WHM: Merge Cure 1 and Cure 2 and remove that 15% free cure trait. This removes some jank that comes from the changes over the years and makes it easier when syncing down.

holy christ freecure needs to be purged asap, i still occasionally encounter sprouts getting entrapped by that trait and not all of them heed me when i advise them to just abandon Cure 1

One thing I've seen suggested is make Freecure have a chance to proc off of Glare casts. That way, you can deal damage and have a chance at a free-instant Cure 2 to weave. Someone made this suggestion based loosely on Holy Priest from WoW, and I kind of like the idea of it. Not sure how often it'd be used since it would be a DPS loss sorta, but it would at least proc more often than a 15% chance off of freakin' CURE ONE since I actually USE Glare.

Yes this. 100% yes please (for astro too while your at it). The only other change I would want is to consolidate some of the buttons. I'm worried for Dawntrail that I'm going to need a 4th bar.

Getting a low level dungeon is terrifying, because Cure 1 does not live on my bar, and 9 out of 10, I have to scramble to get it as the tank gets dangerously close to death.

For Summoner: add more summons. Instead of summoning I/T/G again after Phoenix let us summon Shiva,Ramuh and Odin, just spice it up.

Would be cool if you had a ninjutsus equivalent that lets you pick your summons. Still gets 3 between Phoenix and bahamut, but let's you pick between different summons for different uses.

As an RDM main my main two wishes for RDMs are: if the cast for Verfire/Verstone is already started you get to cast it even if the proc expired during the cast. Secondly, casting vercure and rez should not break at least the Verholy/Verflare - Resolution combo.

The amount of times Verfire/Verstone stops casting because the proc expired this savage tier was substantially irritating omg. I LOVE overall all the things they did for RDM between ShB to EW (finisher spells being aoe for pack clearing, acceleration becoming a buff that guarantees your proc, etc). They can still clean it up juust a bit. Though I will be enjoying the new caster job plenty hopefully haha

Increasing the black and white mana for each cast would also be nice imo. It's so tiring and tedious to build both up every single time. Maybe can balance it out with lower potency a bit.

​@@doomoftheend Exactly this. Redmage looks like a DPS, plays like a DPS but has the lowest DPS of all the support classes (Dancer, Summoner etc.) We don't even have enough utility to cover fot that. Past the initial raid progressions we are a wasted spot in a raid that could be replaced for something better. I want to be good for the whole xpack.

Definitely agree on your take of Sprint not removing RDM's Dualcast. I'd also expand it so Sprint does not screw NIN's Ninjutsu.

Every job in the game: if there is an action that cannot be executed unless you press a cooldown first (ikishoten and ogi namikiri, flourish and starfall dance, fan dance 4 and devilment etc etc. That cooldown should turn into the action. That would save an insane amount of button space. This is already the case with a few skills like phantom kamaitachi but this should be the case across the board

You say that, but I genuinely want them to move geirskogul and nastrond to different buttons. I want to see the 30s cd for geirskogul and not have it obfuscated by nastrond being on "cd"

@@cynicalmanatee 30s cooldowns may be a bit much, but for 1/2 minute abilities having a secondary greyed out button you only get to press once per 2m eating up a bar slot is pain (ESPECIALLY on jobs with 2 or more of them, like DNC). a better comparison for drg would be if Nastrong could only be cast once, and only within 10 seconds of the empowered Geirskogul, in that case the original button would be back and you could see your CD before it was done, as any 1/2 min cd proc skill would. but also the cooldown of Geirskogul will always be the time left on the 30s job gauge, you should never not know how long is left even when the button is overlayed.

Stormblood DRK was peak. Abyssal Drain had no cooldown, used MP, and if you used Dark Arts > Abyssal Drain you could get back A LOT of HP. Then you had Quietus and Delirium for MP management and you were even more unkillable than WAR is now in huge pulls.

RE: DRK and Abyssal Drain. I'd replace Enhanced Unmend with a trait that reduces AD cooldown by "x" whenever you use Stalwart Soul/Quietus. Keeps its use for AoE situations and can be kind of bursty since Delirium might give you an entire extra use on its own.

God whenever I saw Enhanced Unmend I couldn’t help but wonder what the devs were thinking with that. Maybe it Unmend became a spammabe OGCD that you can weave for free in your GCDs, sure. But I just think this is as bad as Living Shadow getting more damage and being able to use Shadowbringer (as if it wouldn’t have known that when you reach level 90).

give DRK a trait that makes Bloodspiller heal you like the way Bloodwhetting from war heals on ws. Be super nice. Souleater already heals more than storms path and gnb. QOL changes would like to see is less animation lock on plunge and have salt and darkness auto fire at the end of salted earth duration if you didn't already use it. Rarely forget to use it but its still a pain when you're trying to fit other things in your burst window and you realize you didn't hit it with 1 sec left.

I reckon healing on TBN when it breaks or expires, and healing on edge/flood of shadow. Would give them a pretty significant amount of sustain during their bursts in similar fashion to paladin's magic phase, and the double dip of the TBN heal into free edge/flood heal would go a long way to equalizing it with the other tanks' short cd's.

For Black Mage, my one mostly thought of as a funny joke but actually that could be kinda sick would be something to the tune of when you set down Ley Lines you get an extra buff which allows your Ley Lines to move with you a single time when you Aetherial Manipulation, provided you are in your Ley Lines when you do it. Maybe you got a rough placement initially, maybe you were good but suddenly need to dodge mechanics? You get one chance to adjust without being bummed about it

Just make it like Salt and Darkness. Ley Lines becomes Shift Ley Lines for one usage after deployment.

that does sound like a good change. it would make it easier if you got a Puddle AoE and you cant go back to yer lines. i know the solution now is "Just learn the fight 5head!" but it would help people prog a fight blind as Black Mage.

Forcing the movement of Ley Lines when using a different skill would be bad, giving you the chance to move them once on command would be good. But personally, I would really love if Ley Lines made you immune to knockback like Surecast. I dunno, it would just feel right.

For the jobs I really care about: PLD - PLEASE never get rid of the gauge, it's the best part of the job since you have "burst" mitigation. But Cover does need a rework. GNB - 4th cartridge slot, your combo generates 2, double down costs 1 cartridge. Fixes the horrible jank with downtime and drifting DD. SCH - Maybe make the fairy actions usable while casting, the same way positioning the fairy is? It'd make the job easier, but it's a little weird to me how you can move Eos while casting, but not give her commands. Would make the delay make more sense. SGE - Someone already commented it but AoE Kardia on Soteria is sick. AST - Royal Road/Sleeve Draw again could be really cool, but I think the button bloat around the card system should be cut down a bit too. DRG - Please don't remove the looping rotation ;-;

for pld the gauge currently works identically to a 2 charge system. so the gauge is basically meaningless on pld currently.

