I know absolutely love him for this I love all three for this seance, I didn’t feel bad he deserved it we almost lost Broke because of it. Julian saved Jamie in time
Julian remembers that spot because he saw Brooke there and Haley remembers it because Nathan almost died jumping off a bridge to save Cooper and Rachel that bridge does not have good memories lol
Hanna Rivers they are different bridges I think. If you go back I think the bridge Nathan jumped off was a different one. Not sure but I think they are different
I think Julien is one of the most underrated but best characters. I loved his speech, any woman would be lucky to have him, Nathan, or Clay stick up for them.
DAMN! I was like "geez, julian and nate are really laying into him. why is clay so silent?" and then clay comes out of nowhere! that was freaking awesome!
And this is one of the many reasons why I love Clay so much. It wasn't his wife or son in the car but he would do anything for his friends and their family. This scene just shows how badass Clay is, and damn it just made him even more heart eyes for me
I loved ho clay just ran at ian and they both fall into the water, i would love a friend like clay, its nice to see loyalty and friendship in one tree hill and is is so believable x great acting boys :)
These three guys are amazing. Defending the people they love. Nathan defending Jamie. Julian defending Brooke. Clay defending his friends. Makes me proud that I’m on the right side, their side.
I saw this episode at my friends house today having never seen the show, and the soundtrack immediately won my heart as it started playing Hard To Be by David Bazan.
Why are there people on the comments thinking that August was the driver during the hit and run? It is obviously Ian because A) The bourbon that Nathan found in the car is Ian's favorite and the only one he drinks and B) August hasn't drank alcohol since his wife died and August would have hit the car from the north end rather than the south if he was coming home from Raleigh. Ian definitely deserved to get his ass kicked, especially since he felt no remorse at all for what he did and all he cared about was his baseball career.
Because in the beginning one tree hill made it look like it was August who hit the car until later the alcohol in the car was revealed and everything else that pointed it to Ian. Nathan only found out the facts you wrote after the fact
Seeing Clay jump in & knowing his s9 arc just makes so much sense. He lost his wife and son & he loves Nathan & Julian like brothers to see Nathan almost lose his son & Julian almost lose his wife just triggered him & he was like I've got nothing to lose but I'm damn sure not going to let this kid get away with what he did.
I totally expected Nathan or Julian to snap, definitely didn't expect it to be Clay. Yet I wasn't surprised. He was on the edge of it all yet all he could see was how the people he cared about the most, almost had their world's turned inside out and upside down and this punk couldn't even admit that it was him driving that night
well, clay is "the brother-in-law of nathan" and jamie is his nephew. Ok, in this season sort of, but he and Queen got married in season 9, so...it was his family too after all, but I am with you guys...they all really care for each other. I love my favorito characters of the whole show was in it till the end aka brooke, nathan & haley...
I love how Clay is the one that goes for him, it just proves how much of a family they are even though they aren't related. also that we get to see the more angry and dangerous side of Julian! Nathan's line was just classic 'My son said to give that to you' but the best part was the BAMF walk at the end ;) much love for OTH
What he said: "You guys are my agents. You should be thrilled that we dodge a bullet. That everyone's okay. Everything's been dealt with." That kid doesn't have a conscience or even a slight of remorse, even Dan after he kill Keith felt something and try to own up to what he did. And even though it took him months to turn himself he did it. Ian let his own father take the blame not like when Dan took the blame for Nathan about Dante but Nathan was going to do the right thing because he though he kill someone. That moment, the accident, should have been a moment of clarity for Ian about turning his life around, and not think about him, him, and him.
Even though he said nothing, Clay knew exactly how scared and devastated julian had felt when he nearly lost brooke. He already lost sara, not to mention that he also loved the Scott family as if he was a part of it.
Did he seriously say those words? "You should be thrilled we dodged a bullet" to the people whose family he almost killed? _SERIOUSLY_ ?! The audacity and the self centeredness on display is beyond words.
I love how clays the one who talked him knocking him off the bridge even though it was Nathan’s son and Julian’s wife but that asshole got what he deserved. All though I would’ve done way worse you don’t drive drunk and nearly kill two people one being just a child and then drive away and let someone else take the blame for you
Thanks for posting this! I saw you posted the ending scene and not this one and I thought you forgot about it. XD Thanks again, btw, Julian is HOT when he's pissed! :D
I love that it is Clay who lost it first, even tho he had no closer relatives involved in the accident... At least no so much as Nate or Julian... That is some GOOD LOOKIN' OUT RIGHT THERE... Also when Nate stretches a hand, and you believe it's to get him out, but he knocks him out of the park... And the three walk away like... this was gang payback...
OA I love Clay he’s a really amazing character and in this scene when he pushed Ian off the bridge and they both fell in the river by saying “You didn’t have a choice? You chose to be a coward!” and when Ian got out of the river Julian tackled him from behind back in the river and decided to give him a taste of his own medicine by drowning his face in the river and asking him “You like that? Huh?” and then Nathan grabbed his hand and yet ended up punching him for what Ian did to his Son Jamie. This scene was so brave and incredible I really love it. 😊😊😊😊😊
@kernsrachel79 I've answeerd this like a million times XD No, it's not. The name of the bridge during Nathan and Haley's wedding is the MOLINA bridge. Nathan says so in the episode. THIS bridge is the GABEL bridge. Brooke said it to Madison in 8x11. Two different bridges. The Molina bridge has wooden railings, and the Gabel bridge has metal railings.
julian nathan & clay are perfect this just shows that they would do anything for there family & yes i know clay isnt there family but as close as he is to jamie and nathan in my opinion he is there family
These guys are soo awesome. I love One Tree Hill soo much!! Can anyone tell me please, what Nathan says to Ian at 3.21 ? About his son? I rewinded it a couple of times, but I simply can't understand it. Thank you! :)
They took Nathan and Dan character in reverse, the father wasn't the over bearing person instead his son was stuck up full of himself brat. I think everyone was seeing that it wasn't the Professor who did it after getting to know more about Ian. I love this show but don't want another season, it's to late in my mind.
This is classic, this scene convinced me to watch season 9 that's coming since season 1-6 were the best, but season 7-8 disappointing except for this episode
@marlee236 That, my dear, is a VERY true statement. I just rewatched 8x10 and I have NEVER seen Julian so sweet with Brooke. XDD I forgot how sweet he is. I need to watch him 24/7 or I forget.
I would of done so much worse to anyone if they would of done this to my family friends or my sister or even my cat yes my cat. She loves car rides. And if somone did what Ian did even though my family or friends or my cat would survived I still would confronted he or she. If the person didnt care yes I go crazy like Clay did.
