legendo! Jos jedno svaka cast! i hvala.

The best way is to dedicate a week or a whole month for custom synthesis, and later focus of producing music, that way you can have your own unique sound and music combined. That's what I'm doing

@10:47 and forward, You are on point here. I've taken classes from many different producers and if it's one thing they cannot teach you is the work and time you need to put in. If you are not ready to put the time and effort in it then one should maybe consider to do something else.

Thx for the vid mate (and the ones before them of course too), you realy helped me to break some barriers, that were in my usuall workflow for many years and showed me, how i can be more precise and efficient, when i'm hitting up the studios nowadays! :))) what i (personally) would find really helpfull in an upcomming video (which would also perfectly add to this topic) of yours, maybe show us a little guide, to where you start on searching for new inspirations and ideas. You've mentionened in the end of this video, that when you want to create a synthis, that you allready know, or got a general idea of how you want it to sound, how you need to set all the parameters correctly. Alltough i could imagine that from time to time (at least thats in my case so), you're feeling the urge to bring in something completly different, to experiement with different instruments and records and so on. I Guess what i wanted to say with this is, it would be really cool and refreshing to see/hear your way on going at the more experimental phases in sound production. :D wish you all the best for the future, lots of health and success! 💚

for this topic, I would recommend this video: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-PuCQCW9Gw-0.html Basically, when you want to learn new things, I think the best would be to choose some of the tracks that are different from what you usually do. This way, by recreating you can learn a lot of things, especially when it comes to breaking out the barriers we all made in our heads. (few examples: intro needs to be this long, leads needs to have this or that, everything needs to be on the grid...) While we learn and get skills, and we repeat some of the things every day and we make an automated pattern while we create. Breaking those barriers is something that will show us what are those barriers and this is when we go forward. By recreating we can get at least a bit of the creative feeling from what we are recreating. This is something that is my personal experience and I know this works for me.

Great Tips. Thanks a lot. I always struggle with just doing sound design but very rarely generating creative output. And I almost force myself sometimes to be creative but that - big surprise - doesn't work. It's a great advice to just ignore it an not to feel urged to be creative. I will see this time as preparation time now. :)

Hey Marko, another great video, one of my favourites in fact and would love to see these kind of topics about the philosophy/mental aspects, rather than technical stuff. I have an inquiry which might be a bit of a narrow question for you to do a video about, but I would love to hear your thoughts on how the Virus Ti2 compares to modern soft synths, in terms of the fun/enjoyment aspect of programming your own sounds versus useability. Do you use the Virus much in your music still?
@EClipChannel

Virus Ti is amazing, not for everything but all those psychedelic sequences is the best, if you listen to Ajja music, you can hear 80% of sounds were made from Virus!

Is your Studio at Home? I have a room wich is 10min away with car. But with 100% Job and little kids i have not much time and in most case my freetime is after 8-9 pm. it‘s kill every time the flow when i first need to drive 10min for only 1-2 hours.... And at Home, i have also a little room which i can use for the moment but the block is acoustically so transparent that I could only work with headphones at least in the evening. @EClipChannel
@EClipChannel 3 года назад
Hi-hats for kick is really gard part, as it’s not about the hi-hat, its more aboht how you process the kick after you glue hi-hat to the kick. I spoke a lot about it in Psychedelic Tips vol.2 I was searching for the hi-hats and tried to understand the process more than 8 months. I must say that this topic was the most difficult to figure out.
