For the tormented demons I say we keep the dragon claws in Chambers and instead give the tormented demons and item that can be used to upgrade the zenyte jewelry. The naming even matches up in theme. Tormented demons---> Amulet of torture, ring of suffering, necklace of anguish, tormented bracelet. RSN Dord_Live
If rat boss was f2p. It would just be botted for free and ruin the loot table. Rat king should be mem, at least jagex gets money off the bots. Otherwise, the bots are just ruining the content for free.
Or maybe Jagex focuses on bots instead of all of what they are saying. I mute two bots at grand exchange, and literally 2 more pop up a minute later. Its getting worse. This game is going to die.
@Mvgical I recomend you listen to saebae's podcast, the episode with mod Matt k. He goes over the issue on why they can't just ban all the bots. It is more nuanced then you think lol
There's still solutions to your "problem." Before I get into it, I have to say first that the rat king has a terrible loot table that isn't that profitable. 1. Make it so that in f2p to fight the rat king you need rat keys from rats like how you need giant keys for their respective bosses. That makes it so that it can't be farmed. 2. Make the alch drops more rare in f2p with food drops being dramatically more common. Or just remove the alchs. The rat king is designed to NOT be that profitable. The drops are meant to cover the supply cost of fighting the boss with a SLIGHT profit. The main purpose of this boss is to teach pvm mechanics to mid game players AND be a more engaging combat training method as opposed to afk NMZ. Being afraid of this boss being mass botted out of fear of it ruining the economy is the funniest joke of the year and we're only 1 month in. OSRS players are really a sad bunch.
RSN Dohgey: Super excited for all the new content and love the idea of a mid game pvm boss that gives more combat exp. I feel like some people are scared sailing will take away what they are used to rather than add exciting content to the game.

Ruinous powers could give the possibilities for different account build which i really like. having a dedicated tank of DPS for raids could change the way people play the game. Scurrius the ratking looks like a fun boss with mechanics mid- game players haven't seen and the fact that it has a pet is a good incentive to really learn those mechanics for mid-game players. rsn: IamZeyon I remember doing while Guthix Sleeps when it came out years ago, camping tormented demons for cash. it was so fun. I started playing osrs like 9 months ago, and i hope they are as fun to kill as they used to be. as for the D claws being moved. i think that would be fine.

RSN nwk18, can’t wait for the new content. I think it would be awesome if these new Tormented Demons dropped claws as a rare drop. Maybe keep claws in chambers for the pures or irons that don’t have the requirements for while gothic sleeps quest. Just a suggestion. Love the vids

Love mid-level bosses with actual mechanics to be a better entry point into PvM. Massive hopes for WGS, especially since I never got to do it in rs3. Varlamore looks amazing and I hope they follow the mockup made by Gentletractor as closely as possible. HD mode looks good but what really piqued my interest was the skyboxes. The only thing I'm still slightly on the fence about is Sailing. I like more content and if done well it could be amazing, but I really, really do not want a 99 grind on something that feels like something that could be a minigame, like I felt dungeoneering was (at least on release)

Im pretty indifferent towards more content being added to f2p, I feel that f2p mode is pretty complete as is and serves its purpose well. I don't think anyone in this day and age is using f2p to judge whether or not they should get membership. Also sucks that we're just now getting dt2 CAs after the fang nerf, Duke is absolute hell now as someone who cant afford a scythe. Arclight feels so much worse than pre-nerf fang.
Imo, sailing over shamanism is the biggest mistake our community made in the history. Losing against sailing with less then 0.5% shouldve been repolled. Sailing has been lacking HARD as of now.
It can never make it free to play because it would just be Botted for loot forever. Literally all it's loots would be worth pennies and general store garbage.

I'm excited about all the new stuff, except maybe for sailing. A new skill is cool and welcome, but I don't feel like sailing fits in thematically among the other skills, or even in the world of RuneScape itself, it feels out of place as a dedicated skill. RSN: Buutico
Rsn shush369 I think the new boss should stay members if the choose to create another with a standard drop table without an instance such as the chaos fanatic then it should be f2p where it teaches the basics of bossing but without the risk of bots completely destroying the economy again on multiple items

I got my quest cape a couple months ago and ive felt aimless ever since, so i am so excited to see new quests make their way onto the game!

Og player. Almost want to try it. But, I won't here's why: Osrs ui is still dog sht and takes up 66% of the screen, 07 rs trade rules and drop suck, and they voted no on hotkeys for food. Clicking food isn't skillful every og player and their mom perfexted this. It's 2024. I don't want to click 30 - 90 extra times just for food.
