OBT is actually better than what it used to be. They've been trying to clean it up for years but nothing helps much. They just built the police station by the 408 on OBT and years ago they got rid of all the strippers standing out. Ivey lane and Pine Hills are worse in my opinion.
Yeah, Some people can't help where they grew up, however when becoming an adult things can change like getting out of it by starting off with great knowledge & education to make the choice for a better income to leave.
The strip clubs were in the other direction towards Oak Ridge and then if you go down to Lancaster it's where they do the car races. .. usually at night time around the strip clubs is where you'll still find the prostitutes/drug addicted homeless ppl so heart breaking so much sex trafficking everywhere all hoods and suburbs too ... has been a lot of efforts to change OBT...also in Florida I've seen Undercovers in a complete hooptie they're pretty diverse with it In Florida it's not the poor areas in the hood that surprised me it's the unknown beautiful suburb neighborhoods with all black communities that I had never heard of I was talking about this the other day to my teenage daughter how they're like hidden gems and so beautiful ly maintained just gorgeous houses so different from the hood everyone expects Black or Latinos to be in
The opiod epidemic is worse than Covid. So many kids are orphans and were born with so many issues because the parents were hooked on this crap. That is heartbreaking because they will have problems for the rest of their lives in a very rough world.
