The O-line play on that fake field goal 3:48 is worth slowing down and watching two or three times. Guard pulls, tackle traps, end/receiver decoys their D back out of the play. Work of art.
I slowed it down to about .25 speed and watched it about five times. Then I read your comment and found out that I wasn’t the only one watching this play multiple times to figure out how the blocking was done.
Honestly... I'm just happy to get out of Ames with a win, I hate playing in Ames because 1. that's an extremely devoted fanbase. 2. Matt Campbell is a really good coach. Those two equal an environment for an upset. Add to the fact Xavier Hutchinson is a very talented WR and Iowa St has a great defense and you see why I'm happy with a win. Great job sooners!
Playing ISU and KSU make me nervous every single year regardless of how "good" of a team we have. I swear those 2 teams treat playing Oklahoma every year like it's their Super Bowl. They are especially scary when they get some momentum going.
I can't tell you how much I appreciate these. As not only an Oklahoma taxpayer, but an alumni of OU, it is hard to express how pissed off I am that I cannot watch these games OTA or streaming without subbing to some service or another. I am not paying any more money than I already do to see these games. Not for Direct TV. Not for Sling. Not for ESPN -. Not for FS fking 1. EVER. BV, as every coach before him, is the highest paid employee in the state. Every taxpayer pays for OU and OSU whether they want to or not, or of they attending the schools or not. I could watch Ohio St. vs.Penn State....but not this game. Every citizen of the state of Oklahoma should have been able to see this game without shelling out more money. If these greedy fks want to talk about negotiating media deals...they need to start talking about that. Thanks again Mr. Mac.

@@carvanok4226 yeah, they're definitely on something. Wouldn't be the first time athletes gave themselves a boost. My old highschools' running back took steroids and worked out religiously.. He would also do cocaine before games. On the field, he would generally run over a few defenders, gaining anywhere from 10 to 50+ yards on the run, before he was eventually brought down, IF he didn't score, that is. He would make explosive runs like that, multiple times a game... scoring 50+ just about every game.

Both TCU and Kansas State were hella bigger than Oklahoma but Oklahoma hella out recruited them, and with James Dobson and Jerry Schmidt doing weight and conditioning Oklahoma should have dominated both teams Just saying
Love the fake field goal. Dumb question: NCAA rules must allow for the placeholder to catch the ball with their knee on the ground and the play can continue (a toss in this case) instead of being dead like it normally would if your knee was down when you catch the ball?

another ISU SHIT SHOW loss I'm assuming dekker can tell the difference between red and white? maybe that's a stretch. can only ride on that winning drive against the Hawkeyes for so long. cyclone shooting themselves in the foot game after game, getting old fast.
Only 3 teams held the sicklones to less points than OU, and only ONE team hung more points on them than OU! Plus the 3 interceptions were the most ever hung on that sicklone QB in any game he 'played' so far! Great outing, Sooners! If we're turning into a bend-but-dont-break defense, so be it! I feel a LOT better about the remaining games. Maybe after a victory over some ranked cowpokers, OU will at least get back in the Top 25 again 🙂
