The awesome Mazda 787B is so far the only non-reciprocating engine powered race car to win the 24 Hours of Le Mans and until 2018 also the only Japanese car with the race. It has a unique four-rotor R26B engine that has peripheral intake ports, variable intake length runners, three spark plugs per rotor and a power potential of 930 hp @ 10,500 rpm.
