Relentless, merciless, mindless orcs gathered in numbers to annihilate. They win battles but lose the war. Music: Beowulf- What we need is a hero #orcs #azog #bolg
the Orks in The Elder Scrolls are known as the best warriors of the world. Every Imperial Army got some in their Frontline cause they can hold it against everybody.
Watching this I’m incredibly impressed with Azog’s army, all the other orc armies consisted of relatively undisciplined forces with all kinds of different weaponry. Meanwhile Azog’s army had a standardized armament per unit and they were all highly disciplined. Even his trolls hunted down the dwarven chariots with incredible preciseness, efficiency and devotion. They really should have won easily there if the setup was the same as shown in the movies.
jannes tiemes which is totally inaccurate the way they portrayed the orc armies in the hobbit is all wrong they were not disciplined they didn’t march in rows or have uniform armor like that they were a straight horde the army that attacked minas tirith in return of the king was supposed to be the most advanced orc army ever seen
@@lorenzomenegol6461 I would actually march into war to this. At least if anything in life was worth fighting for and someone was stupid enough to try to take is away. Some are born already conquered sadly.
Yes but fighting againts morgoth is more hell, cuz back then morgoth is the strongest valar and the help of sevants/hes Liutenant Sauron himself make morgoth more powerfull and dangerous then sauron himself, i recommended read more/search 1 Age War of LOTR Tolkien
@@talhadeliporsuk5301 The humans in dale should of been wrecked in seconds going up against armoured orks, goblins and Urks while they have a peice of cloth on them.
dude seriously. like they could have had the orcs win in the hobbit. and i guess they did by ending the line of Durin, but still can we just let the orcs over power the good guys every once and a while to keep viewers on their toes.
Some things that could have helped Sauron: - Making an alliance with Smaug - Creating a great and organized army of Orcs, Uruk-Hais, Goblins, Balrogs, Trolls, Men of the South and Pirates guided by the Nazgul and Azog. With these troops he would have won easily the war, in order to take over the Middle Earth and maybe free his master Morgoth.
At 5:55 Orc army was marching into the city and there were still orcs coming out of the mountain. Azog had a massive army. Anybody know how big the army was. There should have been twice as many elves and 5 x as many humans
There is no exact number mentioned in the books, but it's most likely around 15.000-20.000 for the baddies. However we have numbers for the good guys... They were around 2000 combined. So yes they were heavily outnumbered. The movies depicts an estimated 60.000 Goblin, Orcs etc. The good guys had around 6000-7000, with the Elves having the biggest host. For comparison Sauron had an army around 100.000 for Minas Tirith only. ( Book canon ) We do have an exact number in the movies. It's around 200.000. Note that Sauron did not only attack Gondor... He was attacking everyone simultaneously, so his army was divided into many hosts. This also why you don't see any Dwarf and Elven armies helping the humans, because they were fighting their own battles. Sauron with his Easterling vassals together, probably had an army around 500.000. ( Book canon ) This is also why the Ring had to be destroyed, because there was no army to fight against such numbers in the long run. Sauron would have won the war.
Read the wiki. It's given that the orcs from dol guldur was some 30k and some 10k from gundabad plus they had hundreds of goblins, bats, wargs and dozens of trolls
@@Canned_Knight goblin is the westron way of saying orc. There is no difference in that. The orcs are just kind of like dogs, there's a lot of kinds of orcs and since they didn't really say if the orcs of gundabad were big or small they decided to make them a bigger and scarier breed so that it would look cool
Ehhhhh In canon their physical strength is actually quite pathetic with the Uruks barely matching the strength of humans. Their only strength is that they breed in massive numbers and that they are extremely afraid of Sauron and his officers which makes them more willing to undertake nigh suicidal acts. Though if they aren't forced to march forwards by a whip then you can expect them to flee quite easily.
@@emiliabeleiu474 ... in some phases of military life, the platoons or teams do not like each and another - but the bigger picture is to be accomplished and nothing less will be tolerated or survived... I know such a phase sucks...
What people forget is certain orcs are combat veterans and some hundreds of years old and have learned a thing or two. They’re not stupid. It’s pretty simple to work out trolls make excellent shock troops/destroying battlements etc. And people have commented that the orc armour was supposed to be tag tag and the same with weapons. Yes they use scraps a lot but as shown in the Tow Towers they have forges for standard weapons that will be be the same. The Gundabad orcs would have had lots of dwarfen arms to use as well and can forge their own. If they couldn’t forge or make anything they’d have destroyed Middle Earth already just through raiding parties. Between Mordor, Mt. Gundabad, Moria and Minas Morgul they could constantly attack the free peoples of middle Earth almost at will.
@@julii109 Difficult to say. The Witch King is obviously more powerful, but I can't really say if he's a better General since we don't see him strategizing or orders that much.
