Well, that first night was really a plunge in the deep. It's a shame I lost/don't have footage of that, but the second half my 81 year old mother would have survived, haha! And you're welcome :-)

Yes, it is. We are not welcome in any marina because we are not fully vaccinated (and we won't :-) ), but we are anchored out in the middle of the bay, with a great view at Valetta, because they are too expensive anyway, haha! Except for the ebola-restrictions nonsense, we love it here!

Under 30 knots of wind the sea is great 😂 Greatlittle boat to live on and i would rather take this to a storm then some modern lightweight cat, but it's a floating shipping container with sails on it 🥴😁

@@DoubleUThings we Sail a Catalac 9M ist weights about 5,5 tons with 2 Yanmars at 2800 rpm we manage 6,5 kn in flat seas, against 15- 20 kN 3,5 to 4,5 kn, depending on the waves

Spritual moments? Well, the thing is that our lives revolve around God (the real one, the one of the Bible), so they are not particular spiritual moments, but rather moments that i realize kinda extra how beautiful life can be and how good God is. That gigantic flag? 😊 In the far past indeed it was orange/white/blue, but at a certain moment they changed the orange to red. I don't know why. Yeah, Oranje, Blanje, Bleu 😁

Paul's sailboat was wrecked at Malta, so I don't hope so, haha! And although we are almost on our way to Italy, I don't hope to end up like him, killed as a martyr in Rome. I wish i had his courage, though.