Dude I'm sorry I main gnb absolutely not if you are struggling that hard with youe cartridge slot you are fucking up your rotation really bad. You are most likely over spending on burst strike which you should only be using to prevent over capping of cartridges you should easily always have 1 cartridge ready for gnashing fang off cool down and you should easily always have 3 for your burst window Looking further into your wants you really just want the game to be easier the card system is your resource for ast healing is the easiest it's ever been so easy in fact you don't even need to heal anything other than gun breaker outside of savage and ultimate content you don't need to use fairy actions while casting if it's that much of a problem you need to get better at managing hp and your abilities likewise when it comes to healing if you need soteria for aoe healing while dpsing you and your team have massive issues managing avoiding attack or hp management as for the other two the job guages have been in the game since heavenwards they have no intention of removing it and all classes bar ranged physical dps and healers have looping rotations

For Dragoon, it has to be the Eye buff. It's so clunky to either A, manually target an ally quickly and then quickly snap back to boss whilst keeping our GCDs flowing well or B, using a macro that can just not work in combat at times. I'd love to see it work more like DNC/SGE where you pre-designate a party member with one skill and then they get the eye buffs from then on. Feel like this change would be fine considering we no longer have the visual tether to reinforce the lore that we're giving someone the benefit of our Eye.

i seperated it into two buttons. the regular cast if theres no other melee and i can be greedy, and a macro that targets the 2/3 in party list if there is a melee or in dungeons. gets rid of the head ache with a button swap. plus i have it sitting on my hotbar off to the side so its not in the way.

I want them to put Storm's Eye on the job gauge. It's the only buff we have to keep track of, just put it on the Beast Gauge like every other job that has a buff they need to keep up 100% of the time.

Monk is especially one I think is fun to try out at times, but I would honestly like some small visual somewhere outside the buff bar that I have an enhanced punch ready to go. Its probably one of those things I'd get used to if I played monk more admittedly, but I still kind of want it for learning too. I suppose I could just setup another hud that balloons the buff bar sort of how I have one with an increased debuff bar for raiding, but I do appreciate the amount of info I can gather from other job gauges so admittedly I still want it for more jobs...

@@ehko9989 All those classes have damage buffs baked in to their base rotation. you don't need a big counter to know that you're going to do your standard combo swapping. Warrior and Dark Knight have different mechanics where it's something you press every once in a while. It's something with flexibility baked in. For something like Black Mage, having the Enochian timer on the job guage makes sense since it's duration actively contributes to your moment to moment decision making, not the case with Dragoon, Monk, and Samurai's self buffs. Hell, Samurais buffs last so long that you never have to worry about them falling off unless the boss becomes untargetable for a long period of time while Meikyo is on CD.

I'd love a damaging way to utilize faerie gauge or even just an alternate way besides just fey union. At least in dungeons, you don't always need fey union and the gauge kinda rots.

Re: DRK sustain, give Salted Earth a lifesteal that heals the DRK for maybe 200 potency for each enemy being hit by the dot.

@@RicardoSantos-oz3uj This is a terrible take, as it stands right now DRK is just a worse WAR. It has no true job identity that truly differentiates it from WAR and its far squishier in every way. DRK needs the blood gauge completely removed and to run purely on mana and TBN needs to have no mana cost and have 10% mit on it with the shield. For Black Mage, I'd feel complete if Thunder DOT is a 30 second dot that stacks up to 1 minute like DOTs do with other jobs. If I can just refresh extra DOT time with sub 30 seconds remaining on the debuff, it will make choosing when to use my instant cast option less awkward and add more movement potential to the job.

I could be wrong, but I don't think most DoTs get to stack. SAM just gets a whole minute. MNK just gets a paltry 15s. Personal buffs like RPR's and WAR's get to stack.

@@grudger95 RPR gets all the nice things... I think, technically, RPR's thing is a personal buff on the damage they deal to the target so it gets to sidestep the DoT nerf despite being basically the same.

The faerie idea of pressing the button and the faerie does the thing needs to be applied to Living Shadow and Automaton Queen. Both have a long wind up before they start hitting

I've been playing Bard a lot this expansion and I totally agree with the suggestion to make a change to songs. However I think the much simpler change is to make songs useable anytime during downtime by making them not require a target. Of course you would need to make them unsuable outside of combat to aviod pre-pull memes (but that doesn't change the behaviour compared to a targeted skill anyway). Another possible change (though it is technically an addition): Introduce a recovery tool for your song rotation, something like monk's Celestial Revolution, a skill that you don't want to see in an ideal scenario but that saves you from being punished more that you already are. Specifically I would add a 4th song that is weaker than the ones we already have but that lets you fill a time you would otherwise go songless in, i.e. after a death. Bonus points if introduced at a low level (ARR or HW).

Give BRDs a song to cast for 6 seconds that reduces song cooldown by 30 seconds. Only really usable in downtime, but that way you can always have the same order of songs

I think removing Ifrit dash would make summoner worse. Ifrit dash is one of the few parts of the new summoner rotation that you need to put at least some thought into. More simplification is not what the job needs.

We have 2 buttons for Bahamut/Phoenix, but only 1 for Egis, just make the gap closer available on the second button and add a 2 charge limit to the gap closer and slam so you have to choose what you need to do when you use him.

I honestly am so glad you suggested that change for RDM, Haps. As a Red Mage main since 4.0, I have lost so many dualcast procs to this in dungeons and even mid combat if I needed to sprint out of a Nope Zone I flipped into.

Fellow DRG main here! The thing I'm looking forward to hoping be a thing for the rework, is having Life either at the start of the instance/pull or I'll be it a new button that gives us life window (however they end up doing Life of the Dragon windows now) so that way openers actually have more potency and they can feel like an actual job in phases like P2 DSR or P1 TOP. However the thing I'm most scared about, is that they kind of rework it into being like RPR. You said it in the video about jumps being on GCDs. At least the fun of DRG for me, is the amount of OGCDs in your rotation (yes it is bloated right now). however the one I think that it would work the best for is Stardiver, considering we've gotten shorter animation locks for all the jumps BESIDES Stardiver, I'm inclined to think that they're just gonna make it like Primal Rend. P.S please give us a personal, and make it before level 70. qwq

Can we just move our 7 part rotation to include both damage and dot + buff. Instead of making it a 14 button rotation? Reduce the duration of the buff and dot to 15 seconds and move potency from heaven's thrust to Fang and claw. We still need to juggle positioning. But we no longer need 9 gcd buttons and "difficult mechanics". DRG ogcd and even managing life windows is quite engaging already, I really don't think we need 9 different buttons for a basic rotation.

