I’ve been wanting to stay here for a while. Most of the time I look it’s all booked up. Thanks for the review!! I love the kitchenette, room size, decor and views.

It’s a cool spot and I think you’d like it. It’s also I nice place for a relaxing weekend although there would still be a few kids around. Overall nice balance.

We were there in June. Family of 5 with teenagers. Opal Sands and Clearwater Beach did not disappoint. To get around the beach, just use the Jolley Trolley. Nightlife and sounds are great too. Sandbar has a great Groupor and very accommodating staff.

So glad you had an awesome trip! We loved our time at the Opal Sands too. Really enjoyed the decor and overall feel of the place. The views were also fantastic. We visited both Opal Sands and Sand Pearl while we were there, and really enjoyed both properties. Thanks for watching!

Thanks for the review for LP! We haven't stayed at the Sands, but have had wonderful times at the Sandpearl and Treasure Island Resort (both Opal hotels).. LP

Larry P! Great to hear from you and thanks for checking out the video!! It was our first time in Clearwater and we loved it! We split time between the Sand Pearl and Opal Sands. Both properties were great and we liked each for different reasons. The Opal is a different vibe than the Sand Pearl, but if you like Sand Pearl I think you’d like the Opal Sands too. Sand Pearl video coming soon.

Hey man I watched your other video too and had a question. Have you ever checked out the Hilton? Our choice is between Opal and Hilton. Seems like Opal is much better but wanted to make sure. Too bad RU-vid doesn’t have many Clearwater videos. Thx!!

Unfortunately I haven’t checked out the Hilton in Clearwater but I can say that it’s in a good location and we did walk past. Also I can say you can’t lose with the Opal Sands (or Sandpearl) they’re beautiful resorts. Hope you plan a great trip. Also, hope the video was helpful and thanks for watching!

We stayed at the Sandpearl Resort in that area. It was the only resort that had a decent large pool with direct access to beach.
