I’m back with more videos! Sorry it’s been a long while since my last upload here: I haven’t had access to my computer that I make my DVD showcase videos with. My series of videos celebrating Disney Channel’s 40th anniversary is continuing soon, but to keep you all tied over until then, I decided to shake things up a little bit by showcasing some VHS releases from the major studios that haven’t been covered in good quality on RU-vid elsewhere.
For my very first VHS opening video, I’ll be showcasing a Nickelodeon physical media release for the first time ever. Released exclusively at Wal-Mart in 2003 (but pressed in 2002 according to the copyright information on its back cover and closing logos), Nickstravaganza! is a semi-rare VHS compilation containing one 11-segment each of SpongeBob SquarePants, ChalkZone, Rocket Power, and The Fairly OddParents, notable for being Nick’s final home video title to have only been released on VHS. A sequel was released on both VHS and DVD later the same year, swapping SpongeBob out for Invader ZiM.