I would agree with that except Dragoons main thing is jump. As a Drg main if you tell me my jumps do no damage I will argue you have removed the identity from Dragoon and I don't think that's a good plan

For RDM there is nothing more frustrating then being in the middle of a Vefire/Veraero cast and the "ready" proc buff ends interrupting the cast. The window is very tight, but that's what makes it feel so awful when it happens. Depending on the latency I really have to consider if starting a cast at 3 seconds remaining is a good choice or to play it safe and cast jolt

I feel like the amount of times you wouldn't want to just press the dual then weave sprint are very little. if its in prog and you got caught by surprise, then dropping the gcd doesnt matter. I mean ya its jank but rly not the end of the world @@flyestnihilist9105

I would like to see more versatility with SCH’s fairy gauge. Buff the healing potency, or let you spend it for a stacking shield, or an aoe heal, or an aoe stacking shield.

Since sch is kind of bloated with buttons, I'd love to be able to use fairy gauge to fuel other skills - the ones on the fairy gauge atm are easily the ones I use least, even in savage I barely touch them, so I'd be fine with seeing them go. But a buff to gauge skills would also be good.

My idea for Anatman is to make it generate stacks of of new buff and when you get enough stacks they transform into a buff that guarantees a Critical Hit on you next Weaponskill. Really encourage players to find the right windows to set up these big crits after downtimes.

I genuinely think it could become a sort of cooldown dynamis burst for aoe or a small burst in st. In aoe I'd think it'd be cool to just STAND there and do huge aoe damage over time, but then it'd be useless in raids basically. You'd never wanna disalign just to stand still for a while. It could build up a dynamis bar from doing enough forbidden chakras or something, anyway.

As a scholar main I have to throw it out there. We need Sacred Soil untied from Aetherflow, and for faerie gauge to be useful again, so let's make sacred soil cost faerie gauge instead of aetherflow. They don't have to change potencies at all, and the faerie skills have already been improved to be more snappy. Could make a case for having Aetherpact be more snappy, buuuut the times where you'd actually use it are few and far between. Having to always put out 2 sacred soils every time we pop aetherflow severely limits the amount of healing scholar COULD be putting out. Those extra 2 aetherflow stacks could be used on a 2nd indom and an Excog. But because the mitigation on sacred soil is soooo valuable, we don't get the choice.

Problem with Fairie Gauge is we get it way later compared to Sacred Soil get fairie gauge at 70 but soil at 50. This would make the scholar feel terrible at lower levels. Also a lot of the time this will make it hard to place down early soils for defensive stuff since often you will dismiss your fairie as part of your opener meaning no fairie gauge till it gets back, meaning no soil. I agree that it would be nice to have soil no consume atherflow. If anything just give us 2 charges of soil and allow us to place them when needed on a 30 second cooldown instead would feel pretty nice. Also energy drain needs to not consume atherflow, or generate it like with summoner.

@@tegual While it would make 50-70 harder, what part of that section of the game actually requires you to use Soil? It's the end game that most people care about. And yes, you use dissipation in the opener, but unless you are popping dissipation first and then aetherflow, there's no reason why you wouldn't be able to change the opener to where you could Ruin II to double weave for a soil before popping Dissipation. It would really depend on how Square Enix goes about it. Not saying your points aren't valid, I just think they are not as bad of an issue as you might think that they are. I know I made a point about the mitigation being the most valuable part of the skill, but that doesn't really become the case until Shadowbringers. I think the only dungeon before that where you might feel the hurt without it would be Bardam's Mettle. One dungeon is not enough to say, oh we shouldn't make that change. The good thing here is that I'm seeing a lot of agreement about sacred soil still being tied to aetherflow is bad, and faerie gauge needing to have purpose again. There's several possible solutions to the dilemma, but I think I've done a good enough job explaining what makes my suggestion one of the most viable options.

As a "WHM main", I do agree with Rapture needing lower level. After doing UCOB in the past year, the lack of reliable aoe healing on the move was awful. Nael was fine because people didn't move as much, and I could do GCD heals after stopping, but things like Quickmarch I disliked until I started holding Assize for when I was moving in after the dives. During the first few days we were there, I'd try to run in and cast Medica or something and someone would die because they had low health and not getting healed. Either that or I had to hold and use Swiftcast specifically for that mechanic, which did break the next one. Blackfire. My coheal was SCH and he did Succor before we moved and Indom after the stack but I don't know if it was damage variance or whatever but we regularly had people dying to towers after if they didn't get a spot heal, so I started saving Swiftcast specifically for a Cure 3 to heal the stack damage. Tenstrike could be ass, depending on all of our starting locations. As we got better with placement (specifically people running further in to bait the cleaves, at least halfway, less people ended up dying to simple damage.

If we're talking simple stuff.... here're mine for the jobs I know the best: Redmage: You can only res 5 times per fight in savage or ultimate fights. So we can finally stop nerfing them just because of res. That's literally my only complaint. Redmage is perfect, just too weak. Dragoon: Eye Partner - you no longer need to target your allies midfight to apply Eye, you designate someone who gets eye when you use it at the start and it sticks throughout. White Mage: 2 charges of Assize.

For redmage, you could have manafication be responsible for allowing a raise, meaning that each manafication grants a rez charge Your DRG change is just not good. Theres enough cases where youd want to switch your eye partner throughout the fight and adding an extra button for it is just bloat.

Eye usage with a target macro is absolutely not a turnoff, and if you consider it to be, in my eyes youre just lazy. If you dont want to do targeting just make sure it always targets the 5th player in the party and boom there you go, problem solved. I dont really understand the obsessiom with the eye targeting system. You want to play optimally but dont like the eye targeting? If you liked optimization in the first place then you are just too lazy to optimize and expect things to be done for you. If you dont care about optimization, use a macro like any other normal person and play the job as you always have.

