For our last day in Iceland Enchanted Princess visited the capital, Reykjavik! It was a very long day as we had booked an excursion to visit the Golden Circle. It was a full 9 hour day and we visited the Geysir Hot Springs, Gullfoss Waterfalls and Thingvellir National Park, it was fantastic. Back onboard Enchanted Princess we visited Bellini's wine bar and enjoyed an evening meal in the Amalfi Main Dining room. We take the opportunity to go to Good Spirits for some speciality cocktails and enjoy a performance by Peter Howarth in the Princess Theater! To end the evening we experience some live music in Crooners and have one last drink in the Vista Lounge!

We took a cruise on Enchanted Princess in July 2022 out of Southampton during the UK Summer Holidays. The ship had an occupancy of 3,500 during the voyage and we expected it to be busy as this was during the school holidays. During this cruise we visited a number of ports in Norway and Iceland over 14 nights.
We are Tom and Dom and we experienced our first cruise on the MSC Virtuosa during her UK staycation cruises in 2021. We are relatively new to cruising, however we can now say we are officially hooked.
Our mission is provide a fair and balanced review of our travels. We look at the types of food that is available onboard, from main dining rooms, room service, buffets and pool side snacks. We include menus for each of cruises so that we can share the selection of drinks and meals that are available. Entertainment onboard a cruise ship is important to us and we enjoy theatre production shows, live music, quizzes and game shows. We love to explore different ports and destinations and enjoy sharing tips and tricks so that you can make the most of each port. We often explore ports independently but also book excursions that are interesting to us.
We have created a list of our cruise essentials. These are items we take with us when we travel and we hope they may be useful to you. We have also added a Wine list which contains some of the wines we have tried whilst cruising.

Great travel video. Your photos were wonderful. I do agree with Rob about the pronunciation of “geyser.” It’s said with a long i as in ice or guy. I do find being human challenging because I’m so very imperfect. And I hate, hate making mistakes but do all the time.

Tom.. shave the tips of your eyebrows off.. take a picture and send in to Talent Agency that deals with Star Trek .. seriously .. you would be a perfect Vulcan.. just need pointy ears.. amazing.. you could be the next Mr. Spock.. This is a compliment by the way. I’m a Star Trek fan and could see you in a role as a Vulcan, think you would do well. A comment/question and a favor. I try to watch your content on different platforms but I lose track of time. Is your newest content on Instagram and RU-vid content can be weeks after a return from travel? Do you have a recommendation of a cruise line for travel in Northern Europe as I would like embarkation/debarkation from Southampton or Rotterdam? I tried P.O. Cruises but making reservations is extremely difficult from N. America. Your video recording is very sharp/bright whether you are indoors or outside. Any product recommendation? Thanks as always

Hi Chris! Yeah, RU-vid is a bit behind as it takes ages to edit and we only release one video per week. Instagram and other socials are more current as we post while we are away! Our Norway and Iceland cruise was in July and the last VLOG and review for that we will be released on the 19th of December. We will then have our MSC Preziosa Northern Europe VLOG starting the following week! We’ve just come off an MSC Northern Europe cruise from Southampton and it was great, we have also done one with Cunard, which was fantastic, although pricey. MSC are good because you can embark at any point on the Journey! We use an iPhone for all of our recording and a DJI Gimbal when we are out and about. With such a long excursion, were you worried about making it back to the ship in time? Or was there still plenty of time to spare? BTW, correct British pronunciation of geyser 👍.

It was a very long tour and full on. We weren’t worried as we knew there still was time to spare. We wished we could have seen the city but at this point we didn’t know it wouldn’t be too long before we could

Just a note.. it’s pronounced as ‘guy’ser just FYI. A Gizzer is kinda a rude way to say old person .. lol seriously I was laughing so loud my spouse asked what was so funny, so showed, him and he too almost peed his pants.. loved it..
