Bought one in Decmber 2023. Took it in for a trigger job and got it to 3.7 pounds. Excellent. No checkering on the front strqp, so i tried skateboard tape. Then changed and bought a package of Talon grip tape and cut a nice section and applied it. Nice, grippy, without being abrasive. No mag well funnel. No big deal. I can live without it. But it fits my Streamlight TLR-1 1,000 lumen light perfectly so it takes rotation as my nightstand pistol with a Wilson 10 round magazine loaded with 220-230, grain +P JHP. Removed thr G10 grips ajd replaced it with MagPul plastic 1911 grips in black. I also lime using stainless steel hex grip screws so it gives a bit of color to break up the monochromatic black.
Nice Review, no loud music Intro, right to the point! I wish more RU-vidrs would consider editing their video's and following your lead! The 1911 has such a great feel (Grip Angle) In the shooters hand, It's almost like an extension of your hand. I have a SA Operator, I love It you get a lot for the money with SA 1911's!
Bought a new Garrison last week wasn't even blued all the way inside..heavy wear at firing pin hole and bare metal on slides..if test fired must have been 1000 rounds..done with SA