As a summoner main who still misses his dots, pet jank, ruin ii, and egi assaults, it's hard for me to think of something other than moving back. That said, the one thing that I genuinely enjoy about new summoner is how packed it is with non-ruin skills, and how downtime makes you have to do interesting things like timing your last two gcd's in a phase to be summon ifrit and crimson cyclone. So my suggestion is lean even more into the spoiled for choice aspect of summoner gcd's. Give us extra summons and make us have to choose what gcd's we throw away. Involve an aspect of having to choose between casted gcd's for damage and instant gcd's for movement. On top of all that, make the fight design not afraid to require choosing movement spells over casted, higher damage spells.

Honestly RDM needs a lot of changes because there's so many QoL issues that make it not fun. It's not just the being unable to raise during melee combo, but the OGCD drift caused by that is horrendous. It feels bad to have to choose between acceleration/swiftcast giving you uptime when you move, or forcibly correcting your OGCD drift for dualcast, and while it's easier to move with RDM than BLM, BLM mobility feels more useful and honestly better for uptime. That's insane. Speaking of Drift, why the hell is Manafication and Embolden 10 seconds apart? You basically need to either stagger the CDs which feels really bad to do, or you need to basically be able to time the fight and know if you're losing a melee combo or not by waiting...although that ALSO feels bad. Can Embolden PLEASE buff your own OGCDs? Come on. Can the stupid 5 mana spender have a use or be replaced? Like Black Mage's limitations aren't for everyone, but they result in a fun challenge. Red Mage's limitations are just heaps upon heaps of annoyances that keep it from feeling satisfying.

For DRK, combine Abyssal Drain with Flood of Darkness. Under the effect of Dark Arts, restore HP by 75% of damage dealt to each target (similar to war bloodwhetting, but less frequent and more potent). Applies to both Edge and Flood abilities. This way when you use TBN, you can hold onto Dark Arts until you are lower health, then use it for massive hp gain. Also aids in raids where you take a buster which pops TBN, you then have the ability to heal yourself for fairly substantial health (though not enough to make healers irrelevant). For SCH, I'd like a single target shield that uses the gauge, or just more uses for the gauge in general. SGE is so strong with tons of shield that are OGCD, both party wide and single, can take multiple hits. SCH just feels like it's sitting on so much gauge way too often. If it wasn't for Chain, then I don't think many people would be bringing a SCH.

Tying utility to damage buttons is bad design. No one wants to have to choose between healing themselves or using their damage buttons effectively. While we're at it, make gap closers 0 potency so we can actually use them for gap closing instead of dumping them into personal/raid buffs.

MNK: It's had a flaw in its kit since stormblood, meditation stacks have no buffer for capping like other job gauges have. The procs can be erratic, sometimes all coming in at once when you're close to full already or filling too late in your GCD window to allow for a weave. I'd give it a buffer of 5 stacks (so ten stacks total) like how other jobs have gauges of 100 with their abilities usually requiring 50 gauge; that'd let Monks sit on Forbidden Chakra for a crucial second or two and cut down on wasted Meditation stack procs. A restriction would be that the stacks past 5 can't be charged manually using Meditate.

For RDM I'd like to see their OGCD skill cooldowns actually line up with 2 min bursts, they're the only job in the game with these awkward 25 and 35 second offensive OGCD cooldowns and their incompatibility with the 2 min meta stands out like a sore thumb, especially after all of the 45 second skills got shortened to 40 for the same reason.

If I were to mess with AST's card stuff, I think the issue is, any sort of randomization you have can just be unfun, like you don't get what you want in the moment so it becomes frustrating, so I thought of a sort of loose random system that still allows enough flexibility to have some control over it. I imagined a system sort of like BRD songs, but more randomized. Imagine you have a deck of cards, and it's just a few cards, like 5 at the most or something, and you use draw to draw from the deck. Each card has a different passive effect that stays up as long as it's your active card. Could be things like aoe regen, increased healing, increased cast speed for the AST, damage buff for everyone, stuff like that, that just stays up. Always something useful, but could sometimes not be as useful as another skill. So you give draw like a 10 second cooldown, and the card effect a 20-30 second timer. That way if it's an effect you like, you can keep it up for awhile, and if it's one you don't want at the moment, you can move on to the next relatively quickly, but not just spam draw till you get what you want. When you draw another card, the previous active card goes to a discard pile, so it's no longer part of the deck, until you've gone through every card in the deck, when the discard pile is shuffled and moved back to the deck. This way you're always guaranteed to *eventually* get every effect, and you have some control over how quickly these effects get swapped. This cuts down dramatically on buttons and weaves, since you no longer need to draw, look, redraw, target party member, apply. Obviously sometimes you get the card you want first try, but anyone that plays AST for any amount of time knows that more often than not, you don't get what you want lol. This new system would reduce it all down to one button, you just weave between a cast, and no need to target a specific party member to apply it, but it still keeps that unique randomized card feeling.

Re: Astro idea. At first I was wondering what a timed dot ability could be but I think I cracked the code. My idea would be similar to how WHM has an on-hit potency to their dot: the lower the time remaining on combust is when it gets refreshed, the higher the initial burst is. It always feels good to me on bard to snap my dots with IJ at the last second even if I don't need to, but this could make Astro have something unique and strong about how they manage their dot.

It’s rotationally strict/punishing for a tank + you have the extra responsibility of obviously being the tank. Also it’s one of the sweatiest jobs to parse on, even when compared to many DPS jobs. For RDM: get rid of Verraise, I`m so fed up with getting doubletaxed just because this skill exists, esspecially when many fights on Savage are bodychecks on bodychecks. Another thing on RDM that was also addressed in the vid is the length of the combo. I would like to see it going back to beeing 5 part where your singletarget-combo grants you black stacks and Enchanted Moulenet giving you white stacks. Black stacks unlocking Verflare-Resolution and white unlocking Verholy-Scourge For SMN: remove carbi and put the player as the source of the shield like they did with the partybuff I love carbi but it serves no purpose anymore on SMN. Keep it for Arcanist to have a resemblance when the class splits into the Jobs For BLM: Paradox getting the singletarget with aoe-falloff-treatment. I would love to see Xenoglot-stacks beein introduced early as well as a early version of Umbral Soul. The early Xenoglotstack beein used on a guaranteed doubledamage Scathe with little to no aoe-downfall and early Umbral Soul simply refreshing the Eno-timer. It`s super akward to have to keep swapping your stance when later on all you do is refreshing with Umbral Soul DRK: TBN grants you the proc either when it breaks or the timer runs out alternativly no MP-cost and a 25 sec CD. Living Shadow actually mimiking your skills like Bunshin does on NIN NIN: Raiju-ready not beeing canceled when using a weaponskill (there is no sense to having a 30 sec timer on the buff when you have to use it within the next 3 secs basically). Have it beein one button as a dash (like it is right now) and have your melee-combo beein replaced with the non-dash attack. Basically 6.0 NIN but the Raiju-skills replace the buttons that would normaly cancel them.

