It’s ok to be lost, no human hasn’t gone through that stage. I’m a Muslim myself and it took me a few years to come to what I believe is the truth. It wasn’t easy and I imagine it isn’t the case for anybody; if your heart is sincere about the truth, it will come to you but not without effort. I suggest you familiarize yourself enough with the Quran to have a solid grasp of your deen and delve into the prophets biography. It’s a matter of understanding how it came to be and the morality Allah commands us to live by. Do the work and you’ll get the answers, whatever you choose, may Allah guide you brother/sister.

@TheAwwyee That isn’t true: the Judeo-Christian faiths are joined at the hip and both worship YHWH God, and know only the Bible is His word. The Old and New Testaments are two halves of the same book: the Old is YHVH’s covenant with man under the Mosaic/Hebraic law that looks forward to Messiah; the New is the fulfillment of Messiah and His covenant with man under grace. Christianity is simply fulfilled Judaism, and there are many Messianic Jews who have recognized Jesus is Yeshua ha’Mashiach. The religion of muhammad worships an entirely different god named allah, the god of muhammad’s Quryash tribe. The god allah and YHVH God speak in completely different voices, have completely different laws and codes of moral conduct by which their followers are to live, and only YHVH has reached out to mankind and provided a clear path for salvation.
@annemurphy9339
@annemurphy9339 2 года назад
@TheAwwyee I have listened to Singer and heard him debunked by true biblical scholars. Most are quite sure he is possessed. Christians worship no man as God: Yeshua ha’Mashiach is no created being but the second person of the eternally existent triune Godhead. He came to earth in a mortal body of His own creation and lived the perfect/sinless life no fallen mortal could ever live, perfectly keeping every jot and tittle of the Mosaic/Hebraic law. He became the sinless atoning Lamb of God on Passover and gave up His spirit at exactly the appointed time. He then proved He is exactly who He says He is by reanimating that lifeless mortal body after three days, exactly as He said He would. Do you accept the Psalms as part of the Old Testament? Proverbs? Newsflash, but they were penned after Deuteronomy, so are you a hypocrite? Both halves of the Bible, the Old and the New Testaments, were inspired by the Holy Spirit and bear His stamp of perfection in the original scrolls. May you find salvation in Yeshua ha’Mashiach.
@annemurphy9339
@annemurphy9339 2 года назад
@TheAwwyee Strange, I don’t see any stipulation whether revealed scripture is/is not a law book in your original comment, so yes, blatant hypocrisy. Read John 12:40 and you will understand the eyes of the Jews have been partially closed and their hearts hardened during the church age, for their rejection of Messiah. Yeshua ha’Mashiach perfectly fulfilled every Messianic prophecy, including Isaiah 53, which describes His suffering. Your misunderstanding of Messiah is how Israel is deceived, for a time, by the antichrist. And yes, I know the third temple will indeed be built because the Bible says it will be: I also know that about halfway into the 7-year tribulation, this antichrist deceiver will defile that temple by committing the abomination of desolation, declaring himself to be god, & demanding worship. Many Jews will come to salvation in Christ during this time, and in that I rejoice. God bless.

@@annemurphy9339 your speaking thing that sadly aren’t true If you want to find answers find a smart rabbi at your area just so you understand that jews are the truth of what’s going on The whole story of Jesus doesn’t make sense and it doesn’t work Learn Gemara to start understanding what’s going on for real because every other church have there own story’s and things that happened and didn’t so if you want truth read and look at the facts that today people are still trying to destroy us jews and you can’t deny that but somehow we are the one nation that stayed even after everyone trying to destroy us You that’s because we are wrong and we can’t c what’s happening because Jesus is true we still stand People have tried to erase Judaism and no one could because even after all the horrors we are still here indestructible Have a great day and learn a bit more of what Judaism is about before you go and argue something you don’t know anything about Good luck

