The Oral-B Genius X is an extremely good electric toothbrush.
It cleans the teeth really well and is one of the smartest and best brushes on the market today
It demonstrates how technology can help you achieve the best oral health care standards.
It is not perfect though. The graphics in the smartphone application could be improved to enhance the way that it educates you about the areas of the teeth you have and have not brushed.
The Genius X lacks the finer details and quality that comes with the likes of the Philips Sonicare DiamondClean Smart.
It gets my vote of confidence for sure, but in reality, it is a more feature rich and expensive toothbrush than you necessarily need. There are cheaper brushes that clean the teeth just as well.
If you do want feature rich, then all things considered, the DiamondClean Smart, is in my opinion, the better buy.

I bought this as my first electric toothbrush, its amazing. So i got the regular black in a lux package, i dont know if it happend because the packaging can so easily be manipulated by the seller, if indeed the lux variant should only come in that gray/black color as you say. No package in my country comes with more than 4 brush heads, which is what i got. I did get a special round and black charging base, as opposed to the usual white charger. I got the black travel case with the black pattern on it, i am very impressed by the quality of this case its amazing and i wish i would have a use for it other than looking at how cool it is and feels in hand. Also the app is a disaster, i will not use this app while brushing, it adds an unnecessary step to follow while doing it, so the first problem i have with it is that the background sync doesnt really work, in the 3-4 days ive had it, the only time the brush data updated to the app was when i turn both the app and toothbrush on for a moment, also the 3D map of your mouth is not stored information, you only see this one time after you have finished one brushing session, just why? You also cant tell the app if you had gum bleeding or flossed etc if you didnt use the app, i wish i could just go back to my last brushing session and tell the app then. TLDR: The toothbrush market is extremely confusing, skip on the lux variant unless you really want that AMAZING looking case, otherwise buy the regular much cheaper model, the only difference between packages are aesthetics, buy your brush heads separately as they are widely available for cheap-ish.

Glad to hear you like the toothbrush Pretty impressive as first toothbrushes go. The app is certainly not perfect and there is definitely scope for improvement as you suggest. I agree with the opportunity to go back and see 3D model etc. I have found the syncing to be reasonably reliable, but I have had some issues as others have, sadly not all perfect.

I got mine but the case came without any charger . It’s a simple travel case . Is that normal ?

There are a few different variants of the Genius X which were launched after this video was recorded. Some of those, don't have the charging travel case.

What is the difference between the 6000 and the 9600 when it comes to the genius?

The key differences Stephanie: The Genius 9600 has an extra cleaning mode (tongue clean) The Genius 9600 allows the brush to be charged in the case with the detachable power adapter The 9600 comes with enhance tracking for real-time feedback The 9600 comes with 3 brush heads in the box rather than 1 The 9600 comes with a suction cup smartphone holder The 6000 comes with a brush head storage compartment The 9600 has a charging stand with detachable cable where the 6000 is hardwired The brushes are available in different color options I hope that helps.

Hey that's super helpful! Thank you! I've been using the 1000 and ready for an upgrade and just trying to figure out which to get. I don't think I need the IO because I know myself and I'm not sure I'll use all of that. 😂😂😂 So I'm trying to figure out which route to go. I want 3d cleaning, pressure sensor, and one that doesn't sound so loud😂 thank you for your videos. They are the most helpful out there.

Stephanie. You might want to try consider the Oral-B Smart 3000. Cheaper. It has Bluetooth, but not the advanced tracking. if you want something now. Alternatively if you can wait a month or 2, I think the Smart 2000 is coming and will be a great buy - www.dentalcare.ca/en-ca/products/electric-toothbrushes/oral-b-smart-2000 - I think it will be the equivalent to the Smart 1500 which we recommend most in the USA.