I know SCH is in a very good spot, but I would really love for them to lean more in to the use of fairies being a remote heal/buffer (like Whispering Dawn, Fey Blessing and Fey Illumination). I'd just really like to see them lean in to the remote healing capabilities a little more. Give an option that allows us to channel the casting of Succor and Indomatibility through Eos/Selene to reduce the need for having to reposition for healing. E9S was the one fight that really made me wish there was more options to heal directly from the fairy during panel phase.

GNB needs an increase in their No Mercy window, give it charges or extend the duration. We have so much to try and cram in the initial window. Also allow us to build ammo pre pull. Going in with zero resources up just feel bad because for our opener we typically need to do one full 3 hit combo rotation and popping no mercy. Theres also the issue with skill speed needing to be at a certain cap otherwise we clip our skills. Last i played 2.4 skill speed was the sweet spot.

Literally all they need to do is summoning Bahamut gives you Ifrit, Titan and Garuda and then summoning Phoenix gives you Leviathan, Shiva and Ramuh before going back into the Bahamut phase so they aren’t identical.

@@TheSattocs Personally, I am not in favor of this change, at least not if it is done this way. I prefer that they add three buttons for the three new summons and give us the possibility to use three gems of our choice on the six summons. This is simply because if they place the three new summons after Phoenix, we will have exactly the same kit/potency on the three new summons; they will be identical copies of Garuda, Ifrit, and Titan because they cannot afford to have variations in mobility and potency between the two phases, especially if they keep the bursts under 120 seconds.

For BRD: Just remove the damage from songs. Buff other gcds or don't, just make it a spell you can freely cast. That will immediately solve the downtime issue.

I want the fairy to get the Sprint buff (or have the option to make her always by my side). Lost count of the times we were sprinting for that W2W then I used Whispering Dawn and the fairy was really far away and nobody got the Regen.

@@Nimoot I really like being able to cast from the fairy, there are definitely times where it's easier to get everyone with a heal during a spread thanks to it, but a faster following speed so it can stick to you when the scholar runs around if it's on the follow mode would do a lot to help dungeons.

There's a lot of instances in the current raid tier where being able to place your faerie is VERY helpful - for example, platforms in P10S, you can place your faerie at the one you aren't going to, making healing whoever breaks the webs significantly more comfortable. If they raised the pet's movement speed significantly so it doesn't lag behind you by a mile, a lot of the issues with their casts coming from weird locations would disappear

I saw someone say on the forums that for Dragoon's rework, they may make the jumps part of the Life of the Dragon phase only, but they can make some of them GCD's like Primal Rend. I thought this was a really cool idea to keep the burst timings the same and structured similarly, but allow for the burst window to be more iconic and stand out. And thematically I think it makes sense that when you go into the Life of the Dragon phase that you get empowered with, well, the life of a dragon and gain the ability to jump high, become stronger, etc. Also I feel like they need a proper personal defensive of some kind. Dragons have incredibly tough scales, so something like "Dragon Scales - makes the user take 15% less damage for 15s" similar to Monk's Riddle of Earth

As someone who kind of dreads the idea of gcd jumps, I think this is definitely the way they should go about it. Maybe leave High Jump as an ogcd that still lets you enter life phase, but change dragonfire dive to be a multi part gcd combo condensed into one button for your burst (kinda like what paladin got in EW with their lvl90 blade combo).

In regards to RDM's dualcast getting eaten up by sprint - It's even worse than that. Not ONLY does sprint do that shit but every goddamn buff in the game does it. For those who dont see the implications, it gets used up when potting... Which makes it just a **LITTLE** annoying when you have a downtime phase and have a re-opener with pots right after as you want to go into said phase with a dual cast proc so you can immediately start throwing out your stuff (even worse when youre supposed to throw your buff on the first weave due to resource pulling).

A few changes I'd like to see (changes not new buttons): SGE - a reworked Soteria that makes Kardia not only heal more but also makes it an AOE effect BRD - songs are just buffs that don't require a target (and don't do damage) DNC - a reworked Flourish that instead of giving a free reverse cascade and fountainfall it just garantees 100% proc chance for everything

I don't mind the gap closer as a SMN main. I have learned to use it in raiding to quickly get to the correct position, and it also allows mobility during ifrit phases, with movement built into it if needed. The BIGGEST change I want for Summoner is to keep our current Demi buildup upon death. There is nothing more frustrating as a SMN than dying to a mechanic while building towards phoenix, only to die, and get reverted back to Bahamut, which causes our burst window to be opposite everyone else's. It's something that REALLY needs to be addressed.

Yeah, nothing's worse than Bahamut getting out of sync with the 2 minute window. For the Ifrit charge, that's usually fine, although I wouldn't mind it if there was a different option for each Eikon's "special" attack that provided alternate utility. So on Ifrit you could either charge or have a stay-at-range option with just slightly lower potency; on Garuda you get an alternative to Slipstream for when the boss isn't going to stay in the DOT, and for Titan, maybe a Feint effect or some other similar utility.

Yea its a punishment That's the intended design and they shouldn't change it. U should be punished for being bad, and it's not like u have an excuse of not getting healed bc u have aegis and in a pinch physick even if it's shit it's more than BLM. Not to mention u basically have phys ranged movement, it's p hard to die on smn. If u die it's a punishment for your whole team. @@CleopatraKing If the devs didn't change initially intended design decisions after feedback, then we would still be dealing with DIadem 1.0 or multiple kinds of glamour prisms for each different crafter. And while I won't deny that current Summoner could use improvements, the general consensus towards the change has been positive so it is unlikely the devs will ever revert to pre-EW Summoner.

To my knowledge (correct me if I’m wrong… I have all jobs at 90, but I’m only really good with like 4 of them) but no other job will completely reverse their 2 minute window due to an unfortunate death. All other jobs have 2 minute buffs that don’t alternate between 2 versions on the same button. This is a problem. If one job is heavily punished and others aren’t, it should be addressed.