brother Barel Solomon, shalom alaykum. Im a muslim and I want to thank you very much from the bottom of my heart for this wonderful story. it was well composed, produced and finalized. It really fills my heart with happiness knowing that a muslim man can be inspired to seek out god and reconnect from a jew and I genuinely feel a very strong feeling of connection. I won't say its the first time I get this feeling, but it sure is one of the strongest times. Its such a exciting thing to see how our books are connected. I saw this video of your about charity and man, this video really did change my life. its so crazy how distracted one can get with life and forget to look up and remember the grander cause that we were bought here to do. All men must serve because all men must die one day and really brother I want to thank you for your service. I dont wanna say I've had quite and extreme exposure to a similar up bringing as yours, but what happened to you I can relate to in so many ways, because I walked down quite a similar rode. One of the problems men my age (22) face everyday is lack of mentorship and guidance. Its hard to find someone willing to share and its even harder to find someone willing to do it with passion. I thank you for everything my jewish brother and I hope one day inshallah we cross paths brother so I can shake your hand and thank you in person, if you ever find yourself in switzerland please hit me up so we can connect) I really am very thankful to god for making me come across these two videos of yours (that's only how much I"ve seen so far). And I love how every relationship was referenced as a marriage regardless of the paperwork involved...."I've been divorced 20 times .." Berel this is the truth and we don't take heed to the sanctity of our hearts in our secular society. It's not given the weight that it requires. I've come to embrace orthodoxy and I know now the heart is precious. To be reserved for our soul mate. Your film will go far and will effect many.

POWERFUL testimony! I teared up when you spoke about that desire to seek Him. I too tasted the "world" and left discontent, only to be drawn back to Him but this time not because my parents coerced me to the faith, but because I thirst and wanted a relationship with Him. You have a gift brother, keep being a blessing to the world.

Although not a Chabad follower, but a member of a Sephardic synagogue and community, I had the privilege many years ago to visit Crown Heights, including a Farbrengen with the late Lubavitcher Rebbe (Z"L), having received a U.S. dollar bill from him and when he looked at me, I felt as if he had penetrated by being and knew all about me. No doubt he was a tzadik. It is unfortunate that so many Jews do not realise the blessing they have of being Jewish and should get to know the beauty of Judaism whether being Chassidim, Sephardim or Askhenazim. Like someone else wrote earlier, I also had tears in my eyes when the Rebbe (Z"L) appeared briefly in the movie and his words were heard.

Berel, I just found your channel. Watching this I can relate. Im a Jew that was raised by my secular Jewish mother from New York. We did Chanukah and Christmas each year. She believed in HaShem but we never stepped foot in a synagogue. She would cook many Jewish dishes but sometime we would eat pork and shellfish while she would say we really weren’t supposed to lol…. I follow Orthodox now but I have a long way to go learning in my mid 50’s. I do not live near a Jewish community. Baruch HaShem

Inspiring video! One of the guys in the end mentioned -- "just start by going to minyan everyday". I think that for most people that's too much to start with. I grew up secular, became religious for about 10 years throughout my 20's and into my early 30's, and haven't been religious for the past few years. Over the past few months I've been slowly rekindling some level of observance with a mitzvah here and there. I don't expect that I'll ever be orthodox again, as I still disagree with a lot of rabbinical aspects of Judaism, but I'm not letting that stop me from doing the little I can. During all the years that I was religious, one of the biggest challenges for me was davening with a minyan. Even during the few years when I was most immersed in my observance, and I was living and breathing Torah, and living in Israel with synagogues 100 feet from my home, I couldn't bring myself to go to minyan every single day, let alone three times a day. I'd usually daven at home, would go to shul for all the Shabbat prayers, and tried to go to mincha minyan a few times a week. There was a week or two where I tried going to shacharit daily, but it was more than I could handle. And that was at my peak. If there's anything to start with, I'd say it should be Shabbat. And not necessarily trying to keep Shabbat fully, in the case of someone who's been completely not religious, but doing it step by step. Taking on too much too quickly may be the start of a weak foundation, and if and when things get tough, as they did for me, some may find themselves completely leaving everything behind. I've strayed in ways that I may never be able to change. I'm in a non-Jewish marriage with someone I love, and even though I'm rekindling some level of observance, I'm not ready to break this person's heart in the name of religion, especially after everything she's done for me. I have a lot of tattoos, including visible ones on my face, neck, throat, hands, and fingers. No matter how religious I may be in the future, I have no intention of lasering any of them, for many reasons. Among them, all the tattoos have deep meanings for me and have become part of who I am. Also, lasering doesn't work 100% and takes years of countless painful sessions to just get a 95% result. Not to mention extreme costs. But to be honest, even if lasering would be quick, painless, and cheap, I wouldn't do it for the first reason. In many ways, people may see me as a spiritually lost cause, but I believe that God has a plan for each and every one of us, and my plan is just not a standard one. I'm trying to do the best I can with what I've got. The moral of the story is that it doesn't always have to be all or nothing. If I'd think that way, then I'd unfortunately have to choose nothing, because I can't handle the all. Sometimes you just have to do the little you can, and no matter how far you may have strayed, there's always hope. People looking at us may not understand, but God knows exactly what we're going through and overcoming, and I believe He will judge us fairly and mercifully in the end while taking all of our circumstances into consideration.

