murder emma when the curse was being cast. The only thing that saved her was the wardrobe. Soi think she should thank them that they saved her life
@@youtuber2646 And let her live a miserable life, where she ends up in several foster care homes and then ending up pregnant in prison and having to give her child up for adoption. Also heartbroken because the love of her life pretty much abbandoned her and framed her.
Wake up Emma You would not have been with your parents if you were cursed, Regina would have killed you Come on, your parents saved your life, cut them some slack
To be fair to Emma, she's still in something like a state of _shock_ . She just found out that Snow White and Charming are real people, and her actual parents...who are physically about 2 years older than she is. She's just found out that magic is real, that fairy tales are based in fact, she's still processing it all and it hasn't had time to fully sink in.
I mean, if Regina hadn't killed Emma- a cursed Emma would have been a baby and away from her parents forever. I mean, Regina (back then) would have probably reveled in Snow/Mary Margaret watching someone else with Emma, and never knowing her baby. Either way was so tragic and why I'd say Season Seven was necessary for Regina's final redemption from causing pain like this to going full circle.
Snow: but if we hadn’t sent u away then u would have been cursed too Emma: but we would have been together Me: but u wouldn’t have had henry and u wouldn’t have known each other anyways because everyone didn’t know each other. David wasn’t with Snow so if u were in the curse u would still be an orphan and it would have been the same as not being affected by the curse
U are missing the point. Emma grew alone. No matter what they failed as parents. They had the chance to find emma while she was young and threw it away
If they didn’t put her threw the wardrobe Emma would have died. It’s the whole reason why David ended in a coma when he got to StoryBrooke, he almost died protecting her as long as he could. Regina sent her guards to kill Emma because she knew Emma could mess with her plans.
Loved Once Upon a Time, but it was also super super annoying. “We sent you away so you’d have your best chance” 😄 Well that’s a lie. They sent her away so she’d come back and break the curse. That was her destiny and she had no choice in it.
They would’nt have been together. Regina made it so that no one would get their happy ending. Snow would probably be a single mom and Emma would be stuck as a baby
@@MoJones9919 you’re right, I hadn’t thought that. Henry wouldn’t have been born. And in many cases parents weren’t with their own Children so Emma would probably be someone else’s baby but Snow sees her everyday.
If David (her dad) hadn’t put her in the wardrobe as a newborn then it’s likely that she would have either been killed by Regina’s evil guards or Regina herself 🤷🏼♀️ If Regina decided NOT to kill baby Emma, then I doubt that she would have been allowed to stay with either of her parents. I mean hello does she not remember that during the curse Regina kept her parents apart?! 🤦♀️
She never would have aged. She literally would have been an infant for the rest of eternity, and I don’t think she would want that. Also, they wouldn’t have been together. Snow and David were separated, so she would be too, just like Hansel and Gretel couldn’t be with their dad and Jefferson couldn’t be with his daughter.
Imagine finding out that your parents who gave you up when you were young and caused you to be an orphan most of your life were trapped in a town where they never aged, and then you finally find them and they're around the same age as you 😅
Something to think about too is that the curse causes time to stand still. So, had the Charmings not put Emma in the wardrobe, she could've been a 1 day old baby for god knows how long.
Who else like snow as mary margret more best friend/mom goal but. I mean dont you guys think thing changed i feel mary marygret is funer and snow is overprotective and gets mad. Of emma for no reason it my option
No she doesn't. her and Emma have such a great relationship especially in season six. They became so close after Emma started calling them mom and dad.
"We would have been cursed but we would have been together" Emma is WRONG about that. Emma would have either died by the Queen's henchmen or had her memories and alternate life torn apart in Storybrooke just like what the Queen did to Mary Margaret and David. Having your memories wiped away and still being near the person is not 'being together', she would have been as alone in her life as she was in the real world only the curse never would have been broken.
Emma says they would have been together but that is not true... Look at David and Snow for example: the curse made Snow into a teacher and David was an unknown guy in the hospital in a coma and Snow didn't even remembered him... If the curse could separate the two of them, if Emma stayed for sure she would have been a baby right now and she would have been in the hospital or some orphanage...
And not only that but she would have gotten cursed, she would have been stuck in storybrook as well just like the rest of them which would mean no Henry
Not ONLY only that, but Emma wouldn’t even be there. Regina knew about Emma and sent her Guards to kill baby Emma, it’s why David was in a Coma when he went to StoryBrooke, he very nearly died fighting off the guards trying to keep Emma safe and give her more time.
She'd be _dead_ . Regina was getting ready to murder baby Emma when David got her into the portal, just barely in time. It was life as an orphan or no life at all, literally, for Emma.
Reginawould have killed her!!! Dont u remember? Rumple told her about the baby and regina went to kill her but she was too late, snowinghad already saved emma.
Let’s be real Regina would NOT have let snow and charming even come close to Emma if she was cursed with them! And Henry wouldn’t have been born and she would be an infant!
I kind of see Emma's point, yes she gave Henry up, but she was in jail with no money or plan when she got out. Her choices were all on her, of course, but if she had a way to support herself and Henry then she probably would have kept him. If Snow had kept Emma then the there was still a possibility that they wouldn't be together being that the curse separated David and Snow despite them being in the same town and if Emma were caught up in it as a baby she may have been adopted by someone in town, even Regina.
It still wasn't possible. Until 3x11 gold could see into the future and it had to become like this. Anyways the show started to crumble down after Cora died in 2x16. And yes season 3A was still good but just until 3x11. Then the series went anywhere every 11 episodes and didn't care anymore about good writing...
@@gwill3019 Season 7 was kinda shit. I wish the show would have ended at season 6, it was like the perfect ending, yet they dragged it out with completely different characters (and only one or two familiar actors.) I mean it was just annoying to me. I gave up on Season 7 not even half way and just watched the last episode which was the only really good episode from it, but I still think Season 6 ending was literally a story book ending and should have stayed that way.
Emma regina would have killed u!!! She was in the castle to kill u but snowing pretected u and emma got away. And plus even if emma survived still they wouldnt have ended up together and then there would be no saviour and no one would have ever remembered who they are and time would havebeen frozen and emma would have been stuck as a child FOREVER!! since no growths happen in curse. Did u want to be a baby forever emma?
ofcourse it would have, emma was born to break it which means it was destined for her to escape the curse and break it. it dosent mean that if she was cursed it wouldnt have affected her, tho is snow and charming hadnt sent emma through the portal then regina would have killed her so nothing woud have happened.@@ThePrincessCH
When emma says we would have been together not necessarily regina knew who she was she a.) Would have killed her or b.) Cursed her as well without her parents still or c.) As the ultimate revenge against snow raised her as her own im rewatching for the 4th time
David getting upset about Snow having a one-night stand with Whale while she was cursed, while he was in a whole marriage, definitely having sex with his wife because at one point she thought she might be pregnant is wild. how can you get upset?
