@@jeremieportejoie2254 Maybe I put the hyphen in the wrong place... I meant that the victory wasn't the move that won the war, not that it wasn't war-like to beam the warhead... if that makes sense...
how crazy would it have been if a Goa'uld managed to get into a Wraith host. better yet if a Goa'uld queen could have got into a Wraith Queen host. might have been an unstoppable force. heck even Anubis getting into a Wraith host could have been really bad. since he had knowledge of Ancient technology, Goa'uld technology, Asgard technology and maybe a few others. would have been a powerhouse in a Wraith body with Wraith technology added to his list. might have been interesting for him to face the Ori at that point also.
No, Imagine if Ba'al's plan take Adria as his host suceeded - Ba'al with the Orici as his host. Not to mentions... He'd get to look at that Morrena Baccarian body alllllllllll dayyyyyyyyy lonngggggggggggg.
You know, kind of like Aris Boch’s species rejected symbiotes, I bet wraith bodies would be immune. If they weren’t, it would indeed have to be a wraith Queen taken over, otherwise she could psychically kill any symbiote that had taken over one of her minions.
would have been crazy if they managed. to get the wraith and Ori to start fighting each other. almost shocked the ancients didn't get them to start fighting years before.
The problem with bringing two of your enemies together, is making sure they fight each other, and don't both gang up on you. But the physical Ancients didn't have Ori, while the Ascended Ancients don't meddle that way with lesser species.
if only the team could start a war between the ori and the wraith-both sides would be severly weakened and then the tau'ri could enter and finish them both off
Three way war between a group of religious extremists, a hive consciousness that is perceived as evil when really they're just trying to survive and evolve, and the Tau'ri. Why does this sound familiar? KEKEKEKEKE
Now that would have been a better stroy arc, and link SGA and SG1 together in a new mini series for a few seasons. Man the Ori spanking the Wraith would have been so cool.
Goa'uld would brutally fail even if they unite under one banner and just simply get defeated....unless you let Anubis take control. Than they may have a chance...to live another year? Ori may or may not fail as fast - or even faster - than their Ancient brothers. Guess that would depend whether the Wraith manages to get their hands on a power source strong enough to allow their cloning facilities to work.
You have a send a bottle in the sea and after 8 long years it has reached it's destination and answered my inquieries. Truly today we have achieve a great victory.
What the show doesn’t tell you is that many of the soldiers had their immediate family members on board as well. So spouses, children and possibly parents and siblings. A great murderous victory indeed lol ;)
Look, it’s their leaders fault. look at Star Trek, the Enterprise has a shield of women and children on board. And captain picard still rams that ship into the enemy like it’s only crewed by military personnel. Enlightened humanity my ass
@@juliankirby9880 If you're talking about what happens in Nemesis, it's been confirmed that Sovereign class starships like the Enterprise-E don't actually have accommodations for families onboard, or at least not nearly in the kinds of numbers the Enterprise-D had, mostly for the exact reason you described, said ships keep getting shot at.
These guys went from small simple Stargates to these ridiculous Supergates powered by blackholes and using the kawoosh to blow the Ori ships up. Wowza. Too bad so many people died in the name of Ori and Ancients on this side. A war between them involving humans
A bit late but it technically doesn't, the iris is so close to the event horizon without actually blocking it so that the kawoosh isn't triggered (my headcannon is the kawoosh is intended to open a path on the other side of the gate to prevent what happens when matter tries to go to a gate with an active iris).
It would depend really on how seriously the Ori took the Wraith initially. According to SGA, the Wraith only managed to oust the Lanteans because they were initially underestimated and that allowed them some early victories. That in turn bought them enough time to overwhelm the Lanteans with far greater numbers. If the Ori knew that the Wraith could be a serious threat and opened up strong, the Wraith would likely be toast. Actually, I think the Asurans would be the only Pegasus based faction that would be a serious threat to the Ori.
@@SigalDa It would depend on whether or not the Wraith could get their hands on a ZPM or the Ori equivalent. They won their war against the Ancients by capturing three ZPM-powered ships and using the ZPMs to clone an army of billions, from which they were able to overwhelm the Ancients in a swarm. However, cloning that army depleted the ZPMs, meaning that the wraith numbers grew at a much slower pace than during the war. During s2 of Atlantis, it's thought that there were 60-odd hives in the galaxy. Large numbers, but not nearly the nearly unending swarm the Ancients had to deal with. If the Ori went in in full force, they could inflict quite a bit of damage versus the Ancients who got way too overconfident and ended up screwing themselves and the Pegasus galaxy over.
could they not start sending puddle jumpers through. the normal size gate and have the come out of the super gate ? also what if the wraith somehow noticed it and started sending darts though the gate as well ?
