for someone who's got limited experience you seem to be going in the right direction I have seen so called professional carpenters make way more mistakes than you and simple ones to boot, I can see you take pride in your work and its showing, well done so far keep up the good work

Thank you very much for your cool work and thank you for sharing we learn from it. You did the right thing by applying double tape and this makes the job much more secure and long lasting. I would have done the same as you.
Beautiful job on your garage! I applaud your work ethic! :) One thing though, if you wouldn't mind....when you talk, could you kill the annoying repetitive music? I can't make out what you're saying! On top of that, the music is too loud when you're not talking! I keep having to readjust the volume every time! That gets old real fast! Just something I thought I'd mention for any future videos you'll make. :)
Ya I did leave gaps for the purpose of letter water drain out. If there's a next time I won't use caulk along the bottom at all I guess. I think it will be fine. Thanks for commenting.
@@iveneverdonethisbefore8390 nice thanks for the reply. Usually what he does is takes a piece of siding and puts it on the bottom so it slopes to the outside and puts the water proofing over that. Doesn't caulk the bottom edge and uses spacers to leave a gap, but ensures it's air sealed with the spray from from the inside. Consider the stretchy zip window stuff next time. More expensive, but less time and layers.
I think you did a great job. I know how much work goes into building something like this, not to mention the cost. Looks beautiful and I can just imagine the smell on the inside.