Truly a blessing to watch someone like Berel Solomon to have found God in his life and I can see how God has truly transformed his life and blessed him so much in his life... I have so much to learn from him. I was a Christian and left my religion to find true meanings of spirituality and the true meanings of faith and the truth of God. I think God has led me to watch this video today, something woke me inside me just now, and I think I'm compelled to find out more about God and his teachings through the book of Torah. God bless and thank you for this amazing movie.

Finally tonight I was able to take the time to relax, set everything up nicely, including connecting the iPad to the TV and watch Orthodoxed. What an achievement - your life and the movie Berel Solomon. Shkoyach. It is absolutely truly wonderful and such an absolute joy to watch the true side of Judaism. I was so moved it took probably 30 seconds in for me to be flooded in tears (joyful tears) from beginning to end. Thank you so much for showing our beautiful religion - Judaism, in such a beautiful light. Amongst all the wonderful things said in the movie my favourite quote I'm taking away is when you go to your father and say "I want to go to the Yeshiva” and your father reflects "We didn't know what the Yeshiva was, we thought it was a brain washing operation." You know what? Guess he's right - but brainwashing for the best! Kol hakavod and yasher koach for what you've been through and what you've done and achieved and continue to do. Do you know Berel Solomon yet? What??? You need to know the drug dealer to orthodox Berel. What can I tell you? This man is a mensch. Berel walked the road from dealer to Orthodoxy. This is Berel's response to all the anti religion regarding our beautiful special Judaism. Know our joy, please.

When dad said: "We had no idea what Yeshiva was" LOL 😄❤ Bravo for mama for recommended and encouraged you to go to speak with the rabbi! She kept the mitzvah to pass along Judaism from one generation to the next. Bravo to the fact that you involved people of different spiritual traditions into the documentary! Bravo for exploring different religions! Your own personal slavery = enslaved state of mind and your journey to the Promised Land.. and beyond.. I wish we've could have seen more of your amazing, sweet, possibly little introvert wife, I'm also glad that we've seen her parents, and of course your children 😊😇❤❤

@@NossyDrelich There's differences on what the level of observance should we practice which rabbis teach in Yeshivas. And we should never judge someone's level of observance. Nobody teaches eight noble paths of Buddha at Yeshiva! There's two parts of Jewish tradition, there is the written tradition, five books of Moses and 19 books of prophets and the oral tradition Halakha and Haggadah. Personaly I'm more into Haggadah, it teaches us which values are important which are perhaps less important.. But you should learn what the word and symbols mean so that you can read Haggadah easily. Hasidism is exceptional because it goes beyond from what would be naturally required, which in my opinion Berel portrayed very good, because relationship with G-D is not just thru studying Torah, but thru prayer, song or connection with every human being, which is also very Kabbalistic. I love when on Pesach my wonderful Sephardic cantor sing the parts from Haggadah in Ladino..