I’m hoping for a spender for the fairy gauge. At the moment it’s only tied to the healing tether which is great but would be cool if we could use 50 gauge for a huge shield or heal idk OR AN ATTACK I wish sidewinder for bard was more engaging. Make it proc something or maybe decrease the cooldown? Black mage is perfect as is.

For Dancer, I'd like Tillana to refresh the Fountainfall and Flourishing Cascade procs. Would give more skill expression (i.e. higher ceiling) in knowing how to manage your procs during a burst and potentially dropping Standard Step in the burst for greater potential plus potential feathers. I hate how busy the burst can be, but I'm more than happy to double down on that.

Realistic changes: Warrior - Make Raw Intuition/Bloodwhetting heal for more but not scale with the number of enemies. Remove CC from Holmgang so we don't have to macro it anymore. Paladin - Paladin feels like it lacks class identity for too long, so swap Holy Spirit+Divine Magic Mastery (64) and Goring Blade (54). Hallowed Ground is 90% DR and death protection, with a reasonable cooldown. Dark Knight - TBN at 45 with longer cooldown and no Dark Arts, then back to normal at 70. Gunbreaker - Superbolide gives you a healing absorb equal to your current health, rather than setting your HP to 1. Continuation for Fated Circle. White Mage - Holy is too strong in dungeons, so instead of stunning foes, it applies a small absorb to allies and damages enemies. Cure 1 upgrades into Cure 2. Scholar - Aetherflow/Lustrate moved down to 40, to make dealing with bad tanks in Stone Vigil easier. I swear, that place is cursed. Astrologian - Remove Undraw. Benefic 1 upgrades into Benefic 2. Make Synastry work with abilities. Monk - Anatman provides personal damage reduction and a pulsing, channeled self-heal. Dragoon - Remove the strange sounds from Chaos Thrust and Chaotic Spring. Why do those abilities sound like a moogle with a flute is following me around? Ninja - Shukuchi doesn't break Hide. Hide reduces movement speed less. Add "Hide resets Mudra" as a Ninja trait so that new players will be more likely to know about it! Samurai - Consolidate Shoha 1 and 2. Consolidate Ikishoten and Ogi Namikiri. Bard - Two charges of Empyreal Arrow. Remove Iron Jaws, but add DoT application to Sidewinder. Dancer - Change Improvisation to a pulsing, channeled heal rather than a HoT that builds over time. Black Mage - I think this might be a bad idea, but I'd love to playtest it - remove the proc on Scathe and make it refresh AF/UI by 3 seconds, up to max duration. Summoner - Now that FF16 is out and we don't need a Clive test run anymore, can we get a rework to make Summoner feel like a traditional FF summoner? :P Red Mage - Add a cooldown to Verraise. Sprint doesn't consume Dualcast.

One change that I really really want to see is to the mp management of black mage. I love playing black mage and I love that they have a very flexible way of playing. Working around the timing of mechanics and knowing when you can get off certain casts fully and how long you want to stay in ice vs fire is very interesting and allows for a lot of skill expression. It makes me want to play it more and get better because there is so many ways to do a fight compared to summoner basically doing the same thing every pull with small variations. But, the fact that some of Black Mages optimized play requires an addon to track the tickrate of mp regen and lucid is seriously so stupid. It feels weird and unsatisfying, plus almost impossible without a mod counting it down for you. That kind of optimization is unlike any other jobs high level play and I hate it. I am not someone who plays Black Mage a ton but my suggestion as a solution would be that black mage cannot passively regen mana in both fire AND ice. Instead, when in Umbral Ice 3, you gain back like 5000 mp each time you use a non-fire spell (thunder, blizz IV, paradox, xeno, etc). That way regaining mana in ice form is active and clear, not bound to a tickrate that isn't clearly represented in game. It doesn't have to be 5000 mp too, it could be like 3333 mp or 2500 mp if you think more gcds are necessary in umbral ice form. Plus umbral soul would count as a non-fire spell so you could still regain mana and hearts during downtime or forced movement without triple cast. I think removing this kind of weird optimization is healthier for the job and makes it so much clearer for new players how Black Mage functions

I've actually mailed black mage since the introduction of fire 4 and I will say that when you first start, your right that mp tick timing can be irritating. However as a full fledged BLM main now. That timing is ingrained in my physical memory. I don't think I've ever said, "come on tick damn you" this expansion

Cure 1 -> Cure 2 should be a trait upgrade. Same with Medica 1 -> Medica 2. There’s no need for them to be separate buttons in the current game. All jobs need a basic combo upgrade visually as well. The 1-2-3 for a lot of jobs is really stale.

My changes to black mage: Ley Lines creates a circle that lasts for 3 min with a 30s cool down. Only 1 circle can affect you at a time. Aetherial Manipulation still rushes you to a party member if you have them targeted. However, if you have a circle of power active and no party member targeted, then it teleports you to the last circle you were in or to your next circle. This lets a BLM be far more mobile but have to plan ahead to get that mobility

The problem with cover is that when its useful, Pally becomes best in slot and pretty much mandatory in content. Which I'm okay with if all the other tanks get extremely strong skills for their identity.

WHM: Gain all lily spells at an earlier level. I’d like to gain the first lily spell at level 50 and then the remaining two at the 50-60 range. This way, the job can gain traits at later levels that upgrade the spells. For example, introduce Rapture at level 60 as a weaker spell, then have it upgrade to the Rapture we know today. As for what that weaker spell is, use a spell that already exists in the game’s files: Aero III or Water III/IV.

I want them to add a stance toggle to all healers that switches main healing GCDs to swap between regen or barriers. This would mean the beloved "Diurnal sect" returns to AST mains. I know it's homogenisation but it's important for party composition so that having SCH + SGE or WHM + AST comps are more viable. Plus it means we won't have an odd number of healer types (e.g. 3 regen and 2 barrier), should SE ever decide to make a new healer in the expansion after DT. I never like the forced division of pure/barrier healers in Endwalker (because that meant removing diurnal sect from AST which also removed some skill expression) so I think having a stance toggle like this is a good addition for healers.

Red Mage; Acceleration should grant insta-cast Verraise, without interrupting combo. Could extend to Veraero/Verthunder not interrupting combo. That way it keeps the kit cohesive & also sort of plays in to "Acceleration" thing, going fast and could probably lend itself a bit more freedom with the second charge. & yeah, sprint thing.

