Sexuality labels always feel so tricky for enby folks because so many of the common sexuality labels are about your starting point, but when you're enby, it feels so much more about the person you're attracted to and much less about your gender. So I'm fully here for people who use terms like Trixic and all the other more niche labels. The more we use them, the more we normalize enby sexualities.

Okay I'm so glad Dutchy brought up that when she was figuring out her sexuality she wasn't really attracted to men till a little later because that is how I've been feeling. I started figuring things out a little over 5 months ago and I thought I wasn't attracted to men anymore because all I ever thought about was women but I'm definitely attracted to men and have kinda figured things out for now. I'm just happy someone else felt this way and I'm not crazy.

i am aussie and it's so rare for me to find good actual representation in influencers. it was amazing seeing an australian person who is not cishet and actually be an influencer. it was just really nice seeing it as i'm nonbinary and omni so its so amazing having people like you guys

OMG I LOVED this collab with Dutchy!! I didn't know I needed this, but now I know I always needed this haha! Also, Keara, may I have a question (hope it doesn't come off as rude or anything)? How do you refer to each other with Lauren as a married couple? Do you still use wives or it doesn't work because y'all are non-binary and husband/wife are binary terms? Or you just say spouse? Or how is it, if I may ask? 😅

I don't know if this counts as a gay tv show but the first one I watched with gay/lesbian themes and characters was Glee! It's such an iconic tv show and I think I could relate to the Brittana relationship and it really helped me sort through my feelings for my best friend.

Thanks for sharing your firsts! When I came out as pansexual, some people told me I had to label myself bisexual or polysexual. It confused me so much, that for some period I just used "I'm not straight". Nowadays I'm very comfortable in using pansexual and queer.

First Gay Crush In terms of fictional crushes, I used to watch this late 90s show called `The Lost World` as a 10/11 year-old and I had a crush on both women (Marguerite and Veronica) that were a part of the main cast. In terms of real-life crushes, I first had a crush on a girl from my school I had never spoken to, and later on I developed a crush on a straight friend, whom I ended up accidentally confessing my feelings for. 2. First gay youtuber crush Ally Hills. She was the first lesbian youtuber I subscribed to. 3. First gay TV show The first time I saw any kind of representation on screen was when I watched Pretty Little Liars 4. First gay experience Not a sexual one, but making out with my first girlfriend at the age of 16 5. Have you ever fantasized about a girl when you were with anyone other than a girl? No, as I never had a boyfriend.

I'm still figuring out what labels fit me best. I did say bi, but I think Omnisexual fits best, I'm just not too used to it yet so it's still a little weird to say. I'm also bigender, but can say gender fluid or, I'm just now getting used to non binary as well. I've been doing a lot of self reflection and trying to figure it all out. The only problem is, I have NO ONE to talk to about it and am living with family who would NOT be supportive, so I'm stuck in the closet. Funny thing is, I always knew I was different, but I never really thought about the fact that I was "in the closet". Now that I know I am, its claustrophobic and I hate it.

1. first gay crush celebrity wise, i reckon it was laura dreyfuss, who most people may not know, but i had a huge musical theatre phase and she played zoe in the first dear evan hansen broadway production thing. this was around the time where i was 12/13 and realising wait, gay people exist?? in real life terms, it was when i was on a school trip and i was sharing a room with this girl i didn't know very well, but i found out she was lesbian and so i was like, why not? and we were so shy, only really texting eachother and giggling as we passed in the hallway, but yeah. not sure if i really liked her or just liked her because she was gay, i was gay, so we 'had' to be together. 2. first gay yt crush didnt really watch any youtube till i was about 14 or 15, and i dont watch any gay youtubers other than keara so, yeah! first queer yt crush was keara. 3. first gay tv show ooh, i think it may have been glee, haha! i wasnt even thinking about myself being queer at this point, so its way before i came out or could properly relate, but still! 4. first gay experience not at all sexual, but i feel like my first REAL lesbian relationship was definitely a gay experience. we rekindled our childhood friendship ,and that turned into something more. the reason its a gay experience but not a sexual one is because the most we did was hug and hold hands, but it was still a very dramatic, bold movement for us and felt very monumental. 5. ever fantasized about a girl while being with someone else? never been with a guy, and dont plan to either, so nope :)

Ok I’m late sorry about thatttt But I loved this video and loved hearing your stories! :D

I got into a huge argument with a QUEER friend over labels last year because I was telling my friends at my art table that I was bi with a prefarence for women and nonbinary people (this wasn't my coming out because I'd already been out to my friends since the beginning-ish of high school) and he was like "so you're omni because bi means you're only attracted to men and women" and what got me really mad about it was I had just run a GSA session either that day or the day before where we played queer jeprody and one of the categories was labels and the definition for bi on queer jeprody was "attracted to genders similar and different from your own" or something like that and I told him that and then we had a huge argument about bi vs pan vs omni and he was trying to tell me what my labels were and my other friends and I were in agreement that there is a lot of grey area where that is concered so there's room for people to claim labels that feel most comfortable and define them for themselves and he was like "no youre all wrong and im right because I'm bi and I know everything blah blah blah". Needless to say, this dude and I are no longer friends (not only because of this, there was a lot going on my senior year which contributed but it did play a big role in me cutting myself off from him, which was hard because it was the second month of school and because I went to a very small school, he was in most of my classes). Moral of the story folks, don't let assholes take your power to know yourself and know what labels or words you use to define yourself, no matter how queer you or they are. Even some other queers can be dickwads. Last words before I go; Have a Happy Pride everyone, and stay safe out there 🏳‍🌈🏳‍⚧
