Loved ones are mourning after a shooting killed a 13-year-old boy and left another teen hospitalized in Orange County. A suspect, Raymond Mario Jimenez, 27, was arrested in connection to the deadly incident, Santa Ana Police announced Wednesday.
Two 13-year-old boys were walking down the street after being involved in a prior confrontation with another child, according to Kimberly Edds, a spokesperson for the Orange County District Attorney's Office.
“As they were running away from that confrontation, they were confronted by the 27-year-old who then shot them as they were running away,” Edds explained.

Where this happened at this was the turf of Varrio Bishop Street & to the north is Varrio Calle Flores & Varrio Centro Myrtle. I'm not sure how old Bishop Street is. I first heard '90s then '80s but they've been there for awhile for sure. Calle Flores has been around since the early to mid '70s & Centro Myrtle I heard around the same time then that they started up in around 1983-1984. It's been a rough area for a long time but only certain streets & not as a whole. I don't believe any of those Gangs get along although Calle Flores & Centro Myrtle used to in the '80s & '90s. They were super tight from what I understand.