Don't think it would work for Aero/Thunder, since they are mana-gaining abilities, though I admit it would be super nice for the times when you accidentally start the melee combo and are missing like 1 mana on one side or the other. I do agree that Verraise should never break the combo (why does *EVERYONE* always seem to want to die during my melee combo?!) and acceleration working for it could be nice. However, using an Acceleration charge on Verraise could be a pretty good chunk of a DPS loss - between the loss of potency on the next spell, as well as the loss of the mana gain - so it would honestly almost never be used. Regardless, even if it was never used, just the option of having it *able* to be used as such would indeed be a nice change.

I'd love for more things that use faerie gauge on scholar. And the fey union needs to be really pumped up. THe game's design has moved away from the autoattacks are a big part of the damage, which is what fey union seems designed to do. I hate filling a gauge and not having a cool thing to do from it

Sage - this one is gonna be weird, but hear me out. The the means of generating addersgall and addersting. Make sting a charge system, and every time you use toxicon you get a gall. That would increase mobility. Dragoon - just get rid of wheeling thrust and f&c. Ever since the chance to blood, we don't need them anymore, it's just more button bloat. Put positionals (if they even last to Dawntrail) on chaos and full thrust, same with Raiden proccing off them.

All cover needs is a range increase along with a manual way to turn it off (right click buff), as well as hopefully just make it 0 cost. The skill itself is very good especially in prog, but often times you cant tether to an ally even on the other side of the boss target circle because the range is so short, while this does have its tactical advantage of allowing you to unlink the tether if you dont want to soak any more damage. I've used it in ultimates as well when somebody makes a mistake and needed a res, but when the invulnerability wont last or they were required to sprint.

As a DNC main, ive wondered since the pvp rework if they have been using that environment to test some ideas out for future expansions. The idea of En Avant working similarly in PvE and augmenting an ability that follows it is very interesting to me, it could augment in a way that helps with feathers like you said, or perhaps some other way that makes the dps on dancer more predictable, which would reduce the impact of feather rng in comparison.

Some ideas I thought off the top of my head to spitball: For the DRG rework, a part of me hopes they focus more on jumping more frequently. DRK: Make TBN give you a stack Dark Arts if it fails to pop at the end of the duration. Make Oblation not bad. Change Dark Mind to be an all-type damage mitigation like the other tanks. MCH: Make Flamethrower generate heat SAM: Consolidate Hissatsu: Guren and Senei. Unlikely to happen, but finally split/decouple Arcanist/Summoner/Scholar General change: Give all jobs access to an AoE GCD sooner in the leveling experience

Plain and Simple, DRK needs a massive change to how it operates in general. Oblation needs to be removed, its a Band-Aid button and its utter bloat, its the only tank that needs to pop an extra mit for a tb while also having the most bloated rotation in terms of ogcds, it makes it just feel awkward and annoying especially around 2m windows where theres a tb, and the 10s duration of Dark Mind, Oblation ect makes it a bit harder to prepop these around burst windows. And the job suffers in both survivability, and DPS as it currently stands. Oblation should be attached to TBN, and it should function similar to most tank mits where you get the short duration benefit of oblation (Like the 4s of extra 15% on most short tank mits) but the shielding aspect of tbn should stay till its consumed, or return unused shielding as hp. and no matter what at the end of the timer, you get your dark arts proc(or get it immediately if the shield was consumed by dmg obviously.) TBN should retain its mana cost simply because it can be used as a way to transfer more dps into burst windows and i think removing that would be silly. as for additional features the job should receive, all mana you spend should be returned as hp, 50 potency per 300 mana or something. Dark Missionary should be 70. Carve and Spit should be the single target heal variant of Abyssal Drain, and Lastly, their gcd potency should be in line with all other tanks 200, 300, 400 respectively (Currently 170, 260, 340) thats a total of 130 potency overall they do less per rotation, while having one of the weaker 1m cycles in exchange for a slightly above average 2m) I absolutely love this job, its my favorite looking aesthetically, and its my favorite to also play. That unfortunately doesn't change the fact that its lacking a lot of the benefits other tanks have over it, and DRK's only saving grace was its damage potential, which is no longer its saving grace cuz warrior does more... its actually depressing

As a Machinist main this might be a controversial point but... I wouldn't mind personally seeing a new version of Gauss Barrel. If there's a point in an encounter I could safely plant myself, pop an attachment on my weapon, and increase my overall damage at the cost of movement when I don't have to move I would love to have that capability.

It should be just like in pvp, nothing more, nothing less. You deal damage, you grant a shield. Shield breaks, you get access to engaging yet simple ogcd damage. Make it the same for gcd heals. I’m convinced pvp sage was the intended gameplay from the start for this job, then YoshiP stepped in and said no fun allowed.

What I was thinking is making Addersting into a charge system where every 20s you get a charge of Addersting and upon 3 usages of Addersting you unlock a super strong dps attack. Also change Pneuma to be a 2 part skill, 1st part being a powerful AoE attack that gives the Sage a 2 minute buff that lets them use a powerful oGCD heal. It would make Pneuma useful during downtime and give Sage an interactive heal.

as a DRK main you hit the nail on the head, all you need to do to "fix DRK" is have the healing potency of Abyssal Drain at a set mark that "isn't op an makes sense" if its a single target an have the potency lowered based off how many targets it hits, also remove it from sharing the same cooldown as Carve and Spit an give Abyssal Drain something like a 3,000 mp consumption per use with a 15 sec recast timer similar to Blackest Knight smh

My thing with SMN is I like having the dash but I don't like having such a limited window to use it. Maybe uncouple one ability from each summon from having to use it during that 30 second period. Give us a Crimson Cycone on a long cd but we can use it any time. Could do the same with Slipstream and Mountain Buster and have new Dawntrail abilities fill in during the timed sections.

For NIN: 1. Potentially bring back the guaranteed crit on Hyosho while dialing back the potency 15-20% 2. Make Goka damage neutral on 2-Target 3. Meisui should also give a potency buff to Hellfrog Medium so that it gains usefulness as well in dungeon pulls.

