In this video I’m heading to the city. Let’s see how openpilot can manage some light stop-and-go traffic
Comma Two is a piece of aftermarket hardware that plugs in to your car and is mounted to the windshield. It runs Comma.ai's custom software, Openpilot. Openpilot is easy to use and works similarly to your regular adaptive cruise control. Simply press a button on your steering wheel and It enables your car to steer, accelerate, and brake automatically within its lane; and it does all of this much better than your car's default stock system. Openpilot is similar to Tesla's Autopilot.

The power steering motor is definitely capable of providing enough torque, the "issue" is that it won't due to the programmed safety.

Are you interested in the 2x torque mod? Surprised it hasn’t blown up more for a the civic, such a common car. Looking hard for it with no success on the discord yet

Should be noted that openpilot is not doing any braking/acceleration for your car. That's just the stock ACC. Openpilot only adds auto resume.

Yes, now Civic is capable of driving in stop-and-go traffic almost with no user intervention.

Also we should mention that it uses the stock Honda Sensing distance when following another vehicle. Essentially, OP is LKAS on steroids for the Honda Civic.

This tech looks awesome! I wonder if my Morris Garages MG HECTOR PLUS (it's Chevrolet Captiva in US, Wuling Almaz in Indonesia and Baojun 530 in China) is supported or not? I'm from India. If it's a success then this Dope take will have tremendous customer demands and support from India. Please help

Looks like new Toyotas are best. But most complains come from Honda users :D.

I think my 2017 Prius may have more steering torque than your civic. Only downsize is that when my prius comes to complete stop I had to manually push the cruise level to proceed. Not sure about corolla maybe Corolla may have more torque than mine. Which model has the most steering torque?

It didn't, just took left lane and I let it happened. That's why is important to pay attention.
