For context: This song is basically a KMT slogan from 1943 (‘Without the KMT, there would be no China’) that was then used by the communists (‘Without the CCP, there would be no China’) except that the CCP made it into a song (‘Without the CCP, there would be no New China’) in 1955 and then this song uses the same melody but sending out anti-communist message. (Only without the CCP, will there be a new China)
Chiang Kai Shek was of the same evil heart as Mao Tse Dong, both mudered many innocent Chinese people. Chiang was the cause of the white terror in Taiwan, which murdered many thousands of innocent Taiwanese from 1947 onwards, and said he would rather kill one thousand innocent people than let one communist escape. It was not until 1987 that Taiwan (The Republic of China) lifted martial law and thankfully began to transition to Democracy, the first direct election of the President being in 1996. We do Taiwan and the cause for freedom no justice if we promote Chiang here, both he and Mao were evil men who caused much suffering to the Chinese people. To change hearts and minds to a just cause, honesty and a promotion of human justice are imperative, otherwise we end up doing the Chinese Communist Party's job of propaganda for them. Taiwan is now a democracy, a fact the CCP wants to hide from Mainlanders by pretending the fascist regime of Chiang continues. Down with Chiangism and down with Maoism. Glory to Taiwan and to their democratic system. May the Mainlanders eyes open and a new dawn arise so they are free from the CCP.

The personality cult of Kim Il-Sung was created after the war, presumably as a stabilizing tool. If North would have won the war, Kim Il-Sung might not have been able to entrench *himself* into the power. Though here we need to remember that political dynasties are practically a part of Korean culture and South is not as innocent either, the main difference is the lack of cult of personality (unless there's something I don't know about the south).

Actually it doesn’t, because these KMT bastards are the reason why China thinks it has a legitimate claim on us. They were murdering Taiwanese people and suppressing our language and culture for decades before we clawed our way to a democracy.
To me, as a Taiwanese, I hope the ROC can take over mainland China and eventually leave Taiwan alone. Taiwan can remain an independent country. Imagine a R.O.C. mainland China, a new democracy with 1.4 billion people. The people on Taiwan of 23 million will still have no voice. So it is still better for Taiwan to remain separate. But we can be friends and allies. Just governed separately.

Red Sun in the Sky isn’t bad but it’s totally outdone by the USSR’s Communist music.

In reality, the Republic of China and the People's Republic of China are not so much different as you think.