DRG main here, ignoring the future rework, I want them to start instances with full eyes. DRK, regen on TBN break is all I ask for. If we wanna get fun with DRK, Abyssal Drain and Carve and Spit give a single big pot heal with Abyssal getting fall-off healing beyond target. Overhealing gives a barrier based on overheal up to a decent cap. Oblation, convert a chunk of your health to a barrier and give dmg reduction, still can target party members. We can keep OG BLU for Carnivale and a BLU specific Duty Finder Setting for challenges. I want them to give BLU a real rotation but let us glam the spell effects. GCD spam Fish :3

you already have the flexibility to go into ranged, you just hard cast holy spirit. you only lose 15 average potency per cast compared to your 1234555 combo, not to mention you can already hold your instant cast for up to 5 GCD-s after you get it without overwriting it, giving you any more stacks would just be silly imo

This. I even thought of some that would fit the current healers. WHM: A Skill that uses the Petals for damage, Blood Lilly can then upgrade to heal as well. SCH. Rework Energy Drain to have a short CD, no longer uses Aetherflow. Maybe give a 2nd dot, but thats unlikely to happen. Maybe even a timed debuff that does damage after X time. AST. Some kind of charge system that gives you up to 5 stacks of an ability, you use it and it does weak damage but repeats for each stack. Originally, can apply to Malefic but perhaps good card use also rewards stacks to give good feedback for proper use when learning the class and rewards players using it right with more damage. SGE. In the right direction, but I say two changes which can become one. Eukrasia should affect more skills overall, maybe with their own CD, and one more skill that is low CD but not spam.

​@@Belodri It's just really hard to do in XIV's current system. How big of an increase would we need in damage to make gcd healing needed? The hardest fights in the game can be done with few to no gcd heals. Perhaps weakening the heals of current abilities could work. At the end of the day any change in difficulty to the healing side of the kit can negatively impact a newer player to the role. Besides a lot of healers want more engaging solo gameplay. They shouldn't be forced to get another job leveled just to enjoy the fights in the msq or some side content. But that's my own view on the topic. More healing would be fun, I just don't think it's likely.

@@Belodri Its because FFXIV's system is built on predictable damage - not RNG. In the 'predictable damage' environment, you can't just 'increase damage' to increase involvement on healing. It would require a fundamental rethink to how encounters are designed to incorporate a less predictable damage flow overall. Whether THAT is a good idea or not is a much larger debate, but I feel like the general ffxiv population would probably dislike that on the whole. As a result, the idea of 'making healing more involved' becomes almost a non-starter in ffxiv since it would require such a fundamental shift, so people then go to the second option of 'if you can't make healing more interesting, make damage more interesting please'.

​@@Belodrihaving done *some* healing in WoW (on Preservation, Resto Shaman, and Disc), I can say that it works there ... but doesn't really, for XIV. The slower overall GCD (and frequency of damage players take) really does just make the difference in that.

Regarding the PLD job gauge there's a problem with just getting rid of it. It's used for 3 skills: Sheltron, Cover and Divine Intervention (each using 50). So unless those skills get reworked the job gauge has to stay, would be nice if it had more uses or recharged differently. I think the job just needs a mild rework and a button crunch. While its great as the most defensive tank thats really all its useful for right now, defensive OT or baby's first tank.

How about for Sage: Eukrasian Toxikon: Instant cast, 1.5 sec recast Same potency as Dosis/Toxikon, but it consumes an Addersgall to generate an Addersting, so you can trade excess Addersgalls for movement

Red Mage not killing their resolution combo if you so much as nudge a spell would be nice. Like, it currently cancels even if you dont actually finish casting the spell, which is wild to me considering how they made all melee jobs not break their combos while using ranged attacks. Also ofc, getting rid of verraise or at the very least not being taxed for having it when any remotely difficult content is just full of bodychecks rendering it useless.

I also agree about Kaiten, but SAM does need some other ability to consume Kenki as that resource generates very fast and the only other way to keep it from capping out is to spam the OGCDs that use kenki as they are small cost compared to Kaiten. Or that is how it felt during my time leveling the job.

I honestly would like the follow-up Iaijutsu, and the Shoha Ability to eat the kenki bar as well. The follow-up eats half (rounded to the nearest 5) and gets a potency buff for every 10 points it consumes. Shoha does the same thing but it takes the whole bar regardless of the amount of Kenki is on the bar and also gets a potency buff for every 10 points ot consumes.

​​@@Tairutheshogunyeah it's a good idea. Basically it's just rolling what Kaiten used to do (spend Kenki to increase damage of a move) into the Skill automatically. I like it. Alternatively, PVP has turned Kaiten into a buff. Making Kaiten into a passive buff that spends Kenki to increase power, for example, could work.

For Warrior, I'd love to see some nods back to the Marauder roots. If we're saying that narratively we're at the point where instead of learning old techniques, we're innovating new ones, then I'd love to see a bit of the naval aspect of Marauder come back. Boarding axes were primarily used for cutting ropes, but on rare occasions where a boarding party had enough men to take the deck but not overwhelm the ship, they would also be employed to try and de-mast a ship - which was hard, considering how thick the mast is! Hewing through such a thick obstruction with a single, powerful swing seems right up Warrior's alley, so I think there's definitely something there, either for animation inspiration *or* as an upgraded Fell Cleave.

For WAR, I'd mostly like for Inner Release to also grant Storm's Eye rather than just extend the buff so we can pull with it rather than having to do our Storm's Eye combo first. Edit: Maybe this would be better as an upgrade trait, but maybe Infuriate could extend Storm's Eye by 5 seconds.

War has this weird way apply its dmg buff in the LV40s, needing to 2 aoe GCDs to get it on a single target lol. So i agree yes

The opener would change from from 1-2-4(IR) to 1(IR)-2-4 (or even prepull) and there would be minor optimizations around downtime, but I don't think this would be a significant change.

@@grantwu407 I didn't think about that for awhile after I posted that. Perhaps extending the duration from IR from 10 to at least 15 seconds in addition to Infuriate granting 5 seconds would make the opener more forgiving.

For Red Mage, a small but easy buff they could do is make embolden an all damage increase for the rdm themselves instead of only magic. That way, their corp a corp and fleche/contre damage can be increased and they don't have to do much.

Sounds good on paper. Timelines for CAC and Fleche however are kinda mung for a ten second two minute window and this may lead to dropped fleche/cac/engagements.

I again I would take the charge and disengage abilities off the the gauge bar for Samurai. But Consolidation of the buttons would be amazing

For me I used to love Monk so so much. And I don't like how it is now only for one super simple reason: Masterful Blitz being a GCD. If it had been an oGCD like Stardiver, I would have committed to Monk this expansion I think. I have ALWAYS loved how fluid the ShB rotation felt, so for the stacks to charge up masterful blitz just naturall come with using the rotation was nice! Then Blitz being actually a GCD made it feel so strange to me.
