A few Months ago, I had the same mindset of samples as you described you had in your younger years. Since I started wtching your tutorials, I started using samples and the diversity of my music really increased a lot. I even had the courage to release my first EP. So yeah, thank you very much for these videos, you inspire me a lot.

Huge eye opener! I always feel scared to bounce midi to audio, fearing that I won’t have as much control over it once is bounced to audio. After watching this I will feel much more committed to bounce all my tracks from midi to audio. Thanks again Marko! 🙌🏻

I am from Serbia, and SEMPLES folder was created some 20 years ago when I didn't know much of English. If I change that now, all the projects I did till now will not have the right path for my samples, and now I see that as something that has a story and I wouldn't change it. I started liking it. :)

I'm gonna be 100% honest, and I will try not to sound egoistic. But I never found a Kick Sample pack that suits me, and that's why I will prepare one bigger Kick Pack and put it in my shop and will make another one Kicks&Basses as well. I have heard many great kicks in other artist tracks, but those kicks are not in any sample pack. And I know that those kicks will not be in any sample packs as they are secret weapons of some producers. I will share all my kicks and will put them in my shops soon.
@methodofkolishin
@methodofkolishin 3 года назад
@@EClipChannel Speaking of kick samples, I remember back in the day (and some might still do this) a fair amount of psytrance artists would actually sample the kicks out of each others tracks. I remember thinking at the time, that it was kinda sketch and lazy- but then it was explained to me that after re-sampling so many times, the processing builds up in such a unique and desirable way, that you couldn't simply make a new kick sample sound that way or have the same effect! I like making the kicks myself, but I always thought that was a neat technique! :)
@EClipChannel

@@methodofkolishin I was doing that until I developed a skill to create them. Making kicks is really hard!

I think its easy to use samples for oneshots and fx but when it comes down to the basic perkussion loops ( closed hats open hats snare) its way harder. For some of the daytime psygenres i get the feeling that every artist uses the same samples :D

@@DIMENSIONOFSOUND i released only a few more of prog house, but have plenty on my computer, Techno I do for fun. I had a plan to release a lot of prog house this year, but as the situation is as it is, I truly think to leave music and do something else. Hi there. Look, please don't get me wrong, but I already spend pretty much time making those videos, and I ask you to listen to what I say in the videos, as all those extra requests that you ask will take more of my time. Earning from those videos on youtube are hilarious and honestly, I am spending a decent amount of time already. Every extra request is too much for me. I am also spending extra time replaying to all of those comments, and some limit needs to exist. I am trying to help but I already gave information and some of the work you need to do. I can't do everything for you. I hope that you will understnad

Hello E-Clip. If you could ONLY use samples plus all of the modulation and effects of your DAW, and no synths whatsoever, how would that limit you? How would you feel about that?
@EClipChannel
@EClipChannel 3 года назад
Not sure why would anyone choose not to use any possible way to creat music. My approach is to use all possible tools to get best possible results.
@lamborghinimiura7625
@lamborghinimiura7625 3 года назад
The idea is not to limit what you can do. However, given how much you can do with a daw and samples, to what extent is a synth redundant? What specific advantages do you get from the synths only?
@stralplane
@stralplane 3 года назад
@@lamborghinimiura7625 in my humble opinion synthesizers cannot become redundant. How many times you can use and re-use a sample in a track before it becomes familiar and boring ? With a synthesizer you can actually generate new samples if you know what you are doing and have a unlimited amount of samples. You can generate everything you need with a synthesizer, from a snare drum to thunderstorm or a flute...
@EClipChannel
@EClipChannel 3 года назад
@@lamborghinimiura7625 Synth cannot be redundant if you ask me. You can do pretty much with samples, but you can't write melodies and arpeggios with samples, basically, you can but sound quality won't be even close to if you do it from Synth.
@lamborghinimiura7625