The orcs would show up, and stop at about 29 yards out of range of your guns, starring at you. They would then begin to sing a battle hym, chatting while clattering their maces against their shields. Their archers would have bows about 455 pounds due to superior strength, but you would have the range advantage. After letting one last mighty roar they will begin to charge. Normally plot armor would allow the good guys to penetrate their armor with a toothpick. That plot device will look at you and say "Gandolf I know, Legless I know also, but who, are you?" But after about 7 seconds of fire per orc your shots will still begin to draw blood, after about 15 more seconds one is down. Humans would probably stop a moment to stare at this and try to contemplate what is going on, but the orcs instead would only get angry and charge harder. As they get closer more and more of them would drop from the interceptive onslaught of gunfire. Bodies are beginning to litter the ground at an epic rate, the orcs are beginning to lose moral. Finally, the orcs begin to retreat. Then their general shouts NO! Don't run! Don't run! Their bullets are only hailstones! He is immediately after gunned down, none the less this does the job, and they continue to charge. At last, the battle has finally begun, and the orcs are now in range to fire their bows. They now have the advantage as they grew up with the bow, and the bow is accurate, mean while your guns are losing accuracy because the barrels are hot and beginning to warp and misfire and melt, this is already the 5th time your supply lines have resupplied ammunition. A hail of arrows rain down on your men, as they are pierced by arrows they begin to scream in agony as though bullet ants are eating their procreation orbs. The arrows have some kind of venom, the men begin to cough and choke, from this firing support at about 271 yards the melee orcs have what they need to be able to get yet closer without as many lives lost. Finally, the melee orcs are also in the battle, crashing into the soldiers with the m1919's like a avalanche against a daisy, a ferocious flash of maces and axes and halberds and swords and pikes and javelins and hammers is the last thing your men at the front lines see and feel. The battle so far has only been 15 minuets. But the battle continues another 5 hours, all of which spent with the orcs mercilessly chasing your remaining men down who's personel weapons end up themselves running out of ammo and so they have to make their final stand when caught up with using bayonets and other such things. It is the worst military disaster that a modern army has suffered against a medieval force in almost a hundred years. None the less, in no battle in the history of middle earth have the orcs ever suffered so many casualties in one battle. The humans dwarves elves and hobbits of this world make it their mission to find out, who are these strange men with strange weapons? What can I do to fight by their side?
I have a bit of an admiration for the Orcs. Innovative, organised, well armed, fearsome, loyal, numerous. Just look at the variety of units, and tactics employed. But since the protagonists of the movie are basically immortal superheroes Orcs have to suck balls in combat, hence they always lose. Goddamn they can't even beat hungry fishermen in hand to hand combat
Yeah I don't enjoy the style they potrayed the orcs and, goblins with in The Hobbit. If you had a side by side of the Orcs and, goblins from LoTR to The Hobbit it's a little sad at they're portrayal in the latter.
they won already very often but in the movies they bring only when they lose. silmarillion morgoth was good in winning but elfs questionen gods or halfgods what ever they are again for help and they got help.
0:28 that guy emanates "I'll kick anyone's ass, I'll kick your ass, I'll kick your dogs ass. Hell I'll even kick my own ass" energy. With that face he should've had more screen time, be a "hero orc" like Lurtz and Gothmog.
Stuff like this is why I love the game shadow of war, it really shows how the orcs and uruks work, and they aren’t just mindless idiots who run in and get stabbed
I don't know why man but the way the Trolls are used in the Hobbit movies really makes me sad in a way I can't explain. I know they were created by Morgoth as a mockery of the Ents but they don't seem entirely awful like the Orcs do. Removing their limbs and replacing them with weapons AND THEN steering them with hooks in their eyes is just sad.
There are actually evil humans in Middle-Earth like Dunland men, Easterlings, Haradrims and privateers, but they have distinct cultures from orcs, they were Numenor's descendants who were corrupted by Sauron's power.
The Orcs in the LOTR trilogy were way scarier than in The Hobbit trilogy. I remember seeing The Fellowship of the Ring in theaters back I was 13 & when the orcs appeared, I was like "Holy $hi+ ! These guys hella freaky!" With The Hobbit though, I was like "Wait. Are those- Yeah, those ARE the orcs... They look cool."
Plot armour is sooo thick, one thing which I find hard to digest is when the king, aregon, Legolas , gibli came out of helmsdep on their horses in the two towers. There were so many orcs with spear and I think 1 spear is enough to take out their horses atleast but they were just crushing them like monster truck.
When Sauron and his orcs armies of Mordor, Isengard, Angmar, Dol Guldur and Gundabad lauched an massive Invasion of Middle earth but all Free People's Kingdoms ( Mens, Elves and Dwarves with Ents, Hobbits, Maïars and Eagles ) united for destroy all Sauron's evil armies.
When I was younger I loved lord of the rings but when you watch them again you realise the same thing happens over and over again. Hundreds of thousands of highly organised orca with superior weapons always get there arsed kicked at the last minute.
I like how the humans from laketown were able to hold their own against the orcs without the proper armor, weapon, manpower, and training. Like what? Also the women were like yeah well fight the orcs. . I didnt even see any scenes where they fought. In reality, one orc can probably take out 100 women with a piece of pitch fork they call a weapon lul
Lol only if humans had swords and all 😂 if you go to deep realty , humans would either have taken orcs for lab experiments or have slaughtered them with nukes
@@beastthegrimexecutioner8517 there's no fucking way humans would survive the orcs even with our advanced weapons. The orcs are build and created for War
They have won numerous battles, like unnumbered tears , in the movie you should see the won battles right? You wanna really see the looting and sacking of nargothrond? Tho i wanna see the falling of gondolin
Because the plot demanded they lose, realistically (as much as that term can be applied to such films) the Orcs and their Uruk Hai kin should have won by sheer numbers
