I always saw him as a moderator, trying to keep the plan for the show on track. I think Anthony in his prime needed some form of control or he could go off the rails. Short term - awesome. Long term - no direction for the show. That's just the way I saw him. It's when he over moderated is when you notice him.

Totally agree, Stern was and is a bore, Stern has never been funny, he only surrounds himself with funny people and takes all the credit , Anthony should try and get back on the radio, even if its regular radio, He can still be just as funny without swearing ,, Maybe wishful thinking but it would be great,

@@kevinsizemore8833 Why would he need to go back on regular radio even if he could? His show is pretty good now, especially when he's co-hosting with Gavin McInnes. My wishful (and unpopular) thinking is he'll someday team up with Opie and Jim again. Say what you like about Opie but the 3 of them together created the most consistently funny content ever.

+izaak bashir I think Patrice O'Neal is overrated due to a combination of having died and having been a black guy 'getting along' with white people. White people get a very cozy feeling from seeing blacks and whites chumming it up. The entire success of the Lethal Weapon franchise is based on that. Before anyone gets hyperbolic; I do think Patrice was a funny and interesting guy and I especially like his and Anthony's honest discussions about race on this show. I don't get what makes him so special compared to the rest though.

+National Acrobat I agree he might be slightly overrated at some times, but he was fucking amazing on the radio, that cant really be disputed.. I dont think its anything due to them "chumming it up", i never felt the feel of the show was like that.

I see way more people claiming to work 16 hr days or two full time jobs than people actually doing it! The IMF considers you 1st world/high income if the average person makes more than $12,000 a yr! You make double that if you work full time at minimum wage in America! I don't feel bad for people that choose to live in NYC or LA and talk about how poor they are...it's supply and demand, if everyone else wants to live there there will be scarcity, it's not capitalisms fault...you can only move that needle so much from where supply and demand sets it with either capitalist or socialist economic policies. Go live in one of the 48 other states that aren't ridiculously expensive! I live in LA and struggle to pay bills, but it's a choice. I have family that own homes in PHX and pay for their beautiful new homes (in good suburban neighborhoods) what I pay to rent my studio apartment built in 1924! Is tha capitalisms fault? If anything it's California socialisms fault and the fact that they have stupid restrictions on building new housing. They want to raise my taxes to subsidize more low income housing but the don't want to repeal restrictions on building a new supply of housing to meet demand! The irony is that I see more new homes being built in PHX which is about 1/5th the size! We should have 5x as much new construction but for various reasons we don't and the prices on housing in CA keep rising...so what am I gonna do? MOVE! I'm not gonna try to use my vote as a gun to hold up rich people and steal their shit!

Still, during the time, the minimum wage increased drastically faster than inflation and continues to do so.
