車の中でクリスマスを過ごす。これ最高だと思いますよ。ひょっとして年越しも車の中で？🤔奥さんの帽子の白い玉が前の方に垂れていたのが印象的でした。

It's funny the "holidays are coming" coke advert certainly makes it feels like it's finally Christmas but i can't say I've drunk any coke in over a decade lol. Hope you had a lovely Kentucky Fried Christmas. 🎅

Merry Christmas and happy holidays to the both of you, stay happy and healthy. Back in California, my family would prepare a huge dinner with turkey, ham and a bunch of other stuff! Here in Okinawa, my family went to a chinese restaurant for lunch, and had a bento for dinner. New Years actually is the big holiday here in Japan. We are spending time with family, no travel planned for the new year holiday.. Thanks for all of your great content this year!

For an Aussie Christmas I cooked lunch for my parents. Yes even in the middle of summer we often have a roast! I didn't do the full on roast chook this year, just roasted veges, greens and some mini turkey kievs... and fresh prawns and sparkling apple juice. It was a bit eclectic but very tasty. It wasn't as hot as usual for Christmas day this year.

It sounds just perfect! Kudos for cooking anything in summer.. I’m generally reduced to a molten ice cream eating lump when it gets hot haha. Now I need to investigate whether or not kievs are a thing in Japan (and if they can be heated in a pan 😅) because I have a feeling they’d blow Bear’s mind 😆

Merry Christmas - I think the roast turkey is going out of favour in Australia. Many people use to do it as part of the British traditional Christmas. Everyone I talk to now is more seafood based. I also agree hot chips are hot chips and not french fries.

Interesting! I guess it fits better with the idea of a hot Christmas really. I know some people have great big salmon fillets in the UK (and sometimes lobster if you’re well to do I suppose!) but I bet it doesn’t have quite the same feel as an Aussie seafood feast! Anyway, merry belated Christmas from us both and thank you for watching and commenting so much this year! 🥰

Kfc back then is weird luxury in my country only going to kfc if we celebrate somethings , guess japan and asian country is similar.

Oh really? That’s so interesting! It definitely makes a change from it being a bit of a dirty everyday kind of chain in the UK 😅. They even opened up a KFC buffet in Tokyo, which seems so up-market haha

Omg never heard of KFC rolls! They do do biscuits though! And after a little bit of research, I just discovered they don’t in the UK (probs to avoid a lot of confusion 😅)

クリスマスにKFCを食べるというのはターキーからのこじつけ戦略ではあるんですがそれはいいとして、私はKFCといえばビスケット（スコーン）です。これ大好きです。ＵＫの定番スナック、スコーンはいつも食べていました。しかしＫＦＣのこれ値上がりがエグいです。20年前は120円くらいだったのに今は240円です。とんでもなく高くなったおかげで私は家でスコーンを自作しています。月いちで大量生産(笑)

Im a bit torn that they probably didn't shell out for the big Xmas bucket probably due to budgetary constraints but also glad that the dietary restrictions being imposed keeps Kiwi away from middle age inflation
