Gintama is definitely crazier..jojo is bizarre but gintama is just out of this world crazyness..with a good story and plot too..good drama and top tier action with a good message..most of the times you laugh and cried but then the story kicks in out of nowhere to progress the plot..a lot of set up for future arc and then the twist came in and makes you think that its only logical that gintama is a comedy..it would'nt work any other way..its also very meta like complaining how they can't get a bigger budget like naruto or dragon ball..zurump janai its katsura is basically parodying trump..

Gintama is not "just a parody of other anime" in fact, it is easily better than dbz, Naruto, bleach combined

When Gintama actually goes into its actual story its actually incredible one of the best storytelling i have ever seen in manga and anime. Comedy is whole different level leagues above other anime and fights are incredible especially after getting deeper into the series

Just the premise of GINTAMA is the ultimate stroke of genius, it enables the author/director to go crazy without it feeling forced. And yeah, it's craziest show out there but it just makes sense.

Gintama Has a story that gets bigger and bigger the longer it goes on. First major Arc starts around 60, then the next one is like 80. It's got a good story. Some decent humor, there are hit and miss episodes. There is probably something for you in the show, more so if you watch a lot of anime.

Gintama is easily my top anime, even higher than my childhood DBZ and all that. Jojo's is not as bizzare as Gintama for sure.

It's certainly the funniest show ever, including tv series and sitcoms. It starts weak to be honest, but it peaks in another level - both the animation and humour become way better. It has a variety of jokes, from the silliest to the darkest. Also, the parodies are one of the kind, not only from anime, but from Hollywood movies and pop culture too. Regarding the more serious arcs, they're minor and scattered all over the place (after the first 50 episodes). However, they're chilling and very very sad.

Gintama is a parody anime so its always gonna be crazy, with little chance to be crazier. If I had to describe it though I would say its a comedy manga with a team dedicated to comedy, action, and storytelling, that each try to outdo the other. Still its wonderful anime

I watched all jojo and tbh it is good show and one of my favorite. But to compare it to gintama is whole another level. Its like they should put Gintama Bizzare adventure instead of Jojo. People tend to overhype jojo too much man. And for some reason when u ask if this is any better than jojo got me trigger like for no reason. Among other shounen anime and you pick jojo. I agreed with people saying that Gintama has better story builing n plot than Dragonball tho. But not as good as naruto/onepiece's plot. But each character's story for gintama take the cake. Truly masterpiece. Funny thing is, gintama is my favorite anime yet i never recommend to any of my friend because of how ''bizarre'' this show is.

Gintama is best anime , one piece is best manga .... And no competition... Seriously I watched DBZ and Naruto from childhood and watch 50+ anime I never try to watch one piece bcz of length and animation... Then one day when I was in highschool and had summer vacation I watched one piece , and after marinefort arc I start reading whole manga and it's become mine fav anime & manga , until one day I saw gin and hijikata sauna comedy seen and hijikata's voice was same as Zoro ... I felt I need to watch gintama and ohhh lord I was in treat as I know many animes and learn quite good amount of Japanese and try to learn there culture becz I love anime... Gintama hit me with everything... And it's become mine fav anime (best voice actors too), as in manga one piece is still top for me.... Gintama and one piece hold special place on my heart forever

Gintama is easily a hundred times crazier than JoJo. You can't even call it crazy anymore, it's just pure, unadulterated insanity at it's finest. Gintama is the anime that makes fun of every other anime including itself, constantly breaks the fourth wall, and isn't ashamed to pull shameless gags to make the viewers laugh. But it also has the unique trait of being able to seamlessly switch between comedy and action pretty much whenever, so you can have comedy then suddenly everyone's fighting for their lives and it would still feel natural. Not to mention how they've mastered the arts of injecting humor into serious moments, and generating drama through past relationships even without a clear past on the main cast.
